I'm 63 years old and I can't remember not watching him on tv before I went to church. He's given me so much understanding of God's word. I would recommend anyone to listen to him especially new Christians. He's just such a good teacher.

I have learned a lot with Dr. Charles Stanley, and I still continue listening and learning from him. I been listening to Dr. Charles Stanley since before I left 🇵🇷Puerto Rico in the year 2000 and still listen to him here in the mainland. This year of 2023 I wanted to visit him in Atlanta but he soon passed away, but like Jessica Gurley had said that we will all see him again.👍

My father was a Catholic most of his life but when he had leukemia, I came home to care for him. When he could no longer go to church I turned on Dr. Stanley for him and every Sunday until his last breath he watched his program. I was saved at 18 but never grasped the fullness of the word of God until I took a 3 year journey in the Bible on my own. I heard my name called loud and clear. The Holy Spirit showed up in a huge way. My life changed forever. I’m not jealous, angry, offended, worried. God thank you for your Son God thank you for the Helper. That is awesome to hear, Joseph. Dr. Stanley is right, the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer, but not every believer seems to understand the nature and power given us, by God. The only report I can honestly make, is that when I see Godly results in my life, and when I have that desire to be closer to God burning in my heart, ...that is my only real indicator that the HS is working in my life. Satan will of course do his very best to dissuade you of that notion, but God will always help you to overcome. And to be honest, from reading your sentence, your written English is better than many American's I meet, who can't seem to get the most common contractions down, like "you're" "your" "there" "their" etc... Oh how blessed you are!! I wished I had found him back in 1977 after I escaped the Jehovah's Witnesses, and was lost and confused 40 years. God pulled me back from sin, in 2017, and I am forever grateful. I love the spiritual food Dr Stanley provides. Yvette, you appear to have a heart for God, but I encourage you to read right through the book of ACTS which was the birth place of the New Testament church….of note read the apostle Peter’s reply when interested believers at that time, asked him at the feast of Pentecost what they must do to partake of New Covenant salvation ( Acts 2 vs37&38 etc. ) His reply to them….REPENT AND BE BAPTISED EVERYONE OF YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS, AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST……….The gift of the Holy Spirit will always be evidenced with the speaking of other tongues……if indeed you happen to have been filled with the Holy Spirit, it remains that you also need to be baptised in water by full immersion IN THE NAME OF JESUS FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS……..and then your salvation will be complete according to ACTS 2: vs 38 and all other examples of salvation in the book of Acts.

