- The Audi A5 Sportback is officially on sale in Malaysia. Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with 252hp and 370Nm plus Quattro all-wheel drive as standard, the fully-imported A5 Sportback hits the road at just RM10k more than the similarly-new BMW 330i G20, and it is theoretically a higher-segment product.
In the second of a two-part video, I test drive the A5 Sportback in the presence of Bobby, HP, and Brian. Exterior and interior Walkaround was published earlier in Part 1.

It is a good car, my Dad drives this car from Singapore (bought it in Jan 2018 switched from an 8 year old Audi A4) back to Kajang/Semenyih (for CNY and usual family visits) took Lekas after exiting NS Highway via Nilai and went "60". Even though it is a two wheel drive version, it sits nicely.
He is enjoying his A5 Sportback very much.
The virtual cockpit is what makes him feel younger than ever.... and the map is easier to look at for people who has "Lao Hua Yan".
The BMW 3 Series hands down , long live proper drivers car culture !

For this segment, i choose this a5 for the looks alone. But at this price point maybe i will consider bmw 520i luxury

I reckon the reasonable price of the A5 is down to the fact the car is already old and awaiting a facelift. The A4 has already gotten a thorough facelift

Side topic - Kon can do up video to comment and educate drivers making long journeys back to thier hometown. There is a debat on drivers setting up mattress with pillows inside thier MPV for thier kids to sleep during the journey.

I prefer a car that comes with safety features even its basic because all those fancy rims, bodykits, we can install outside or as an option. U can't go to brother's to install autonomous braking
This and the G20 tough choice as both are very compelling car. If I were to drive a car where I do not need to fetch anyone else and I am the only driver definitely the G20 as it is so edgy and sharp and exciting to drive. If I were to have fetch my family around then definitely the A5 as it gives the more "atas" feel :)

I agree that the A5 Sportback is competitively priced. The CBU BMW 430i GC is priced way higher than this. And has similar spec. And the other rival is the Kia Stinger. Which is cheaper (for the 2.0 turbo model). The 3.3 Stinger is more expensive of course. Talking about the Stinger, have only seen it once on our roads, and yes it had Malaysian plates. Is the Stinger already here or is nobody buying them?
I bought one. It has a Malaysian plate. Agree with you Kia Stinger is another competitor. It's an extremely capable GT car
@@metallutca congrats for getting the Stinger. Beautiful car. Better looking than even the Panamera and new CLS (to my eyes anyway). Haha. Bobby should contact you for a review. The Stinger is so rare.
@@lagibizar thank you! Best car decision in my life. Not super expensive, but has all the continental/germanic feel. Technologically modern but has a more analogue feel to the execution, which I prefer compared to super techy new cars nowadays. Well, if Bobby is coming to Sarawak, I'd be happy to let him review the car :)

I will go for the fully loaded one cause body kit and stuff don't do much to the car
For me the perfect car with a decent price to spec ratio is the E350 (still waiting for review ) .
Comes with all the bells and whistles plus AMG body kit with night package.

Devaluation of rm and factor inflation
The pliancy of F30 330i/e is better as it has the real ‘adaptive suspension’ while the newly launched g20 330i here in MY doesn’t have it.
Yew Kan Kong 330e doesn’t have adaptive M sport suspension. That was only on the short lived 330i M sport
Duane Yeoh oooh F30 330i suspension is good with the adaptive. Tot 330e has it. How’s 330e’s ?
Yew Kan Kong never had the chance to try the F30 adaptive suspension, I only sampled the passive M sport and non M sport suspension on the F30.
G30 I’ve tried with the adaptive suspension, it has that magic carpet ride Bobby talks about.
Duane Yeoh My 330i MSport with the adaptive suspension is good. I wouldn’t have considered it without the adaptive suspension. Tested the G20, it’s not an everyday car with that suspension.
@@kyewkan Agreed, I was shocked at the firmness of the G20. It's more sports car than luxury sedan. It would have been nice if they put in adaptive suspension to get the best of both worlds, like the G30 530i

I prefer this spec instate of audi bring all in spec with almost rm400k price. If almost rm400k i think i cannot able to buy it already. The price is just ok. The most important for me only quattro. Others not important 😂
