For the accessories they took so many ideas from the DJI Action 2
The GO2 is such a great device and now with the wireless screen on the GO3 I don't have to pull out my phone to frame my shots. They are great for B-roll because you can allow it to record and catch the raw footage. Best part is it is completely stabilized without doing anything in post. I have even been adding it to my studio workflow because using timeshift on stop motion animation work makes creating those videos quick and easy.
Addressed a lot of the issues I had with the Go 2 but I was really hoping for a micro sd card slot on this one
Well, I found my answer. Maybe I'd pay a bit more for the X3

I got the Insta360 x3 for my HAWAII CHANNEL and am still learning the ins and outs of it. This looks great and perfectly portable.
Are you able to zoom in on shots while editing in the mobile app? (Since its a single lens camera)
I just bought my insta360 too which I used in my recent vlogs. My gosh, this new release of insta360 is making me want to purchase it! It is so addictive to get small and versatile camera ❤❤
My only doubt is the hold of the camera. I'm afraid it might fall and lose it.

So I have watched at least 6 videos and not one has mentioned how the Go2 would over heat and if they fixed that in the Go 3. Did you experience any over heating? What was the longest segment you recorded continuously?
Exactly. Mine would overheat after 5-10 min. Hell 2 on a bad day. I was waiting for this comment also.

Can you touch on your experience with wired and wireless uploads speeds and work flow when it comes to editing and posting. A lot of ppl were saying that the go 2 has uploads speeds that’s are super slow.
I really hoped this had a slot to put a micro sd card in it. That would make the uploading a separate job and you would still be able to use the camera. Rather then having to wait to use it because it’s hooked up. 💯🙌

I own the Go2 and purchased the Go3 after seeing this video. Later i learned Go3 only has vibration on its case, not on the core when you are shooting. So unhelpful to no longer have vibration feature. I turn off lights and sounds on the camera. I don't want to distract others with beeping -esp in a quiet environment and i don't want a glowing blue light on in the center of my chest when attached to the magnet pendant causing others to stare at the distracting light.... therefore, i can no longer "feel" when it is officially on or off. When wearing the hat clip, the lack of vibration is equally annoying.
Hi, I have a question in referrence to being able record with a time and date stamping while recording or even adding it after from the meta data. Can it be done? I do have another program that can extract the meta data or add the time and date to any video but it would be nice if it could be done with its own app.

Are the accessories from go 2 compatible?
Two major flaws prevent me from purchasing it. Firstly, the storage capacity is limited (64 GB/128 GB); you cannot use your own micro SD card, which means that if you run out of space, you have to stop recording and backup the files, which can take up to 10-20 minutes depending on your location/situation. The second major flaw is that it does not support 4K video recording, which is surprising in 2024. The lack of waterproofing is not a major issue for me, but it could be for some. Despite all these flaws, I really want to like this camera.
You can always tell when it's a paid review as the reviewer has a more perky, overly enthusiastic, slightly patronising 'encouraging you to also like it' tone. Rather than a 'I'm checking it out to see if it's any good tone'.

Insta360 X3 wins for 360 cameras, GoPro still wins in the mini category for true action cams. Its got just as much footage, can go deeper etc. But Insta360 wins in the 360 category.
No mention of video quality as compared to the Go 2? Was it just me or did some of the shots looks quite pixelly and low res?

The camera does not have a screen on it, and you can control it remotely from the case. Or you can put them together.
