He was that good. I'll never forget some of the laser beams you threw from the outfield, the textbook definition of a cannon for an arm. Love and respect from an Orioles fan that spent a few years living in Seattle and I'm still sitting here cheering for a guy that I rooted for 98% of the time, unless he was playing Baltimore, ha. Safeco Field, now T-Mobile Park is known as the "House Junior Built", now Seattle is now known that "Ichiro put on the map", and gave the Mariners the recognition that the team deserved.

I was just looking up his career stats and saw that, as a 42-year-old player, with about half a season's worth of at-bats, he hit .291 with 15 doubles, 5 triples, and 10 stolen bases.

I was watching that game when he bumped into her. Good memories. Now we have Ohtani and Judge bringing life back into baseball and make it more exciting.

Watched him hit an ITP HR in the All-Star Game here in The City - wicked!

The best player to ever play the game period. If you are a manager of a team you want a player like Ichiro on your team.

He's on the short list as the best pure hitter in baseball history.
    Thats just a fact.

I'm just watching this video imagining Ichiro delivering a curse-laden speech at the All-Star game with this voice 🤣

Dang…Junior looks as big as his dad did.
Ichiro is one of the most exciting players of my lifetime. I suffered through MANY losing seasons with our Mariners during the 80’s while in high school and beyond. But, Junior, Ichiro, Big Unit and the gang brought great times and hope. Even if they fell short of their ultimate goal….it was GREAT seasons.
Thanks Ichiro for your service and dedication. Aloha 🤙🏾🎼✌🏾

Hearing Ichiro speak to the fans in English was the like the first time the Emperor of Japan spoke to the people of Japan for the first time at the end of the war.
