Crazy how brilliant & explosive George Best truly was. Explosive speed, backed up with unbelievable feet to feet ball coordinations, which allowed him to pivot defenders on a sixpence, with extraordinary balance to stay on his feet. He had such mastery of the ball on *_any_* playing surface. He could beat a sackful of defenders, without looking at the ball.
