    Very informative, using footswitch instead of snapshots first, got a query, I have a parametric eq I like on a specific amp from a pink floyd preset bought from line 6, is there a way of copying the single block and pasting to a user patch I'm making up right now or is it a case of copy the whole patch all in- change every thing but ghe parametric eq settings, orr just write the values and manually input? Would be great if the quick and simple way was possible!
    Loving your tutorials and your sharing your experience and wisdom with pod go man thanks 👍!

      Hey Mike, thanks for the comment.
      Yes, there's the quick and simple way - right click the block you want to copy, select ''copy'', go to the preset where you want to paste it, select a block where you want to paste it, right click that block and select ''paste'', and you're done.
      ---
      BTW, I'm honored to be anyone's source of info and help, but I do have a breaking point, especially if the question at hand is so EASY to check for yourself before asking for help. I was even tempted NOT to respond to this, because you bought a preset from Line 6, and you're looking me for help. Nothing against you, but I sort of kind of maybe have a feeling I've been dealing with more of their s**** than I thought I'd ever have to.

      @Ivan Pešut so you're saying you are having enough of the lack of line 6 customer care fall on your shoulders? From needs. Maybe, I'm just getting back into it, I had an old the 1st mini bean from line 6 a pocket pod it sounded shit I stayed away fro it after that, it was a present I'd have never thought how far these would get till I stumbled across vids on multi fx u nits with amp and sims of cabs, etc, look I mean no disrespect but I kinda get the vibe you shouldn't have answered, because I could have gotten it figured out myself but the idea just came to me, on call fixing other ppls plumbing at night, understandably my mind was on other things , did not mean to burden you with too easy questions, maybe you should have just not answerved the question, it's an easy a fk one now I know how, now!
      But what is the purpose of you doing these vids? Have you gotand issue with line 6 problems being directed to you, idk is it just to show and tell but not interact unless it's praise?

    • @mikefarquhar5063

      @Ivan Pešut it is a line 6 product maybe you could benefit from idk getting a job there as customer care, you certainly have the attitude their agents have. You'd be at home 😉

      It was .ore a dig at line 6 just so I don't offend you, line 6 have poor q&a and circle's of getting nowhere on certain topics, I've learned it'll by asking questions on other user sites, smart ppl ask questions even if it makes them look dumb.

    • @pekkyas
      @pekkyas  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mikefarquhar5063 you asked a lot of questions there man! I most definitely did not mean to offend you with my words. But they do seem harsh, and I'm sorry for the way I explained myself. There's plenty of stuff we could talk about, but the core problem is this:
      1. Current sleep deprivation, which makes me hyperproductive in the early morning, but it also makes me less capable in stress management, and I'm more prone to being fairly ''brutal'' when I'm trying to express something I feel.
      2. The reason why I said what I said about you coming here, and you bought something from Line 6, is because I'm also trying to make a living. Somehow. On TH-cam. You've praised me and gave me more than enough compliments, and I appreciate your views and your comments...
      3. ...but after you tell me you spent your money somewhere else, and you need me to fix that for you, that kinda makes me...feel a bit used, if that makes sense? You could've easily gotten some of my presets for free, or book a session with me to have all your questions answered.
      4. Hence the whole, ''check if you can do it yourself first'' comment...it was a simple question, I gave you a solution in LITERALLY one sentence.
      5. I encourage criticism of every kind, and I never disrespect anyone who says something negative or offensive about the content I put out.
      6. I can learn from your criticism, thank you.
      7. I can't make a living from compliments and praise, that's not a currency that I buyx bread with in the morning.
      8. Too much text.

    Ivan, superb video, thank you. I'm often amazed at the facility non-native English speakers have with the language. I assume you're from the former Yugoslavia. I'm a native speaker of English and fairly articulate, but I couldn't make a video this information packed and brief to save my life. I'll probably spend 40 hours rewinding this and digesting it. As someone returning to guitar after years away, your vid is super helpful to understand the Pod Go a bit. A lot of videos I've seen have either a dull or harsh clean tone. I'm still not sure if I want to buy the Pod Go (vs. the old Fender tube I used to have) but your video showed me a different side that others haven't gone into. Thanks!

