PEOPLE YOU NEED TO PLAY “GRIS” it is so beautiful, the art, the music, the story, it is one of my favorite games ever I can’t describe how incredible this game is
I had bigger expectations for Cozy Grove, it is like a mobile game almost, there is not a lot of progress and you feel kind of stuck, but really there is no rush at all for anything or no true goals it’s just there and it’s cute
Honestly same. My sister enjoyed it for the fact that she only had to play a certain amount of the day and then the game would be tell her that she could be done. I'm glad she enjoyed it and I really wanted to like it but I just had other games I'd rather play🙂
I love Coffee Talk! A narrative game where you make coffee in a fantasy world and help people feeling better. It is very complete and there's also a twist to it. There's multiple endings and everything is sooo cozy.
I would 100% recommend A Hero & A Garden, you play as a "hero" to travels to a town of monsters to rescue a princess, but wknds up destroying a garden and has to stay to fix it. Super cute, very relaxing, adorable art style, nice storytelling
games on my wishlist (so i haven’t played) that i still think you’d like!! sorry if you’ve played some already:) coffee talk, don’t starve, hoa, eastward, kitaria fables, death and taxes, garden paws, baldo the guardian owls, road 96, oceanhorn, bears restaurant, yonder, littlewood, and to the moon!! i’ll quit now but there’s so many here i think you’d love
really great recommendations ! i love little nightmares and night in the woods so much. I've also played a little bit of graveyard keeper and that was so fun too! If you're looking for a sidescrolling puzzle game that's a little darker in theme but still fun I would recommend Pinstripe has plenty of spooky vibes. It's a little on the shorter side but I still really liked the game a lot and enjoyed my time playing it. Thanks for the video!
I just started playing Graveyard Keeper and was hoping this was on your list! You never disappoint! :) I am loving it and can't believe I missed it back when it came out.
I'd recommend The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince for a spooky aesthetic but actually a very sweet wholesome game. Thanks for posting these kinds of videos! Always looking for more chill/cozy games to play.
Night in the Woods was the first game I thought of when I saw this video, so happy you included it!! What a great selection of games! If you like mystery solving games I would definitely recommend Return of the Obra Dinn if you haven't played it, that's one that really made me feel like a detective! Also I would love to see you make videos about your Oculus!
Also it's not for the Switch but it is free on Mac, PC, and Linux: Haunted Corny Maze has super cosy autumn vibes and WLW romance, it makes me so happy
Ooh, thanks for the recs! Unravel is quite similar to a lot of these, although it's not on switch. It starts off as a cosy autumn puzzle platformer but definitely gets a little darker as you go on
I believe that the second game is actually on the switch, however the first one isn't, but they may have removed it from the store so I can't be 100% certain
I have to recommend you a game that you're going to LOVE. I think it's a must for any gamer and it's very season appropriate. It's What Remains of Edith Finch, and it's a mystery in which you follow Edith to her childhood home to kind of reminisce and find out what happened to the Finches, your family, which are all dead, you're the last one (or are you?). It's an incredibly immersive story, it has various very interesting puzzles and the story is AMAZING. If you haven't played it I can't be more insistent that you should. And thank you so much for all your recommendations!!
A Short Hike is a cute little game :) the orange trees and breezy flow of flying thru the hills make for a lovely fall game!! Also Jenny LeClue and The Last Campfire!! Lvely spooky vibes games with wonderful gameplay, visuals and stories. I love Coffee Talk and yessss Night in the Woods is phenomenal
This is my first time seeing your channel. Thanks for the great recommendations! One game I recently picked up I think fits the spooky, but maybe not autumnal is The Last Campfire on the switch. I love it, much more than I anticipated. It’s a bit sad, a bit glad, and hits you right in the feels.
Oxenfree is one of those games that you can really play as many times as you want without getting bored! So much fun with great music and it's absolutely stunning as well
I DEFINITELY recommend TEACUP! I've finished it and it's extremely cosie and wholesome and the storyline made me feel so warm and happy inside, it's also about tea, cute animals, the main character is a frog, the art is gorgeous! I will endlessly scream for this game, check it out!
these all sound so fun! one of my new faves is Garden Story! you play as this little grape who is a guardian of the grove and you have to battle some creatures to keep the Rot out of the grove! it is so cute and fun!
If you liked Spiritfarer I think you would like Kitaria. In the game, you play a cat soldier and you can take requests from other villagers in the area you are protecting. There are battles between the spirits in the game, it can take a while to beat them but they aren't too hard. I got it like a month ago and only put 8 hours into it and it's fun and interesting to learn about the other villagers and collecting different items. Overall, it's a good fall game if you want cozy with a little more spice.
I recommend you play Jenny Le Clue. Its like a mystery and detective driven story and it is so fun and the story is written so well. I feel like this game is not talked about enough.
Unravel 1&2 are amazing, originally made for ps4 but the second game has also been added to switch, definetly recommend and you dont need to play the first one to understand the story of the second if you want to get it on your switch + it is also a co-op so you can play it with your friend!
I have one that fits your spooky Halloween autumn vibe. Spiritfarer, a game about traversing a spirit realm helping people move on. It's got farming, crafting, fishing, platform minigames, customizable options with your boat and clothes. You also can pet your cat and hug your friends 😭😭. Absolutely stunning, it's done by an indie company called thunderlotas and their really knocking out some beautiful profound games
Another cozy game you may want to check out that's on Switch is called Carto. The main mechanic is moving map pieces around in order to open new areas and explore.
