"Isolation" Layout (Impossible Demon) - Geometry Dash

- Almost exactly 15 months after my last finished layout, I finally had the motivation to finish another, this time 3 minutes long. I tried to avoid repetition and make the gameplay and/or structuring unique throughout most of the level while utilizing every game mode, and I think I accomplished that fairly well. I did not worry much about cohesion, and sort of just made what came to my head first. Not really sure why I chose to make it humanly impossible, but maybe it's more interesting to watch I suppose. Personally, my favorite parts are the 45% spider where you can control all the platforms, and the physics-abusing robot at 56%. I took inspiration from Bloodlust, Limbo, Eudemonic, Shredder Returns, and Shukketsu. If you can find the spots where all these levels are referenced then you get a cookie.

@@zealotgamez7796 this will never be beaten. this is so much harder than any beaten level right now, and with it’s length, I do not think it is possible to be beaten, even given multiple years. it would take a player 100x more skilled than spaceuk and/or cursed to beat this imo
@@LimboByMinecraft You don't have to tell me, 98-100 alone is literally one of the most inconsistent things ever (I fluked it in 30 attempts then couldn't do it after another 350), and 360fps frame perfects (or close) are just scattered throughout the level. The most consistent part is the ball part just before the whole area shrinks to a 1 space, and that's still stupidly difficult

This is an amazing layout, impossible or not. Theres so much original ideas that could fit very well in a normal extreme. I especially like the ball at 0:58 with platforms constantly moving in and out, as well as the part at 1:17 with the different orbs locking to player X, as well as the 5x and 6x speed at the final part, which arent seen much in the typical extreme.

This is by far the best level I've seen in a while. You can tell which song is going to play on the first seconds, the gameplay is hard af, but it seems fun! I can't wait to see the deco!

Damn, this actually looks good. And I’m not talking about 5 year old good, I actually have experience considering I’ve played this game since the beginning of 2.1 (I was like 7 idk) and I am close to beating Nhelv. Considering I have this much experience, I have never seen a layout that appealed to me so much. To me, this looks better than Sr Guillester’s layouts which is an amazing achievement. You should get this decorated and play tested and then give it to Zoink idk. Anyways, it’s your layout, do whatever you want. But just know, you have some real talent at creating gameplay.