    • @pekkyas
      @pekkyas  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Will, you're welcome! Don't know what exactly is the improvement you're referring to, but I agree that delay is usually dialed-in to taste, or at least to fit the song. Gain however, will vary depending on your pickups, how heavy of a picker are you, and a plethora of other things. Lemme know if you need some tweaks for this, I'll be happy to help :)

    My fav amp in POD GO - very versatile!
    It would be loved if you could tell more about sag/ripple/bias/hum. I hear the difference tweaking it, but I don't understand what is going on.

    • @pekkyas
      @pekkyas  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Hey Bartosz, thanks for the question! As I said in the video, sorry I didn't get into detail on this.
      Hum is the easiest - imagine it as a static (yet very powerful) occurence that happens in all amps - they all HUM. If you crank it up to the max, you'll hear the immediate effect of it, and that effect will REACT when you push the preamp stage...some is good, all is awful.
      To simplify all the other controls, imagine that all of them are shaping this ''electrical'' circuit, and how much ''power'' runs through the amp. The more you ''SAG'' it - the more saturated the tone becomes; it also gets compressed; it also feels like it has more gain...
      Anyway, my advice: try the extremes first with these, to first identify the range and then find your place under the Sun.
      Hope this helps!

    Hello Ivan, any idea on how to add additional footswitch or replace fx with another delay footswitch.

    • @pekkyas
      @pekkyas  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Warner! Yeah, you can add extra footswitches to the POD. I don't know other brands here, but I saw people use the HoTone FS-1 Ampero Switch with the POD GO. You can then assign those two extra switches, which are both momentary, to control whatever you want :)

    • @pekkyas
      @pekkyas  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@user-cd9ui4qv4q ok, I'm still not getting what you want, I'm just gonna type out some facts and stuff about the fx loop, and if this still doesn't help, please find me on Facebook, or even send me an e-mail if you prefer that, you have all the links in the description:
      1. FX Loop is an integral part of the POD GO, it can be either mono or stereo.
      2. It is located on the back of the unit, where you have the usual Return/Send inputs, like with any other loop.
      3. I personally use it to run a stereo delay pedal: the pedal is connected to the POD GO at all times, and I can decide whether I want to use it or not: if I do, I just select the Stereo FX Loop and turn it on. If I don't want to use the external reverb pedal, I just leave the FX Loop off.
      4. You can unassign the button that controls the FX Loop ON/OFF state. As I said, it defaults to FS2, and if you're not using the FX Loop you can use that footswitch to control something else.
      5. The FX Loop option (and icon inside the edit window) is always present and you cannot remove it from your screen, or from the POD GO, but again, you're not forced to use it.

      Hey John! I just woke up, and I'm sometimes cranky AF when I'm sleep deprived, and this question is kinda pushing me in that territory. There are x+1 reasons why you didn't get the same result sa me, and I'm almost tempted to start a list here, which would never really end. What kind of guitar do you have, what pickups are in there, what plectrums do you use? Maybe you made an error somewhere? Do you want me to send you this preset, free of charge, so you can check if you got it right? You can find my email here, in the About section, so feel free to contact me.

    • @pekkyas
      @pekkyas  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! I'm recording in stereo, and the device definitely supports that. When it comes to signal chain, you just have to know what blocks are stereo, and what are mono. Why? Because, if you put a Mono block, after a Stereo one, everything will get summed down to a mono signal. So, ALL Amp/Preamp, Distortion, Dynamics, and Filter blocks are MONO. Everything else is STEREO a block.
      As far as connecting goes, I'm going from the Main Out L AND R, into my audio interface, with two cables, hence - stereo : )
