Did you had to program each remote? Or did all 3 remote sync once you set 1 remote?
How do you go about adding 2 different remotes at the same time? (For the garage door specifically, don’t need the light or keypad)
Do I have this correct? I have two remotes that are programmed properly and a third that each button opens both doors (which I don’t want). In order to get that third remote to function correctly, I need to use the yellow button (on both motor heads) to reset all and reprogram all, including the keypad to work properly, correct?

Moving to a new house with a 2 door garage, when doing this does it reprogram both garage door openers or it just work for one unit and you have to repeat the same process for the other unit?
It will just add the new one and the old one usually continues to already be programmed
The question that I have is by doing what you showed in the video does that change the frequency of the original remote what happened in my situation is one of my garage door remotes is missing I'd like to change the frequency of the remote

What if you have a different brand remote than opener? Also I don’t have any keypad for programming, but I believe it’s all located on the openers themselves. Any suggestions?? Thanks
Josh Hill brand of remote shouldn’t matter just tap once on the learn button on back of motor than click button on remote
Yes, as wheelchair said, a universal remote should work when you push the learn button on the back of the garage door opener motor. If you can find the brand of the remote you should be able to find instructions specifically for that one on the internet
Looks easy very good instructions. I have the same setup as far as 2 door garage operating motors. How did you program the other 2 remotes the same as the first one how did you accomplish this ?

After this is down with one remote. Will the remaining remotes be erased unless programmed like the first remote?
Each time you press the learn button it allows you to add a remote BUT when you hold the learn button down too long it clears everything. You can add a remote without reprogramming everything if you press the learn button quickly
What if you want two remotes to operate the same garage door with same big button on both remotes?
That’s fine to do. Just program them each that way
Hi I have a question if you lost one of your keys and if you reprogram the remote that you have dose the other key that’s lost works or need to program it again if you find it?
I believe re-programming changes them so there isn’t one floating around that someone could use

Recently had my truck stolen with my opener inside. Does doing this procedure eliminate the possibility of using the stolen remote to open my door?
You might try this method shown on their website to clear the remote
1. Locate the LEARN button on the MyQ Control Panel.
2.Press and hold the LEARN button on the MyQ Control Panel until the LED turns off.
All previous codes are now erased. Reprogram each remote control and keypad you wish to use.

Does this work if my remote opens the neighour's door? There are no dip switches on the Liftmaster 8355 so I can't use that technique, unless I have to take off the head panel.
Hey i pulled a p0606 in my 99 gt also when i crank the engine over the theft light comes on solid. Locksmith said this was a bad pcm? Do you think i need to replace it and maybe you can offer help somehow do you have a video of that? Bless
trendy bromandolorian That is the code for computer failure. It’s failing it’s own self check. The best you can do is try to unplug the battery for a good while and try it again. The computer is located near the passenger foot area behind the right hand panel. If you buy a new one it needs to before auto or manual transmission (whichever you have)

My garage opener has no any programming button. I just yesterday ordered battery to exchange old one. Will remote garage opener work without reprogramming? Please advise.
If it’s already programmed and all you are doing is changing the battery, it should still work
Do you do the same thing the the other two remotes? So they are all programmed? Or do you just program one and they all work?!
The others also need to be programmed at the same time or they will remain not programmed as if you simply bought spare remotes

Thanks for your posting Danny. The local garage door company wants $ 150 to come out to program a second liftmaster remote control so we have a duplicate. One of our remotes works fine but the other one has an old code that was used before for the previous residents. How can I make the second remote work as good as the one I use now?

Can anyone confirm this for me- I had 1 of 2 garage door remotes stolen. I held the yellow button and cleared the remotes. Confirmed that the 1 remote I still have doesn’t open the garage door anymore. This would also mean the garage door opener stolen wouldn’t be able to open it right?
Also, Now that the remotes have been cleared, can I use the same 1 I already had and reprogram it to open the garage door? If I do this does that mean the 1 that was stolen will also be able to open the garage door again? Just really confused. Thanks anyone for your help.

how about programming for a green learn button remote? I don't have a learn button on my wall control with this set-up.
The learn button will most likely be on the garage door motor if not on the wall

I've ensured that the remote can work with this opener, but I can't seem to get the remote to operate this door like I have w/the 8500. B/c that's a different procedure. What is that procedure? Homelink will still work after reset. Just sold my car, realized that I forgot to wipe the homelink mirror, and figured it would be fairly straight forward to reset it from the garage door console itself. Apparently not the case. I've tried this reset process a few times now, it definitely resets the openers, and the keypad, but my wifes homelink mirror still works, meaning the car I just sold still works. Kind of a problem... any idea how to reset the homelink mirrors without having access to them?
I missed when you initially entered your code on the ceiling unit. Did you do that? You erased the old code but magically your wall buttons and remotes etc...learned a code.
Some models have what is called a dip switch which house you flip numbers on switches to make a code. This one does not
