When I first got my Nintendo switch, the 1st EVER game I bought and played was "Little Nightmares". I highly recommend it! There are no jumpscares, it's more creepy than scary. I really think you'll enjoy it!
Some cozy games you might like: The last Campfire, Shape of the world, Sky: Children of the Light (it's a free game), Captain Toad, Ni No Kuni and lastly Breath of the Wild (I think it has similarities with your take on Skyrim: you can simply wander and enjoy the world, avoiding fights here and there). I'm looking forward to the release of Hoa (a Vietnamese game).
Loved this video! You have such a cool vibe. I'd recommend Jenny LeClue Detectivu for you! If you like Agatha Christie and Nancy Drew type mystery stories then you'll like Jenny LeClue too! It's one of my favorites
This list is not completely what I was expecting, it's a pretty good list. Thank you for sharing it and hope to see more recommendations. I enjoy a good visual novel, the Famicom Detective club games are pretty good and would recommend if you're interested in getting into visual novels.
This is extremely well said. This video showed up in my recs, I checked it out, and immediately subscribed and watched the other available videos and basked in the abundance of cozy.
I have been playing Cozy Grove for a couple of months now, and have played New Horizons for almost a year. Personally I find Cozy Grove much better, and I can assure you that it is amazing. The music is beautiful, and the game is quirky and adorable!
I would recommend as well A short hike. Siper cute and relaxing. Super Mario Sunshine also has a certain cozy feeling, but in a tropical settings. And finally, haven't played it yet but Alba: a wildlife adventure seems to a super cozy Mediterranean vive game.
Love this. Glad to know I'm not alone in loving Spyro and also feeling rage with some of it. LOL. Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and Tekken 3 (on PS1) were some of the games that originally got me into video games as a child so they hold a special place in my heart. Being able to enjoy Crash and Spyro in handheld has been amazing!
I would recommend littlewood and rune factory 4 too. I'm looking forward to kitaria fables, monster hunter stories, and monster harvest right now. Also for your love of board games I recommend billion road.
I love Cozy Grove so much! I’ve been playing it for around 2 weeks now, and I’m seriously in love with the handmade look, the music, the slightly spooky atmosphere, and with the characters. It really does let me chill and do things at my own pace, which is honestly the kind of game I like. I also like more frenzied games, but these days I’ll be more into games I can relax with.
Another transplanted American in Scotland here...I LOVE Cozy Grove. I think it’s very different from ACNH actually but I love it. I find it more relaxing than acnh. - there’s no pressure to have a beautifully composed island, you jus have to do tasks for ghosts but they aren’t timed or anything. There are decoration aspects of it but the world is so beautiful on its own that I’ve kind of ignored that aspect. I recently got into stardew valley and now I’ve figured it out I’m loving that too (I’m also not a childhood gamer). Other games I want to play that you haven’t mentioned: Pikman 3 (love the demo), Luigi’s Mansion, Pokémon Snap, and Harry Potter LEGO world
I love your video! I love cozy games, especially farming sims! Story of Seasons Doraemon is incredibly adorable and often on sale, the art style is like water color and the sound track is beautiful! Stardew Valley seems like something you need to try if you haven't already!! I also suggest Forager as a really addicting task management game :)
truuue skyrim is such a cozy game depending on how you play it, i did not finish the main story simply because i like going around collecting plants and discovering new potions
I love Spyro! The Spyro games have always been in my life. I remember watching my mother play them on the PlayStation all the time. I’m really glad there’s one on the Switch.
I'm slowly getting tired of Animal Crossing and in the search of new cozy games, this was so useful! I heard many people recommending both Gris and Spiritfarer. I would recommend you Stardew Valley, Cattails, Ender Lilies, Wingspan and Voez! Stardew Valley: farming sim, so cute and cozy! Cattails: like a Stardew Valley of cats haha Ender Lilies: platform game, you fight some souls and purify them, and learn about the villagers stories Wingspan: the digital version of a board game about birds, the art is so beautiful Voez: a really pretty rhythm game, and also has a story, really relaxing to play!
I love Spiritfarer, it's my favourite game! Second favourite is Stardew Valley, which I highly recommend to anyone who likes cozy games/farming simulators!
Had your video recommend by TH-cam and as a fellow Scot and switch lover I had to watch. Cozygrove is beautiful you will love it. My recommendation would Firewatch which is currently on sale in the store for the first time until Sunday. The ABC murders is really good I played on PlayStation. And a game coming out soon and is free is Sky.
