I did perler beads as a kid. The time didnt bother me. It was the risk of the design getting bumped and destroyed. Now my sibling got into the mini perlers. So ive started doing them again too.
This is such a smart and informing video! I always get back into perlers but am always scared to buy just the color packs so i buy a whole tub and sort them in my off time 🤣
I would hate doing that, that's why I won't buy those tubs, I had to sort out the leftovers of a failed piece and that was only Black, white, grey, light and dark greys but it took me a couple of hours to do, never again do I want to have to do that.
Picked up a bunch of stuff today because I decided to do some ornaments with my girl scouts because I loved that as a kid with my mom, but then I was looking for pokemon patterns for personal fun projects and found you! Love this channel already. ❤ Also, got a pretty good deal on some bigger kits at Joann's with coupons today. Definitely bought way too much. 😂
Thank you so much for all the advice and info! I am new to this but love it so much already! I learned about it watching your videos so thank you so much!
If you already made this video, it's not easily found. I want to see your process for taking sprites, laying them out, color selection and your bead order placement.
I've got my own perler wall now from learning from your channel! Even my pfp is a perler I've made. One tip I'd give everyone is that the perler extra large board is quite nice. It's not quite 4 boards big but it is big enough for nearly all my projects @ 49x69 pegs
My original Og Japanese game boy black and white sprite of Dragonite took me a long time to do, a couple of days and it failed with my tiny iron i had then, but now ive started to do it again and i did half of it in about 2 hours and another quarter of it the next day in a out half an hour to an hour. onece you figure out how you are going to do the artwork and properly manage your space on the pegboard (i had one that went from edge to edge and when i went to tape it the tape didnt go on properly because i had no extra room for the tape so it failed and now i have to fix that when i get a colour i was missing for it) it doesnt take that long at all to do small to medium sized bead art, the Dragonite i have put on hold for a bit is 59 x 50 something beads and i split it into 4 parts on my 56 x 56 mini bead board so not that big but it didnt take nearly as long doing it part by part as it did when i tried doing it whole the 1st time.
Im sorry did you say 2 or 3 dollars a piece? God damn ive been buying them for 30-50 Australian dollars each depending on the colour, i wish they were that cheap for me.

Yeah I can do that
Cool video!
Do you have any advice on how I can grow my Perler bead channel?
Consistency is key honestly. Don’t focus on the numbers.
@@beadamonpixels Thanks!
The best bead tool I've purchased is the little bead vacuum.....!!

I got a question, whats the point of poking a hole while using the tape method?

Hello, what software do you use to make large pieces? I'm looking, but I can't find it. you would help me a lot.
