  • Hi there I find this job is little complex so I thought is a good idea to make a video about it
So everybody can do it by themselves
For the passenger side you don’t need to remove the exhaust manifold just remove the cover
    Hope this video is useful

Thanks for showing the passenger side. Other top search results only showed the driver side. Going to help me out a lot.
Driver side they all pulled out from the side (towards transmission) and I was going to attempt the same on the passenger side. Luckily I already have my wheel cover off too so this should be painless. Fingers crossed.

I have been needing to change my mounts for a while but afraid to start the job but after watching this video I feel better. Only thing I’m worried about is putting the bolts in after lifting engine. What if the engine gets offline and can’t get bolts back in 😬

@@mardakworkshop4450 Well I do appreciate your video, and I should have started my comment with that, so let me be the one to apologize, to you. I spent about 2 hours on my 2009 Tahoe PPV just trying to get the passenger mount back in. I had to finally install it WITHOUT the heat shield, which will limit its lifetime. I don't understand how you got yours in with the shield on it? I removed everything except the AC unit, and had that engine jacked up until it wouldn't go any higher. Doing drivers side today, wish me luck!

@@mardakworkshop4450 Yeah it wasn’t to bad. I should have left the 3 mount to frame bolts out on both sides and lifted the engine would have given me much more room on the Passenger side. Anyway, in 12 years of ownership I haven’t spent much on my truck.
