I first visited Southern Oregon as a member of a LE Unit that did Special Investigations into career criminals.
Having said that I visited the Bay Area, & Sacto areas way more that two cities in Oregon.
I remember speaking to a Judge aside from my reasons for being there why he was an Oregon man. He pointed to some beautiful mountains stating “ I can be skiing , fishing, hiking , or hunting in just a short juant over that way !
And I hv all I need in the cities around here.
It is beautiful and being a fly fisherman and hunter I really like Oregon. I don’t like the liberal gov views but? I am in Nor California currently under siege by one of the biggest nit-wits known to man as our State leader ? So Oregon looks good !
I would move there in a heart beat !

My home limit say $400, 000 ? Not sure if that doable or not !
All in all Oregon is beautiful & of course you’re going to hv clowns showing up looking for free handouts !
Homeless ? Not sure about that ? If you gave 90% of the homeless a home for free ? How do you think that would play out ?
No most are not ready for the real world and /or caught up in criminal activity involved around illegal controlled substances !
I do believe the recent court decision ruled you (cities / counties) in Oregon restrict camping and basically outlaw it outright on city property ?
