First! Edit after watching: Thanks for the honest review and especially for the Return of Investment part. I think that's something that's largely overlooked and often not mentioned very often!
Hello Piet, I was watching you for the first time today and noticed what looks like plywood in the background. In some countries, these have carcinogenic (cancer-causing) chemicals in them and are not supposed to be used in sleeping quarters. I don't know if this would be the case for you, but I wanted to tell you just in case because I liked your video and want you to keep making more! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Another great video from this hidden gem channel 👍🏼 Die Energie Preise hier in den USA sind zum Glück so niedrig, weil die Häuser alle aus Pappe gebaut sind und wir permanent die Klimaanlage und elektrische Heizung laufen lassen müssen :( Super Videos; weiter so und grüße vom ehemaligen Braunschweiger aus den USA :)
Thanks for the video, it's informative. I do have a question. At some point (around 9:20 min) you said that you printed at 45°C. You were also reading the temperature from the Glacier plate column instead of the Frostbite, which is only 30-50°C instead of 45-55°C. Did you get the Frostbite plate or the Glacier one? They do mention that Glacier is not as good as Frostbite for PLA and PETG, on that paper. Mine is Frostbite and looks like yours, saying PLA and PETG only, and the temperatures are printed on it. In the Bambu studio if you select the new build plate the default is also 45°C. First thing I did in all the PLA filaments I use is to set the default temperature to 35°C from 45°C. I had no issues printing at this temperature. I also think it will save more energy than setting it at 45°C. So around 50% energy saved seems to be a good estimate. Thanks again!
Piet, nice video again, but (it’s a hopefully helpful “but” 😊 ) you seem to have somehow carried over the chapter time bookmarks from your exhibition visit video! No airless basketballs or shoes in this one… See, someone reads your Description section!

Thank you! I really do think it can make sense for a printfam, but specially with cheap energy prices, you need to print a lot😅
Nice review. Just got my 310x315 glacier. It wasn't completely smooth got some texture and stiffer than a normal PEI spring sheet.
Great video, I've never had a 3d printer but now I want one. First I must think of something I need to print.
😄 for me it really makes sense as soon you can create your own things for your specific needs ✌🏼
Thank you for sharing your results. I'm not going to replace anything until I need to, as my A1 is also running perfectly.
👍🏽

The print used 200Wh (Whatt-hours, not Watts!)

Haha danke dir!

Lidl the store now that is funny!
+1 point
😂😂😂
Nice test. How many hours did the 213wh can take to print?
They took all 2:04 hours✌🏼 there was no time saving in any of them.
Thank you!
Hey Piet, verstehe ich das richtig: BIQU Panda BuildPlate CryoGrip Pro hat die gleiche Funktion wie Bambus Super Tack?

@ Danke. Genau die Infos habe ich gebraucht ❤️
@ wenn du noch mehr Fragen hast kannst du jederzeit fragen✌🏼 habe auch alle Platten verlinkt :)
