Agree,I think so also Kiptom would of smashed the 2:00.00 mark.And if the weather conditions were to his liking he would fully take advantage of it.By the time he got to his early 30s he would very close to his peak give or take a few years depending on his individual make up.He would of won a Gold metal in the Paris Olympics. So sad he left too soon.
You need to update this. I actually did a 2:00:50 a couple weeks ago but it was unofficial and my watch and camera died a mile into it but I swear it happened.
What' is so weird and sad is both Steve Prefontaine and Kelvin Kiptum died in car crashes at 24 years old "Kelivin Kipton being very young still at only 24 years old didn't even reach his full potential yet. He would of still continually gotten even more efficient and faster breaking his previous records for a number of years to come.Its so tragic and sad to lose a young man and a great runner full of such incredible potential .RIP Kelvin Kipton.I hope his friends and family will find peace from the tradgedy. Kipton will always be remembered . 🌠

I believe Kiptum would've broken the 2 hour barrier this year if he hadn't tragically passed away. What an incredible athlete. RIP.
