I know this is extremely late, but it’s because of mega pinsirs ability, which makes normal type moves flying type moves, which are super effective against the part fighting type, marshadow.
Like srly Marshadow is yes broken i tried using a life orb Marshadow and its just unstoppable i mean it lost if it meets the wrong pokemon to battle but yeah my set is: Spectral thief (that move its just beautiful), Close combat (strong fighting type move), power up punch (i mean its not that usefull but hey it gives one attack), and shadow sneak (for a priority move) so technically almost like you but the diffrence is just the ice punch

Not my manaphy cause it's nature makes it faster and it's ev trained in speed so you have to have a really fast pokemon to beat it if you survive it before it one shots you

You should replace Ice Punch with rock tomb on Marshadow, it gets the technician boost. And 100% speed lower

Marshadow is easy to beat for me all I need to do is use mega Salamence and return marshadow. Yes it’s that easy
Return is an normal move it doesnt effect marshadow cuz its ghost and marshadow has ice punch

aden12131 that's a really bad set. If you swagger, especially in gen 7 since the hit yourself chance has gone down, you'll likely he ohkod