After I got saved over twenty years ago, I listened to Charles Stanley, I've been around listening to more preachers than I'll mention, but overall after hearing him for over twenty years I see he's God's real deal.
This is 2019 and I have been saved for 22 years and I was naturally led to listening to Pastor Stanley myself. There are other pastors out there but not as effective as Pastor Stanley's style of preaching to us and I appreciate that I have been led to listening to him. He has the gift of preaching from Christ Jesus and Father God and the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit woke me up early this morning. The first thing I saw on my I pad was Dr Charles Stanley Teaching on the Holy Spirit! I’ve been praying for the working of the Holy Spirit in my life more. Next week I will be teaching a Sunday School Class & I know I must have Him leading me as I teach them. sharper110 With all due respect , as far as the truth of the gospel is concerned . Dr. Charles Stanley preaches the biblical truth of Salvation. If you really believe that once saved always saved is false then you have to ask yourself why did Jesus promised eternal life in the book of John numerous times for all those who believe on Him. Salvation is a gift of God , we don't deserve it in the first place ..it's all because of God's Grace (undeserving favor)and mercy that He saves us..it's all about Jesus' performance not ours..If we can lose our Salvation then Jesus should have said those who believes in Him WILL HAVE(future tense) ETERNAL LIFE if they obey me. It should be called "conditional "temporary life " but instead He said In John 6 :47 Very truly i say to you He who believes in me "has"(present tense) ETERNAL LIFE I am an ex-Catholic i was spiritually lost until I heard and believed the message of the gospel exactly the same as what Dr. Charles Stanley preaches (it's biblical) I got regenerated -"born again" I have never been the same since. Through the work of the holy spirit He empowers me to live a Godly life in obedience to God's will. Of course I stumble from time to time..since i started my walk with the Lord I've had experienced God's chastisement upon me everytime I stepped out of His will because He loves me .I have the desire to obey Him and to live for Him not because I'm. Afraid to lose my Salvation nor I'm fearful of going to hell but because of my gratitude and love for Jesus for all that He's done for me.. If you live everyday trying all your might to please and obey God out of fear of losing your Salvation .you'll never have peace aad assurance that you gonna be on heaven ..remember we are saved by faith alone..when we put our trust in the substitionary Sacrifice of Jesus in the Calvary God counted it as our rightiousness .He sees the rightiousness of Jesus in us and not our own performance ..our performance will always fall short of His glory. When you see professing Christians who willfully deliberately sinning against God .the question should be wether or not they are truly born again or they just backslide for a season and expect God's chastisement upon them in due time..God cannot be mocked, we'll reap what we sow in this side of heaven and our eternal reward in heaven . When he could no longer go to church I turned on Dr. Stanley for him and every Sunday until his last breath he watched his program. That is awesome to hear, Joseph. Dr. Stanley is right, the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer, but not every believer seems to understand the nature and power given us, by God. The only report I can honestly make, is that when I see Godly results in my life, and when I have that desire to be closer to God burning in my heart, ...that is my only real indicator that the HS is working in my life.
Satan will of course do his very best to dissuade you of that notion, but God will always help you to overcome. And to be honest, from reading your sentence, your written English is better than many American's I meet, who can't seem to get the most common contractions down, like "you're" "your" "there" "their" etc... God pulled me back from sin, in 2017, and I am forever grateful. I love the spiritual food Dr Stanley provides. After I got saved over twenty years ago, I listened to Charles Stanley, I've been around listening to more preachers than I'll mention, but overall after hearing him for over twenty years I see he's God's real deal.
This is 2019 and I have been saved for 22 years and I was naturally led to listening to Pastor Stanley myself. There are other pastors out there but not as effective as Pastor Stanley's style of preaching to us and I appreciate that I have been led to listening to him. He has the gift of preaching from Christ Jesus and Father God and the Holy Spirit.

With all due respect , as far as the truth of the gospel is concerned . Dr. Charles Stanley preaches the biblical truth of Salvation.
If you really believe that once saved always saved is false then you have to ask yourself why did Jesus promised eternal life in the book of John numerous times for all those who believe on Him. Salvation is a gift of God , we don't deserve it in the first place ..it's all because of God's Grace (undeserving favor)and mercy that He saves us..it's all about Jesus' performance not ours..If we can lose our Salvation then Jesus should have said those who believes in Him WILL HAVE(future tense) ETERNAL LIFE if they obey me. It should be called "conditional "temporary life " but instead He said In

I am an ex-Catholic i was spiritually lost until I heard and believed the message of the gospel exactly the same as what Dr. Charles Stanley preaches (it's biblical) I got regenerated -"born again" I have never been the same since. Through the work of the holy spirit He empowers me to live a Godly life in obedience to God's will. Of course I stumble from time to time..since i started my walk with the Lord I've had experienced God's chastisement upon me everytime I stepped out of His will because He loves me .I have the desire to obey Him and to live for Him not because I'm. Afraid to lose my Salvation nor I'm fearful of going to hell but because of my gratitude and love for Jesus for all that He's done for me..
If you live everyday trying all your might to please and obey God out of fear of losing your Salvation .you'll never have peace aad assurance that you gonna be on heaven ..remember we are saved by faith alone..when we put our trust in the substitionary Sacrifice of Jesus in the Calvary God counted it as our rightiousness .He sees the rightiousness of Jesus in us and not our own performance ..our performance will always fall short of His glory.
When you see professing Christians who willfully deliberately sinning against God .the question should be wether or not they are truly born again or they just backslide for a season and expect God's chastisement upon them in due time..God cannot be mocked, we'll reap what we sow in this side of heaven and our eternal reward in heaven .