Aww, what a lovely video. So thankful that TH-cam recommend your channel to me. Spyro is the best! :) And Skyrim! Heck yessss. You're a beautiful faerie; I bask in your glow.
Ok so I don't normally comment twice on the same video but I just have to say; I recommend Stardew Valley. I know that it's really well known but honestly it's just so good!! So it's essentially a farming sim. It's super cute and calming!! I literally just bought it but I am OBSESSED already!! Baiiii🌸
I just randomly discovered your channel and when I heard Skyrim I immediately subscribed lmao. I've been playing it since the beginning of the pandemic ever since my gamer boyfriend introduced me to it and it is my fav game ever and definitely SO CHILL. With the new update, it is even better since I am a food geek and I even have the Elder Scrolls Cookbook and you can finally eat to stop hunger and sleep and wish, and ahh I just love it. :)))))
I love Little Nightmares. I played it on Xbox and didn’t want it to end. Planning on getting it and Little Nightmares part 2 on switch. I also would recommend The Wild at Heart for a cozy game.
I LOVE little nightmares, I am also a baby fetus gamer and got started with ACNH. There’s a game called Unpacking that is SO cozy, I finished it in a day I loved it so much.
I'd like to suggest Kirby star allies and Mario + Rabbids, which are rarely mentioned as cozy games. Also I'm going to try the Trine collection, usually on sale for 15 bucks - it looks like suck a beautiful puzzle/platform quartet of games.
I always recommend Florence and Donut County to new players. I suppose they're considered cozy games. I bought my friend a Switch and installed those games on it for her, along with Animal crossing of course.
if anyone wants to play a really amazing visual novel i highly recommend the house in Fata Morgana it is very sad/tragic but so nicely written and has beautiful art and great music
skyrim and spyro i’ve been playing for years ,,, same as my family. all my family agrees skyrim is relaxing.. and spyro they can’t remember bcs it used to be on our ps3 haha. but i will agree yes it is cozy
I'm surprised you didn't mention stardew valley! Personally, I'm excited for "Sun Haven". It mixes farming sim with more rpg elements. The trailer makes it look way more fun than stardew valley I think. It's out on PC now, and should be on the switch in a few months. That's their goal at least.
Omg! Same! I'm so glad people are talking about Sun Haven, it looks so good! Have you seen anything about Kitaria Fables? I've pre-ordered it, it comes out Sept. 8th! It looks like a mash-up of Fable and Animal Crossing to me and I'm counting down the days!
I clicked on this thinking you was British! I see you have a beatrix potter cup 🤣🤦🏻♀️ we got married in the Lakes where Beatrix was from and wrote all her stories. X
There are some free to play games on the switch but I'm not sure which require the online subscription. If you have the subscription I think most of the kirby games for s/nes qualify as cozy. One of the free to play games is supposed to be part of the elder scrolls series too. The pokemon cafe and Pokemon quest are pretty cozy and I don't think they require online membership.
I highly recommend mario odyssey, never played a mario game before that. There is so many little details and stars to collect. The worlds are beautiful
I love the looks of the games Spyro, Spirit Farer and Gris, but I am upset that all these great peaceful games don’t have more adult art styles and themes, eg. Like the visual art movements of Realism, Romanticism, Hyperrealism Fantasy, Expressionism and High Art without propaganda. Also cozy games could have maturity level settings for vocabulary, child/adult themes, complexity of tasks, age level for visual symbolism vocabulary, etc. Why should children’s games be all simple and sugar coated and why should adult games be all violence or sex and the only ones with superb graphics?
You should absolutely try: - Fire emblem three houses - Luigi’s Mansion - Pokèmon Sword/Shield or wait for the remakes of diamond and Pearl - stardew valley - Splatoon - Ni no kuni - miitopia - the legend of Zelda breath of the wild (you can ride horses and it’s so relaxing) Edit: I forgot Rune Factory
So glad this was suggested to me!! Always love finding more cozy gamers
Thank you!!
This was first in my list of suggestions today too Ken, haha... the algorithm worked very nicely on this one!
SO refreshing to hear from someone who's new to gaming! I did not grow up with video games either and appreciate this perspective :)
That’s really informative for indie game developers like us. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about games. Have a great day and stay safe. ~JannerBros
I would recommend Ni No Kuni! The graphics were done by Studio Ghibli so the game is quite beautiful ☺️
Loved it
Yes, the second one is coming out soon! I need to finish the first tho
It has a discount right now!
Well in Belgium it does anyway!
It’s been on my list! I loved the movie.
I love ur background SLAY

