- I could've gone to Disneyland Hong Kong lol but I decided to come here! This is a full exclusive tour of the Artkal beads headquarters in Shenzhen and I had the pleasure of meeting the many employees and manager at their HQ who taught me a lot about their warehouse and how they package and ship out their beads to fuse beaders around the world.

this is possibly the coolest video I've seen all year. I never thought I'd be able to see the deep innards of the source of one of my favorite hobbies! Thanks for going and filming it for us!!!! Doris and Fan were really nice, made the company seem friendly and not a faceless corporation and I'm glad to be making the switch to Artkal.

Just watching you go into that warehouse and seeing all those different kinds of sprites and beads got me so excited that I couldn't put it into words. I'd be beyond thrilled to be able to have a chance to do the same!
I've been fuse beading for almost 5 years now, and I started using Perler, and then slowly branched out to Hama and Artkal. Without a doubt, Artkal has the superior color selection between them all, so lately, I've been using Artkal almost exclusively.

I just started doing these beads. I know Artkal has more colors than Perler. I can get the big ones but finding the minis are not as easy. Thank you for doing this. Its amazing!

This is amazing! I can't wait to have the funds to buy the huge collection of colors!! Seeing the warehouse was really cool and unique. It gives some more insight to the process in packaging.

I was gonna choose between this or perler but this has such a large selection that overwhelms perler. I downloaded their bead coloring and went online to input the colors for each one because I knew the lighting would affect and some of the colors are so beautiful. Took a picture of each color and wrote what each are just in case I want to buy more!

I work at child care and our kids love fuse beads ... and so do I as a hobby myself. Some of the kids creations break from time to time, the soft beads would be an awesome outcome and really get my creative juices going in terms of what you can do with them. I'm sure to check out those soft beads!! Thanks for the video QD :D

I can already tell I need to try these beads out, they got tons more shades and colours than perler beads that I was working with. I can't wait to get a few shades of green and do a portrait of Reptile from mortal kombat! 😉

Thank you for posting this video. Im a perler bead newbie from the US. I love the Artkal color palate options, did you see any innovations in peg boards? I purchased a perler super pegboard and it would be great to interlock the large square peg boards and the super peg board for large projects. Also, the soft beads look interesting...i liked the designs they came up with in the studio...Keep up the great designs, looking forward to what you are going to post next!
I don't think they've made a big pegboard yet, but it definitely would be nice to have bigger ones for those large projects!

Have you tried any other beads other than artkal? Like perler beads or some other ones?
Yes I use perler and artkal beads regularly, but I've also tried Ikea pyssla beads too, which aren't very good for my projects unfortunately!

Are artkal beads cheaper than Hama beads (peeler beads) as I am thinking of switching if it is cheaper.
I'm not familiar with Hama brand beads, but you can check the links in my description to compare prices! I think Artkal beads are cheaper when you buy colour sets. Check it out! :)
