For some reason when duplicating the sketch fab file it creates holes even when selecting all the vertices

You could but it wouldn’t look as cool - most of what makes this effect work is the geometry overlapping in 3D. You could totally test it by making 2d versions of the instance objects and just swapping them out tho!
