I aways find it interesting how much these guys talk about wanting to be "busy" I know I have a good business when I have little to do, and still make money!
Great advice given to Craig. He appear's to have took onboard the advice you gave. I really hope he put's in place many of your suggestions and take his business to the next level. 👍👍
If you can get a bank loan it will work better for you. Prep well we always aim to sell the car to the first customer who views it. Customers will appreciate your professionalism. It’s always rewarding when a customer states how your cars a lot tidier than other dealers.
The vids are coming at us fast this week it seems. Really interesting, advice offered to your man. I’ve had a couple of jaw dropping reactions ( putting it politely) from a couple of garages/car dealers, this year. One hilarious guy in Yorkshire was so unhelpful, it was like a Basil Fawlty sketch! What ive gotten from you guys is a level of understanding from a dealer perspective, and I feel like with more knowledge of what you are doing actually helps. I’m off to look at something tomorrow and have had a really good interaction with a guy three or four hours away. It’s a certain marque, that is not that popular in the UK. But I had them as a second vehicle for many years On the walk around videos it’s a massive bonus for a buyers.
Hello from Ireland, Joe. Great Podcast as always 👏 👏👌. I can't help thinking, about all the Cars you buy from your Website, you get a lot of cars through Subscribers. Even some idiot from Ireland wants to buy a car from you, lol. Cash flow is a big problem. You were broke last week, Joe, and the next minute you were flush, again. And off to meet the Lads at that G3 auction and Podcast. Mike Brewer is trotting far behind you, lol. Great video bro. 🙏🙏👌👍👏👏👏👏👏👏

A lot people can make money in a busy market. But can you make money in a down turn. We seen this in the last property crash in 2007/8. Many "would be property developers" could not make it work when prices started to drop. We did very well in 2007/8/9/and 10. Because we had a different business model than most...
Gents the link to SVS website brings up another SVS in Manchester. Interesting chat. For me it boils down to either find a niche or get into some volume and overall have a plan and a process (and stick to both!).
@@RealTorquePodcast the Scottish guy .. you gotta have charisma to sell …. And charm ! Joe and Dave are both Characteristic and charming and I think this has aided their careers !
Got 6 cars but hasn’t got time To valet customers cars he’s the issue social media and so on is time consuming yeah but uv only 6 cars and that’s ur only commitment
Why is having an autotrader package better than just pay as you go with Autotrader? Ok you get the retail rating but I already know fiestas, aygos etc at great sellers so I don’t need AT intel to know that. Does paying £700 pm on a package get you greater visibility or something? Thanks in advance!
You do get some extras like a link to your other stock, that is in your AT showroom but not actually being advertised. You can also use the ad slots as much as you want, so as one sells, you replace it with another car. The data is a big part
@@michaellucey6998 it was this morning when the video was released as it linked to a website for a company named SVS in Cheatham Manchester. Happily this ‘error’ has now been rectified.
Dave said in a previous video that he was making a serious money fixing and selling "red" cars (taking a risk) with something wrong with them. Why does he not return to that as his prime business to help build the bit of the business he is interested in.
Autotrader make more than you do what a statement! wake up and stop giving them money This poor bloke from Scotland you can see hes struggling financially and paying £700 a month isnt going to happen

This channel is sponsored to by Autotrader!! Always remember in car sales, Turnover is vanity Net profit is reality...
That statement is true of any business not just car sales

No Subtitles!! 😅
Only 30 mins outside of Edinburgh, potential goldmine there if you can figure out what sells in the area.
My problem with Facebook is trying to work out who is a genuine seller and who is a scammer!
Yes, Facebook has gone very bad, with scammers 😮😮
So easy to tell who the scammers are !

Just a quick comment to say that the link to Craig’s business in your information below the video is wrong.
No it isn’t

It was when the video was posted. It linked to a website for a car firm in Manchester. Good to see it was altered quickly.

Six cars in stock is not a (full time) business and doesn’t warrant premises
