Oh, that frame is so beautiful. I love the construction you did, but the artwork is what really makes it into... well, a piece of art. You guys are so courageous, the most important trait to living your dreams. Keep moving forward to create your masterpiece room. Remember a good masterpiece draws the eye all around the canvas. You use color and shape to do that. So the colors of the ceiling should be reflected in small parts inside the room. And vice versa. This will cause the eye to hit on a color in the room and then look up at the same color in the ceiling, or other parts of the room. Since orange and yellow are complimentary colors to blue, maybe you can put those colors on the ceiling. Like a light fixture or wind chimes, flags, etc. And maybe a wicker chair that is the color of the woodwork in the ceiling would help too

Wow I love this and you guys. You two remind me of my husband and I when we first started out on our journey. DIY has always been our theme, always will be. I loved how you spoke about your Grandma. Sadly, I can't see my grandma's or my great grandma, or as I called them Nanny, cherished them all. (All 3 are living in heaven with all the other angels in this wonderful world). Anyways what a great fantastic/great project, that was amazingly inspirational. Love how you two young folk spend time and create together. I love the bedframe and I think you should definitely put the sunflowers on the outside of the house as well and paint the house with gorgeous sunflower and sunrise and road all of it on the outside of your house but that’s just me🥰

Your bed frame end product looked nothing like the beginning product. So cute. And it’s so fun that you made it together. Something one of your young daughters will beg you for later.
