Hey, I'm getting into skull carving but I'm a bit concerned about getting HAVS (Hand arm vibration syndrome). How do you deal with being safe from this, any tips?
I am not a doctor but I don't think this is a huge concern with smaller rotary tools like a Dremel as they don't vibrate like a drill, chainsaw, etc. I do know sometimes people do not insert burrs properly and that can cause it to vibrate. The burr should stick out of the chuck about 1/2 inch. If you have it sticking out further it can start to vibrate.
Please help me, i have a cat skull and i soaked it in lime water (CaOH2) to macerate it in 6 days. And it started appearing green spots on my skull😢. I think it's stained.what should i do next ?😭.the skull is still not fresh-free yet.
@@usskullhunter aw man, that sucks. Normal respirators are such a hassle to put on and off. And you’re right about the beard, I always look like a mess when I take my mask off 😅

Very nice tutorial! That burr really does create that floating effect. Very cool!
Thanks Stephen!
Awesome demonstration. I'm so happy to see your videos showing up again. I will definitely be purchasing the feather tutorial.
Thanks! I finally have a workspace again so I can make videos :)

Amazing what you do, Hi from Nicaragua
Thank you!
Slightly off topic but I can not find the Resp-O-Rator. You always recommend can you send me a link please?
This is great! Thanks for another awesome tutorial. Do you buy the tips in this video all separately, or do you have a recommended kit? Thanks man!
Thanks Justin. I haven't seen a kit for the diamond disc burrs so yeah you just have to buy them separately.
Nice work! What kind of mask are you using?
Hi Hunter, I'm starting my adventure with carving bone jewelry. Can you recommend what tools I should start with?
Hey Anna! Take a look at this video and let me know th-cam.com/video/pPmTwl_yM_E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=enO5fToiduk0mmie
The guide on Esty says it’s no longer available for the feather technique. Could you please advise how I can obtain a copy.
Ah you are right. Just fixed it :) www.etsy.com/listing/1620656662/bone-carving-tutorial-and-video-feather
What do you use to sand the divits out between the teeth with initial ball bit.
Just the diamond disc burrs I was using in the video.

Scrub off as much as you can. The green may lighten up as you go through the rest of the cleaning process.
I know I’m late, but does anyone know what that type of dust filter in his mouth is called?
It is a Resp-O-Rator. Unfortunately the guy who made them went out of business. Best respirator though if you have a beard!
