Beginner stick / TIG welding project - DEAD BLOW HAMMER BUILD FROM SKETCH

This is how I made four dead blow hammers out of some 1" steel pipe.
This can be seen as some kind of an beginner project, although it's not a super easy one! Welding tubes with this small diameter can be very tricky. So take your time and practise.
As shown you can use stickwelding (SMAW / 111) as well as TIG (141) to weld these tubes.
I used my KEMPPI Minarc 180 evo.
I ran these 3,2mm rutile/basic 7016 rods at about 110amps DCEP.
In the TIG process I used 100amps.
As you can see the penetration in both processes is very good. Although you should use shielding gas on the inside of the pipe, I think that really doesn't hit the point of having a fun project to practise on.
