RZR Pro XP Gets an L&W Long Travel Kit! - RZR Build Part 3!

- Today we are installing the L&W long travel kit on the RZR Pro XP! A big part of racing is getting the UTV low and wide. This long travel kit will help us greatly in the width department! Not only is it much stronger than stock, it also looks sweet!

Man it’s been a while - looking really good - that’s a ton of work wow - can’t wait to see her all put together- love my bad land Jack to , so nice not to put a tree under the Jack to get the rzr off the ground lol 😂
Thanks! It’s definitely starting to take shape but we have a long road ahead. The badland jack is amazing! I’m pretty happy with that purchase for sure. Much better than a few blocks of wood and sketchy jack lol
You won't be disappointed on the L&W really like mine on my pro xp 💯👍
I’m pretty stoked on how it turned out. It’s definitely going to be much stronger than stock, we will be putting it to the test on the track!
@SchmidtysOffroad sounds like a good time to me I've did some rock crawling and dunes with mine everything has been great so far 💯👍
fyi, if you pull the bolt out of the vice grip, you can thread the slide hammer right into the end of the vice grips it'll still function like normal if you spin the slide hammer. I set mine up like that and then clamp it to the axle cup.
Woah I never would’ve thought about that, so you just have the vice grip on one side of the cup and you’re able to still pull it out?
@@SchmidtysOffroadI have popped them out like that and sometimes I stick a flat head screwdriver on the opposite side of the cup and pry up just a little so the cup comes out a little straighter.

Probably a dumb question. Did you spray pb blaster into the axle splines? Before trying to pull them off?
Yeah I had it set there for a day trying to let it soak in and it didn’t help lol. I couldn’t believe how stuck they were
@@SchmidtysOffroadrhino 2.0 c clips are an even bigger pain in the ass to pull out. I wore through a chain link and pulled the RZR around in my driveway trying to pull out a front one day in my pro with the harbor freight puller. Spend the money on an All Thingz UTV “axle magic 2” axle puller. Especially racing, it will speed things along alot
I didn’t see the all things axle puller until after I had gotten the puller from harbor freight. I’ll probably have to upgrade to that other puller though because it looks legit
@@SchmidtysOffroad I did the same thing. after a few times where the shaft pulled out of the cv. And all I had was the axle hub to hook up to, I HAD to find something different. Cause it usually turned into a couple hour affair at that point.