Mutazione is absolutely AMAZING for this type of vibe. It is a story driven game that takes place on an island that was decimated by a meteor over 50 years ago, and the survivors living on this island are transformed by the radiation and all live interesting lives that you get to be a part of. While you are learning about the town, and your family's history, you start to uncover a deeper, darker mystery (similar to Oxenfree/Night in the Woods) and it had me up playing until 3 AM to uncover the ending!!! Can't recommend this high enough!!
I would totally recommend Ori and the Will'o the Wisps!! It's not directly autumnal but gives me a lot of cozy autumn vibes (especially certain areas of the map)
I’m so glad you mentioned Oxenfree! It’s all I was thinking about through this whole vid! It’s so spooky, great vibes, and such a cool concept! Highly recommend to anyone’s else reading this! Also Roki is VERY good, it’s like a point and click game with some puzzles. It has a more winter vibe because it’s set with a Scandinavian mystical winter backdrop where a young’s girls little brother is stolen by a witch? God? I can’t quite remember. But you follow them into a magical land to get him back while uncovering some of the main characters past. I wish I could relay it again for the first time!
I've just started Cosy Grove and it was the first game I thought of when I saw the title! I'm not very far in but I really like it so far, it's very chill and definitely has Halloween vibes.
New to your channel, hello! I played night in the woods two years ago after a friend recommended it to me, and it still resonates with me. Also the soundtrack is just fantastic!! Watching this has wanted me to play it through again!! I've had my eye on cosy grove for a while now, might pick it up too :D
Cozy grove is on sale where I am atm and I really want it but I have so much in my backlog! Night in the woods and little nightmares are on my list too. I love spoopy stuff.
Such lovely recommendations! I've heard about Oxenfree but this really made me go buy it right away! Also, cosy, kinda spooky games for me are rpg maker horror games! Would definitely recommend titles like Mad Father, Ib or Alice mare ❤
Amazing games choices. If you need another suggestion Lost In Random was released on the switch recently. I've been waiting till payday to get it but it gives the vibes of Coraline and Tim Burton
You should play Endling !! The demo is for free right now on steam. You play the last remaining fox on earth and have to feed your cubs. Super cute but really sad
Maybe you've already talked about it but i would also recommend garden story!! It's not spooky but it's very cozy, not to mention the characters are absolutely adorable and the soundtrack reminds me of pokemon games :)
there is a new game i recommend to ppl who like games like stardew, but with a magical twist- it's called sun haven! it's not for switch YET, it's early access on steam but it's really good !!! it's coming for switch hopefully soon :) im really enjoying it
I have a short game to recommend that might still be on sale I bought the other day. It only takes a couple hours to play but I really liked it. If you like a macabre or spooky feel, this is for you. LITTLE MISFORTUNE I really enjoyed it.
You’ve listed so many games I love on here that I feel very confident I’ll love the ones I’m not familiar with. I’ve also been craving otgw in video game format!
hii! idk if anyone has mentioned ur before but if ur looking for a spooky game to play w 100% halloweeny vibes, "Lost in Random" is the way to go. its a lovely, creepy-ish (not too much), storybased game in which u have the quest to save your sister since the evil queen took her. u have a lovely lil companion during the entire game that i dont wanna spoiler anything about 🤍🤍
My fall sorta spooky sorta cozy games: The Shapeshifting Detective - It's an FMV game and you play a shapeshifting detective where you can get different information from depending on who they think you are at the time. Crimson Spires - It's a visual novel with romance and mystery where you play a FBI agent tracking a accused serial killer. She gets trapped in this creepy little Twin Peeks esk town, also sexy vampires. I love the tough no nonsense main character and the romance options are all so different. Costume Quest - Not on Switch but it's basically Trick or Treating: The Game. It's super cute, great writing, kinda a turn based RPG but it's not too difficult. If you've got nothing to do on Halloween play this!
These are my favorite kinds of games! It’s funny that little nightmares is on the list cause that game gave me massiveeee anxiety. Definitely the exact opposite of cozy XD it’s a great game though! Need to check out the ones I haven’t played.
Yes! A video about VR please! I love VR so much and it's the perfect medium for cozy chill games (since the scary and stressful stuff is way too scary in VR). My favorites: Half+Half, Moss, Rec Room (frisbee golf game), Wolf in the walls, Crow, Luna, Falcon Age, Racoon Lagoon
thank you so much for the recomendations!! so far and from previous videos i got spiritfarer (which had me SOBBING and its become my favorite switch game), the gardens between and cozy grove, and i love all of them! i trust your taste with my life so i will check all of these out. thanks for these games, i would have never heard of them or tried them if it wasn't for you. have a nice day!
hi! I love your videos and you're super cute!😊 I would love to hear about vr games, cus I own an htc vive but I play like no games and definitely need some recommendations ❤️
Shady Part of Me is a game that feels like those scary children's Coraline type movies, the animation is incredible, the music is beautiful and I love love loved the gameplay. And it's not scary I don't think, just creepy and sort of whimsical.
sorry to comment so much but!! one last comment!! i highly, highly recommend yes your grace. it’s a choices game so there’s different outcomes, but wow. is it amazing. it’s on switch and pc. and eastshade! my favorite game of all time! so cozy and relaxing and beautiful! it’s only on pc though
I’m really surprised to see that you mentioned Inside just because when people mention cozy games it’s usually games that are more “cute.” I played inside and I really liked it because although it doesn’t necessarily fit the cozy category, something about it is relaxing 😊
Not sure if this is fixed or not, but it made me drop Little nightmares on switch. Basically load times were super long. I usually don't mind it much, but over time it became unplayable for me. If you play on pc it's working just fine tho!

