Bring elbows back, arms close to body, bring wrist in close to the waist. The more you splay arms out to the side the more you limit yourself and progress. If you watch boxers their arms and wrist are close up to their bodies.
Great advice mate! I really struggled with the arm positioning and also ordered a shorter rope as I felt I was limited due to its length. Working on the details now. Cheers again and appreciate your feedback!
Nice! Started jumproping on the 10th of august every two days and I already lost like 5kg (and eating less :-) ) Still can't get the hang of the boxer skip yet. Need to practice more! Keep up the good work!
Nice work and great weight loss results after a relatively short time! The boxer step needs a bit of time. However start to practice it slowly first and once you’ve got the coordination right, you can speed it up. Keep going and let us know how you’re doing🤙 We really appreciate your comment and thanks for this awesome feedback!
I saw another video of a guy "Losing weight by jumping rope in 30 days". Then he had another video "Losing weight with the ab roller in 30 days".. then another one "Losing weight by dieting in 30 days" - It was ALL the same before & after pics, in the same 30 days. So I guess my question is......... Did you do _anything_ else besides jumping rope in the 30 days?
Great question! Unlike some others, I adjusted the number of jumps based on my progress throughout the 30 days to keep things challenging. I also added weighted ropes regularly to intensify the workouts. Plus, I cut out sugar and alcohol completely during the challenge, which made a big difference. So it wasn’t just about jumping rope-it was a combination of exercise and clean eating! Cheers Mate
We’ve used the Crossrope AMP products as linked in the video description. Pretty handy tool, with good stat tracking and programs. Check out their products here. With this link you can also get 15%off;) crossrope.com/PUSHMENT
I don’t understand how anyone could just start jump roping everyday. My calves get so tight the next day that no amount of stretching or massaging loosens them up. I have to wait at least an extra day or two for that to go away.
@@rahillizad4688 hey mate, I’ve added statistics in the video. You will see the amount of jumps in different positions as a table. I increased regularly and started around 1000 skips. In the end I did around 4000-5000. I hope this helps!
@@Pushment bro I’m 15 and I wanna lose weight I’m 68kq now and I wanna be 60 if i do this jumping ( i jump without stopping about 150 times ) in 30 days can I lose weight 8 kq ? I wanna have abs thank you 🙏🏻
@@rahillizad4688 good on you mate! Rule of thumbs for healthy weight loss is 1 kg per week. Avoid added sugar, show up every day and just follow some 15 min workouts on TH-cam. If you get better increase your jump time. It is not needed to do the reps in one go, pauses are part of the training. You must be exhausted but don’t exceed the limits. Try to implement tricks to learn, that brings fun and you don’t stick to the reps too much!🤙
For sure man! I would even argue that only rope skipping can get you there. However most important part is to get into a calorie deficite. Nutrition is crucial. I avoided any sugar and didn’t drink any alcohol. Rope skipping, no sugar and alcohol was pretty successful for me!
