This is crazy how easy it is to create cool sounds with this technique. So check it out. Basically generating ideas using only your mind can be sometimes a fruitless experience, because you can only come up with so many ideas and the mind is very limited in that regard. But the trick is to not rely on your mind so much and learn how to GENERATE ideas mechanically. With this trick you don't even need to learn much as it's incredibly simple that I even feel guilty for using it.

Also something to get very random sounds(if you have KHS Gate which is free) is to use the flip mode so it isolates bits of audio that doesn't reach the threshold of the gate. Follow this up with phat racks and other effects and you'll get some really strange rhythms and sounds which you can bounce to audio for later use.

I love doing this for bass music. Baby Audio's Spaced Out has some nice randomness too, and cranking all of this stuff stacked through PaulXstretch can give some crazy, often spooky ambience.
I LOVE what's just kinda out there in the aether. When I was much worse I felt bad relying on luck and haphazard accidents that worked out, but now they just feel so amazing.
That continuous back and forth between intentional work and happenstance is what really gets me in the flow, making music is like therapy when you get in the zone.
Also, if I had a penny for every time I went ''Ohh yeah, why didn't I buy that again? Right, that's why'', I could actually buy Pitchmap.

For effects and ear candy’s, but for midi I like to automate and adjust any effect, this is good but adjusting presets or use basic effects to modulate your sound

when you have ADHD, and you close your eyes and you like try to relax, your mind can suggest some pretty wild ideas I'll tell you that, many of them Ive never heard of, maybe it is a sum of all knowledge and influences but I can tell that my ADHD is pretty amazing in terms of creativity if used properly
We call a similar technique a "mudpie" - loop a held note for like a bar (or make a pattern you like), then just jam through presets and FX turning all the knobs and pushing all the buttons and record the output for a few minutes, then go back through and chop out all the good bits
Taking this from a Dr. Ozi video(btw subscribe to him and Oversampled)- you can also macro knobs in an instrument or effect rack and then use the random button to randomize the positions of macro'd knobs. Also I would link the random button to a key on your keyboard so you can randomize on the fly while recording.
Dang. You've just discovered a trick of mine.Down to using Pitch map at the end, if pitching get's a bit to random. Although with me there's slightly more intention behind it, in that I'll use melodies and basslines I've created previously or chord progressions/arps playing my favourite sounds. I'll also use other stuff after infiltrator, like Portal, Sand Man, Triad, etc. Slate and Ash Cycles, a Kontakt Granular instrument, is also a good companion so this sort of effects rack as is Kaleidoscope, an extremely complex tuned resonator. It's wicked for creating earcandy in already existing tunes, or for intro, breakdwons, outros, etc. I use this method a lot and have thousands of twisted sample, that I can throw into tunes, should the need arise.

I have made 100s of glitch type things with essentially what he has just stated, but without infiltrator. grabbing portal, distortions, gross beats, lfos, and shaperbox. I save the mixer preset in Fl studio, then I have 100s of those chains. I put them in a folder, and I then chain them together. So literally grabbing like 1 small transient synth that's very minimal. I mean it just doesn't stop. the chaos is crazy. Then you automate over and over again, and I make the whole track have rhythm without adding drums, then I add the drums
I downloaded it (THE ONE) and it pops up in Ableton but cant be applied to any tracks? anyone know why?
i normally do the same with ds tantra 2, actually a pretty good vst with the dice aswell in it ;)

Man, Pitchmap is crazy but that price tag... Infiltrator on the other hand - probably finally gonna cop.
Pitchmap sometimes goes on sales for 99$, so I'd recommend buying it then, I got it for 399$, big regret when I saw it for 99$ 😆
I don't know if the daw you use has scripting capabilities, but I'm having fun lately using chatgpt and the bing chat for generating lua scripts and tools to use with Renoise scripting editor, generating little sound & note data manipulating scripts. Perhaps fun to look into for a next video translating a crazy idea to a script and see if it works in your daw?

Guys, who can explain to me what is the mixing of the track?
That's a broader topic, but on a surface level it means adjusting all the elements in a song to not collide with each other frequency wise and stereo wise. So giving each instrument it's own place in the mix. That's done with adjusting the volume, using EQ, panning, mid/side EQing.
