Hi Tangy, hi George, a vert excellent recipe I will try. I’m so glad you are settled and working to make your home as it was and then some. Hi to Jack .God bless you all,❤️❤️🌹🌹👍🙂
My foster children are watching this and asking me if we can make these, this afternoon! I already had other plans but I suppose we could do both. Thank you for sharing
I made these last night . . . You couldn’t describe these with justice, something people HAVE to try to know the extent of this deliciousness 😁 Mylanta, these are out of THIS WORLD!!! 😍🤤My husband said if he didn’t have a big lunch, probably could have eaten the whole cookie sheet🤣
I'm 80% sure that I've seen a recipe for low carb crescent rolls for those that need to give this a makeover. Or just bake the filling; lots of options
A friend and coworker use to make something very similar years ago. I forgot all about these. I will need to make some to use my canned chicken. Yummy.
Those look so good. I haven't seen crescent rolls in our stores since before Christmas. It would probably work just as well to use puff pastry sheets, don't you think? Or I could even just make some biscuit dough probably. I love that you made your own sauce. Have to give these a try. Thanks, Tangi!
You could use biscuit dough but it will be more dense than a crescent roll. Definitely a good option. Puff pastry would be a good alternative but I’m wondering how the puff to filling ratio would need to be to be good… worth a try!
How about home canned pulled pork pillows, BBQ sauce. Ugly Chicken Tinga pillows, pico de gallo sauce. Chipotle beef pillows, Tex-Mex chili gravy on top. Italian sausage inside and marinara sauce. Hold the cream cheese and butter in all. So many flavor possibilities! I have to go for a lower fat recipe than the original, as good as it sounds, and make half as much for two of us. Watching Hubs have a widow-maker and go through a triple bypass cured me of that. Thanks for the inspiration! I’m going to work on some more low fat versionS!
Looks very yummy. I think to save time I would put one crescent dough on the bottom of a 9 x 13 put the chicken spread and then put the second Crescent dough on top and bake it. Also, if you would like a deeper golden sauce on top you can leave the roux for a good bit longer till it was a nice golden brown then add the milk. I have some leftover honeybaked ham in my freezer and when you said that it’s starting to look like a spread I thought to myself, “wow, I could take that ham and make a ham spread and make ham pillows!” Thank you for the video!
I'm loving learning of new ways to use my "ugly chicken". When you talked about your green beans, I actually cook mine in the oven at times. It was a happy accident originally. I had an oven without a timer that worked and it was for a Sunday dinner for after church. I opened a couple cans of green beans, added butter, put a lid on it and they cooked for 3 hours at 335 degrees. They were so good! Now my adult son always asks if they were cooked in the oven because then he eats them up. LOL
I have not heard of Chicken Pillows before. Where have they been all my life? Can’t wait to make these. These will be good for the soul 🥰. Thank you for sharing.
As a painter, I really want to paint your blacksplash wall!! But seriously thank you for creating this channel!! I so appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos!
This looks like a fun good Rich recipe. May have to make this and even some variations of this. Like you said this is a really good base idea I can see different meats and even some vegetables what fun I'm going to have with this recipe
Tangi, Nice t-Shirt! I should have had lunch before watching this video. This look so good. I wonder if I could use butter horn dough instead of crescent roll dough? I can’t wait to try it! All the Best, LeAnne
This looks so good! It's a dish that lends itself to different flavor profiles. Like you said, Cajun would be really good. And I thought of soul seasoning, or even poultry seasoning. Maybe a hint of curry flavoring. So many possibilities. Your family is eating well on this dinner!!
I’m just so stinkin jealous of your hair. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Also, I can’t wait to make this.
I saw your video pop up and I said, "Hey, Tanji's making chicken pillows" and Husbeast replied, "Why would chickens want pillows?" Hahaha!🤣
LOL!
That's hilarious
I just have to say I love the ‘’Eat it or starve’’ sign on the fridge. Made me laugh today 🤣
LOL!

What a great idea to use crescent rolls.

Yummy idea with the ham!
Ham pillows 🤩😋
Do both ham and chicken, and make chicken cordon bleu pillows.
This might also be good with just canned tuna.
@@mehtarelingolien what a great idea!!! I do have chicken to add to the ham- just need to pick up a chunk of Swiss and grate it.
@@mehtarelingolien Cordon Bleu, oui, tuna, non.