I watched my bf play it!! It's SO gorgeous
Agreed

@@sushi_bunn1572 its around $13 i think, but $9 when its on sale
I got yonder but I got stuck and havent played it since :/
Road 96 was a lot of fun! I completed it twice in about 10 days cause I couldn't put it down. Definitely worth checking out!

That's my favorite game and I'm looking for something similar to play
Great video, night in the woods and oxenfree are two of my favourite games. Will have a look at graveyard keeper on payday.
ahh so glad to hear you loved them too! 💓
I love these recs! I love spooky vibes but a lot of spooky games have elements that can be too anxiety inducing! These all sound excellent!
Ooh, thanks for the recs! Unravel is quite similar to a lot of these, although it's not on switch. It starts off as a cosy autumn puzzle platformer but definitely gets a little darker as you go on

I finished the game on less than 2 hours. I loved it, wished it was way longer though
these all sound so fun! one of my new faves is Garden Story! you play as this little grape who is a guardian of the grove and you have to battle some creatures to keep the Rot out of the grove! it is so cute and fun!
One more cozy autumn game is "Seasons after fall"!!! I love this game, it's gives so much autumn vibes and is super cozy!
If you liked Spiritfarer I think you would like Kitaria. In the game, you play a cat soldier and you can take requests from other villagers in the area you are protecting. I played Oxenfree a few years ago...wow that game still blows me away!
I actually got some very cool cosy game from your last vid. Spiritfarer had me in tears!! Great content Monica
Have you tried Calico? It’s cat café game with magical themes very cute small game (:
The Room was so much fun! I played it on my phone!
I recommend you play Jenny Le Clue. Its like a mystery and detective driven story and it is so fun and the story is written so well. I feel like this game is not talked about enough.
The Longing! It is my favorite game and its so soft but also quite spooky and a little dark. its so good though and I want everyone to play it
Finding your channel has been my favorite thing in a long time

Toree 3D is good game. Is like 64 nostalgia and its spooky too but not much

Little Misfortune is a good spooky fall cozy game too! Although a bit depressing…
Cozy grove is on sale where I am atm and I really want it but I have so much in my backlog! Night in the woods and little nightmares are on my list too. I love spoopy stuff.
"it's like animal crossing minus all the things that stress me out about AC"

Little misfortune is also a really good cozy/scary game. I just completed it and it’s so good! From the same makers of Fran Bow
the sound effects in Little Misfortune are reason enough to play haha
thank you for sharing these 🥰 if you liked Inside, you might like their first game Limbo. Similar vibes and definitely recommend 😊
Highly recommend Lost in Random!
Omg! These all sound so awesome. I'm so happy that I found them on Steam because I don't have a Switch.
You should play Endling !! The demo is for free right now on steam. You play the last remaining fox on earth and have to feed your cubs. Super cute but really sad
Amazing recommendations as always! Looking forward to trying Oxenfree 😊
ohh i hope you enjoy! it’s such a cool game! 💕
Maybe you've already talked about it but i would also recommend garden story!! It's not spooky but it's very cozy, not to mention the characters are absolutely adorable and the soundtrack reminds me of pokemon games :)
there is a new game i recommend to ppl who like games like stardew, but with a magical twist- it's called sun haven! it's not for switch YET, it's early access on steam but it's really good !!! it's coming for switch hopefully soon :) im really enjoying it
i LOVE sun haven! i played as far as i could in the beta and am now impatiently waiting for more content 🥺😭

It is not on the Switch, but I definitely recommend Lake!! It is a bit short, but I loved every minute of it.
You’ve listed so many games I love on here that I feel very confident I’ll love the ones I’m not familiar with. I’ve also been craving otgw in video game format!

while i def think some cute games are cozy, i also def think eerie games can be too! it’s all about the gameplay and vibe for me 💞
Thanks for the recommendations Monica! I can always count on you for the cozy games lol 💖
Not sure if this is fixed or not, but it made me drop Little nightmares on switch. Basically load times were super long. I usually don't mind it much, but over time it became unplayable for me. If you play on pc it's working just fine tho!
it’s not on switch yet (only on steam), but OMORI is a super cute but dark game (it can get heavy though)
