      Many thanks for commenting. I was so annoyed that my recorder packed in the day before this recording! But at least I still got this snippet. Yes, this was a great piece to play on this organ, jumping between the keyboards all the way through. I'll just have to nip back some day and record it properly ...

    Well, Stephen outdid himself with the videography here! Tubas are always the crowning glory of a fabulous organ (more hurricane than breeze) . . . but I've never seen them make such an impression when it comes to the zoom in and out feature on a camera! (Fortunately, I got used to seeing you at ninety degrees in the Pasini, so I was immune to your gymnastics in this upload!). Nevertheless - a really wonderful sound: B R A V O !

      This was a lovely example of the earlier sort of Tuba - not quite what I was expecting but all the more interesting for that. It was a shame to capture just a couple of snippets of this piece on the recording - I'd mugged it up specifically to play on this organ. Maybe I'll have to go back to record the whole piece ...
