These sermons have so much wisdom. You can sit in church for years and not understand the truth of standing in Faith by the power of the Holy Spirit. That means not living in sin with addictions, and sexual sins. You must live a holy life to be a witness. You must walk in faith, not under guilt and shame.

I was a personal trainer for years .. I think how awesome it would been to be Charles trainer and get to talk about the Lord with him during training sessions
I dealt with depression and now deal with anxiety. In fact I believe and know God delivered me from depression. Now it is the deliverance from the spirit of fear I need. Pray against the spirit of fear. Find scriptures about anxiety, fear, and depression and read how God wants to deliver you or how he has delivered others or helped them through. David dealt with depression. And there are plenty of others. God also tells us to give Him our worries and cares for He cares about us. *Learn to take every thought captive. Our mind is a battlefield. We need to change what is on our mental tape and challenge and discipline thoughts that do not line up with the will, Word and promises of God. This is hard to do but with practice and God's faithfulness and grace, we can overcome. I am learning this now too. *Learn to surrender to God and trust Him. Working on this too. But read scriptures on surrender and how good God is. *Dont fight the anxiety. It makes things worse. Once you are calmed down a bit pray, worship God (you can do this as best as you can function thru the anxiety attacks), journal, watch something funny or inspirational. *Get therapy and embark on a healing journey. *Pray against strongholds and generational curses with the Word of God. *Be patient with yourself and know that anxiety and depression are not your identity. *Live. Help others. Laugh. Come out your comfort zone. Fellowship with other believers. Etc. God bless you and I thank God in advance for your testimony, healing, and deliverance. I thank God in advance for my continual healing also. In Jesus' name, amen.
You pray for the Lord to help and deliver you He has heard instantly. Jesus always tells the people who comes to Him believe as your faith. You stand on the word of God says and say yes to it. Philippians 4:6 you say it every day. Mark 11:22-24

Love Dr Stanley's sound teaching. Have listened to him for years. Attended 1st Baptist when I was transferred to Altanta. He was in Miami many, many years ago. I admired his conservative stance when President of the So Baptist Convention. How unfortunate his marriage to Anna, a gifted Bible teacher to women, disintegrated after 40 years. Being married to the church vs his wife (marriage is a covenant; picture of relationship of Christ & the church) is part of his legacy. Although Dr Stanley said he would step down from the pulpit if he ever divorced, he didn't keep his word. His teaching & tone softened after that. God still used him greatly. Dr Stanley had a tough childhood as did many of us, yet we stayed true to our marriage covenant vows until death do us part. Perhaps that was the wrong decision since it took a huge toll on our sanity. Evangelist Billy & Nell Sunday lost their own kids while serving God. A.W. Tozer & many others neglected their wives & kids. Evangelist Billy Graham said that his biggest regret in life was not spending more time with his family. Wife Ruth held their family together. His family has had serious issues. Perhaps daughter Evangelist Anne Graham Lotz is the exception. The Bible is full of examples of men (and women) who failed in some area of their lives. All men (and women) have feet of clay. May God forgive us/me. Thankfully, God forgives if we/I repent!

I became a Christian in 1990. I became very skeptical about which preachers were true men of God and which ones were obviously not especially on television.. But that said Charles Stanley is 100% a man of God he is amazing And his teachings will change your life and bring you closer to Jesus! Through all my journeys in life complete with the UPS and Downs there was always Charles teaching on the radio or on television and I'm so thankful to this day. You can't believe, listen to or trust everyone, but you can always trust Charles .
thank you Dr. Stanley. today U taught me to let go, one of my kids has schizophrenia due to drugs destroying his brain n it is so hard to watch him make horrible choices in life causing each day of survival to be harder to struggle through. he mostly stopped the drugs but its too late for his brain n he doesnt think he needs medical help for his mental health. there hasn;t been in any positive outcomes for him in the past 2 years. hes homeless along with many others. I pray but nothing changes and I wondered why. This lesson helped me see what I am doing wrong. I need to let go and let God. Thank u.

Love Dr Stanley's sound teaching. Have listened to him for years. Attended 1st Baptist when I was transferred to Altanta. He was in Miami many, many years ago. I admired his conservative stance when President of the So Baptist Convention.
How unfortunate his marriage to Anna, a gifted Bible teacher to women, disintegrated after 40 years. Being married to the church vs his wife (marriage is a covenant; picture of relationship of Christ & the church) is part of his legacy. Although Dr Stanley said he would step down from the pulpit if he ever divorced, he didn't keep his word. His teaching & tone softened after that.
God still used him greatly.
Dr Stanley had a tough childhood as did many of us, yet we stayed true to our marriage covenant vows until death do us part. Perhaps that was the wrong decision since it took a huge toll on our sanity.
Evangelist Billy & Nell Sunday lost their own kids while serving God. A.W. Tozer & many others neglected their wives & kids.
Evangelist Billy Graham said that his biggest regret in life was not spending more time with his family. Wife Ruth held their family together. His family has had serious issues. Perhaps daughter Evangelist Anne Graham Lotz is the exception.
The Bible is full of examples of men (and women) who failed in some area of their lives. All men (and women) have feet of clay.

I became a Christian in 1990. I became very skeptical about which preachers were true men of God and which ones were obviously not especially on television.. But that said Charles Stanley is 100% a man of God he is amazing And his teachings will change your life and bring you closer to Jesus! Through all my journeys in life complete with the UPS and Downs there was always Charles teaching on the radio or on television and I'm so thankful to this day. You can't believe, listen to or trust everyone, but you can always

thank you Dr. Stanley. today U taught me to let go, one of my kids has schizophrenia due to drugs destroying his brain n it is so hard to watch him make horrible choices in life causing each day of survival to be harder to struggle through. he mostly stopped the drugs but its too late for his brain n he doesnt think he needs medical help for his mental health. there hasn;t been in any positive outcomes for him in the past 2 years. hes homeless along with many others. I pray but nothing changes and I wondered why. This lesson helped me see what I am doing wrong. I need to let go and let God. Thank u.
God blessed my life with sermons on His mighty Word by Pastors Stanley and Criswell since 1982. Praise God for His love and blessing!