I recommend Unravel 2. It's an amazing physics-based puzzle/platformer game. It has a beautiful world to explore, and it's so cute!
Love this. Glad to know I'm not alone in loving Spyro and also feeling rage with some of it. LOL. Haven Park is adorable and fantastic and I cannot recommend it enough!
GET STARTED ON COZY GROVE. ITS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE GAME 😩😩
I would recommend littlewood and rune factory 4 too. I'm looking forward to kitaria fables, monster hunter stories, and monster harvest right now. Also for your love of board games I recommend billion road.
I love all of your recommendations!!
It's great to see a TH-camr from my own country!!
Stay safe

SPYRO! love to see them listed on a favorites list

Skyrim is def a very cozy game.
The music is so relaxing. And just walking around the world killing things.
Nothing more relaxing then that
I suggest the long dark and also coffee talk, very relaxing games.
Awesome Video!
I just finished Coffee Talk and loved it so much!
Anything Story of Seasons. (I have a grudge against Natsume's Harvest Moon). The Doraemon Story of Seasos is so cozy. 🥰
A cozy fall game that I recommend is Night in the woods.
I'll definitely keep my eye out for that one!
you have such a nice voice it is so relaxing to listen to you talk
I love your video! I love cozy games, especially farming sims! Story of Seasons Doraemon is incredibly adorable and often on sale, the art style is like water color and the sound track is beautiful! truuue skyrim is such a cozy game depending on how you play it, i did not finish the main story simply because i like going around collecting plants and discovering new potions
Definitely recommend Tangled Tower! It's a little spooky but the voice acting keeps it light. It's a point and click puzzle mystery.
I love Spyro! The Spyro games have always been in my life. I remember watching my mother play them on the PlayStation all the time. I’m really glad there’s one on the Switch.
I love cozy gamesss
I'm slowly getting tired of Animal Crossing and in the search of new cozy games, this was so useful! I heard many people recommending both Gris and Spiritfarer.

You have to try Stardew Valley!
This video is great, the list is great. I'm specially interested in spiritfarer. Please make another one like this :) You just won a subscriber
It is very good! Cheap and many hours of gameplay, I spend like 60 hours in the game
I love Spiritfarer, it's my favourite game! Second favourite is Stardew Valley, which I highly recommend to anyone who likes cozy games/farming simulators!

Thank you! My dress is from Miss Patina :)

Loved this video and the cozy vibes! Would love to watch the cozy gameplay too! Just subscribed :)
Oh my goodness thank you so much! Working on getting some game play videos going ;)
I've heard several games pronounce it grease. As a southerner in the US, I would pronounce it Gree, A French Cajun / voodoo term
Ok so I don't normally comment twice on the same video but I just have to say;
I recommend Stardew Valley. I know that it's really well known but honestly it's just so good!!

I've just started Stardew Valley and it's sooo calming! I can't believe I've never played this before...
I love the ABC Murders, although it takes some little grey cells it is so cozy 🤎

I think Breath of The Wild is a good cozy game because, like skyrim, you can just explore. And the game is so much more beautiful.

Handheld!
I love Spyro, but it’s definitely not a cozy game for me! Lol. It’s too tricky and puzzley and at times super challenging.
I definitely feel that too! It really deoends on my mood, haha!
I clicked on this thinking you was British! I see you have a beatrix potter cup 🤣🤦🏻♀️ we got married in the Lakes where Beatrix was from and wrote all her stories. X
Lol no I'm not but I do live in Scotland xx
What a lovely story! I can't wait to go to the Lakes one day and visit her homestead :)
@@TheLassinLinen you can visit her cottage and then in windermere there is a museum. Definitely worth a visit 🥰

Gris is pronounced Gree, like you said it but without pronouncing the S. It's a French word, it means grey, like the colour ^.^
I highly recommend mario odyssey, never played a mario game before that. There is so many little details and stars to collect. The worlds are beautiful
hahah I swear Me too i'd go to the grave skyrim is my cozy game
Ah yes, every road leads to Skyrim

To The Moon -however make sure you have a box of Kleenex!
Such a sweet and chill vibe! What a lovely video, thank you for sharing 💜
Edit: SKYRIM IS HERE? Can we be best friends please? 😩
Spyro I would consider a more cozy game than crash bandicoot because I heard crash is harder than spyro
try this game called CULTIST SIMULATOR and TOWNSCAPE
I'll have a look, thanks!
Hey ! If the game "gris" is like the french word then it's pronounced like you did but without the S at the end :)
No, it's in Spanish. Gris is pronounced just like she did :)
@@martanarvaez8078 oh thanks i didn't know !
You should try Stardew valley!! It’s fantastic and inexpensive
I've just started playing recently! Really enjoying it :)
😍
If you love Animal Crossing, you will definitely love Stardew Valley!
I've just started it!

What are you drinking
You should absolutely try:
- Fire emblem three houses
- Luigi’s Mansion
- Pokèmon Sword/Shield or wait for the remakes of diamond and Pearl
- stardew valley
- Splatoon
- Ni no kuni
- miitopia
- the legend of Zelda breath of the wild (you can ride horses and it’s so relaxing)

I love fire emblem

Ni no kuni! I can't wait to get that game. I remember years ago watching gameplays of it, it's so good
