Thx for bringing my attention to the right area. Oil alone did not help, the switch button was being jammed too far and stuck inside. So bending the top little plate forward a bit with needle nose plyers did the trick. A very different brand of the sprayer, but the same cheap design. Saved a working sprayer and some bucks.
Aside from the issue you had with the switch, how do you like this sprayer? The reviews on amazon seem to good to be true for such an inexpensive product. Thanks!
They are probably paid reviews 😬 The sprayer is heavy so my arm gets tired after awhile of using. Also it takes a lot of practice to not waste paint with this sprayer. Basically you have to use the right amount of pressure on the trigger to get the right amount of paint to flow. I probably won't be using this sprayer much and instead just use a brush and roller. Unless it's a job that specifically needs "spray paint" instead of brush. It's just easier to use a brush and you don't waste much paint. Also you have to clean the sprayer after each use. On the other hand, it is so cheap so you don't really lose anything by buying it. Might save you some money on cans of spray paint in the long run.
@@techtidbits7594 Awesome thanks for the response. I think I'll get it. Most of what I will use it for is finishing or painting furniture, cabinets, or other larger sized woodworking projects rather than using it to paint walls. Seems like the benefits of spraying for those projects would outweigh the negatives you outlined.
