I was excited to try the mini beads a year or two ago. I went all in and bought a multi-pack like you did, plus lots of other colors. I really disliked it. I tend to use my fingers to place most beads and with slight movements get them aligned with tweezers. I felt so clumsy and it took forever to use the mini beads. I then melted the heck out of them. Back on the shelf they went. I'd purchased materials to make earrings and thought it would be fun to do but quickly changed my mind. Nice job out of the gate.
Thanks for your honest opinion! Yes, they’re definitely not for everybody. I appreciate your kind words! The pieces I did took way longer than the regular (midi) counterparts…but it’s something I will come back to. Theres no way I could work with these without tweezers! Again, not for everybody but very interesting to try! - Ryan
You’re very welcome! Thanks for checking out the video. Awesome to hear. I’m sure that baby yoda will be very cute! How was your experience? Did you like using them?
@@nostalgicnicknacks I really liked using the mini beads. I also diamond paint and think my experience with that craft helped me with the minis. The trays for diamond painting weren't helpful because the minis get stuck at the spout end.😄 I also transplanted all my mini beads by small spoon to sturdy storage containers. Unfortunately, some were lost by scatter which easily happens. 🙃
Good! I’m sure when they scatter…they really scatter! Diamond painting sounds interesting. I think I’ve seen that before..glad it helped you with the minis!
Have you used mini beads before?
Yes. Not just Perler, but also Lihao.
@@periwinklenigel cool! Haven’t hear of Lihao beads before!
Got them from Amazon.
@@periwinklenigel I’ll have to check them out!

Would be better than normal beads if u make keychains with them
They do make incredible keychains! So tiny! Hard to keep those holes open though. I’ll have to practice more on that. 👍🏻
Perler doesn't sell them, but Artkal does sell mini hexagon and circle pegboards.
Thanks for your comment! Very cool. I’ll have to check those out. ✅
Thank you for the great mini perler video! I've created a mini Mario and plan to make a mini baby yoda in the near future. 😊
