A couple of years ago I made the switch from strong-side, IWB/OWB, 3 o’clock to 4 o’clock carry, to AIWB/AOWB carry as my primary means. Similar to your story years before that I switched my wallet carry to a front pocket as all of the miles I was driving in field service was killing my back. But I digress….. I’m a larger frame guy. 53 years old. Never thought I would be able to carry appendix due to my ‘tactical flab concealment system’, but it’s been better than I ever imagined. Better retention. More effective concealment. Ease of draw when seated, especially in a vehicle.
I just ordered a Helikon-Tex Bandicoot fanny pack with a Crossbreed modular KYDEX holster; The back panel of the fanny pack is velcro and the holster attaches directly to it at the angle of your preference. Being retired Law Enforcement and having plenty of pain issues. I have mainly been only able to pocket carry. I look forward to getting the fanny pack I ordered to give me better options to carry in a less painful or pain free manor.
I have the Voodoo Tactical Hide a Way fanny pack which is very similar to your DeSantis. Of course on body is the best way but having a solidly built fanny pack is a great way to carry. I've been to the movie theater, restaurants and nobody gave me a second look. Gr8 vid. 🔫
Sometime necessity rears up it ugly head and we have to adjust. As my back treatment progresses I had to embrace off body carry. These are the carriers is used.
Im not a fan---you have to use BOTH hands to get it out. Your left (if right handed) has to stay committed on that string instead of helping you stand steady, keep from falling, trying to block a bad guys knife etc etc etc. Better than nothing though.
Compared to on body it isnt a great compromise. But when i was in the hard part of getting my back treated, everytime i went IWB I just pushed my back back out. Now it will be used on bike rides only. My back is in pretty good shape finally.
I didnt say they hold Glocks. I said they hold Glock 19 sized pistols. So no to both guns. No to Taurus due to barrel length and no to CZ due to grip length. That said, DeSantis does make a larger Gunny Sack that will carry both.

@@BillFrady I thought the same until I ran across of videos that made me give it a try. This is one of them….

Which pistol? With this rig?
Nice Idea.I use them for Biking. Great for hiking for Back up Firearm & small gear. Will check these out. Thx.
I have a collaboration line coming out called Sheeps Clothing. I am going to cover all the shortcomings in CCW bags when those come out.

Thank you sir. I actually tried to find that one, but so far no luck.

I still use my Glaco waist pack from 2010. I’ll buy the fast track when it shows some tears. Still going strong.
I completely understand.
Which one will fit a BYRNA with MERCY LESS LETHAL and a BALDR MINI LASER?
What is a Byrna?

Do you have a holster rig/car safe inside your vehicle (console, etc.) that you can access your firearm while driving?
@@tigerman3 Super Dave and I were just discussing that on air. Up to this point no, but I am changing that today.

Any of those will fit a 6" 357?
Neither of those would work with your revolver, I think.
Hmm, they hold Glocks, what about large framed pistols, such as a Taurus PT-92 (with rail) or CZ-75B (no rail)?

Nic bage i love so much
Well ok. Not sure what that means.
The gunny sack is just a little too big and obvious it's for a gun.
I agree
