The one that you say that you like is Austin...Sadly, he has just left the group to start a new chapter in his life with all the love and support of the rest of the guys. A great one for Austin is an original by Austin, Playing with Fire! It's amazing!!
Wonderful reaction! I don't mind a bit if you sing along - love the enthusiasm. Hard to pick a fav, but I would choose Austin. So many songs to enjoy - try Listen to the music, Can't stop the feeling, bless the broken road. However you really can't go wrong - so many are excellent
Loving your reactions. Here for Home Free and more. All the guys have side projects and there are some excellent collabs, as a group and individually. They recently released a new video of a Tim Foust (bass++) original, I’ve seen; and a cover of Your Man. Another Tim original will be released Friday.
Rob Lundquist and Austin Brown also cover the aria Nessum Dorma. The video is Two country guys try singing opera. It's a lot more than impressive. Another good one is Helplessly Hoping, a Crosby, Stills and Nash cover.
This was filmed in Fairhope, Alabama. Sadly, the one you like has recently left the group. There are plenty of videos with him in them, though, he was with them for years. My favorite changes from song to song, they switch up leads. When a Man Loves a Woman is my favorite Austin Brown lead, Adam Chance and Rob Lundquist share the lead in Blue Ain't Your Color and Brother, My favorites with Tim are Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget and Hillbilly Bone. In most songs, they each have a segment. I never get tired of listening to them, I saw them live in April and they were wonderful, it's a party, not a concert! The one who stands out live is Adam Rupp, the beatboxer. Thanks for reacting!
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. It is very deep and keeps getting deeper as the guys keep putting out more and more stuff. I am a Home Fry and new subscriber to your channel for more Home Free. It is so much fun watching new people discover the amazing world that is Home Free. So welcome to Home Free, all acapella, no instruments at all. Masters of all musical genres. They won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. Typically Rob sings tenor, Austin sings high tenor, Chance sings baritone, Tim sings bass and Adam Rupp is the beat boxer. But they have been known to mix it up. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.

I picked Adam, the beatboxer, as my favorite because he's amazing...and that way I don't have to pick a favorite singer. LoL Thank you for the Home Free reactions.
I don't have a favorite! I like them all. They share the spotlight and are masters at choosing the right combo of song to singer. All of them take the lead except for Adam Rupp, the beatboxer, who has a drum solo if you care to find it on TH-cam.
That line you want to draw keeps shifting. Adam keeps adding new sounds. The do have some songs without beatboxing. I recommend their cover of Crosby stills and Nash Helplessly Hoping. It's ear candy when all five of them sing.
Home Free is super talented. They can all beatbox to a degree but Adam (beatboxer) is amazing. He was doing the drums, harmonica and other sounds. Chance (back left) was doing the “mouth harp” sound. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can sing super high and sing really low. Austin (man in the middle) the one you like is so talented. He’s the high tenor and can yodel, do harmonica too and is very talented. Rob (glasses) is the tenor and can sing opera and is the whistler of the group. Unfortunately for you Austin is leaving the group. He’s been with them for 11 years and just got married and wants to stay home and start a family. They have a new singer already picked and touring with them. His name is Adam Bastien and will go by the name Bastien (Bass-teen). I’m sure he’ll fit right in. Keep going down the rabbit hole!!!😃😍
It is very hard to have favourites as it changes every song😂. They don't really have any egos, and the best person for the song is the one who does it. Love all of their songs. Will be interesting to see where they go with new member Adam Bastien. Great reaction mate. Have fun down the Rabbit Hole
My favorite Home Free guy totally depends on the song... and the day lol.. Love them all.. and they are all so talented! Watch Meet in the Middle if you want to see some excellent video mixing and editing etc not to mention harmonies of course. There is a live video of theirs on You Tube that shows all of them beatboxing too.. Well worth watching. Thanks for all you do!
This is one of the most popular Home Free songs. It was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies, Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old (about 100 yrs.) & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney. Not only do they do awesome covers but they also have a lot of original songs as 3 of them are songwriters.
I don't have a favorite - it varies song to song They varies with the song-they figure out who sounds best for each song . They don't have a lead snger
HF is awesome and Austin is my favorite, too. His voice is like butter. He sings with passion and makes me feel something special. What a talent!! Enjoyed your reaction!
I'll share this I stumbled across from another comment....It'll make your journey down that rabbit hole that much easier: The group started in 2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular. They are the only country A Capella ( all vocals no instruments)group but they are honestly do so so much more than just country music they can sing any genre and they do. There is no Lead singer in the group. They each ( except Adam )sing the song and who’s ever voice or voices sound right for the song gets the lead unless is a bass/ baritone song then that’s Tim or Chance. A lot of time they each have a part in the song. Fans of Home Free are known as Home Fries and are very loyal to the guys. Adam Rupp: Beatboxer Extraordinaire ( 41) can make any sound imaginable (A whole drum kit, harmonica (his Nomonica we call it )plane flyovers, trains, castanets, bugs ,birds etc).Co founder from Mankato Minnesota. Rob Lundquist :Lead tenor(beard and glasses) ( 40 )very soulful voice and master whistler from Minneapolis, Minnesota Tim Foust :Bass (had long dark hair now short with grey ) ( 42 ) 5+ octave range can go so low he blows speakers or sky high from Nederland, Texas Austin Brown: High Tenor ( Long wavy hair )( 37 ) voice of an angel from Tifton Georgia. Adam Chance(Aka Chance):Baritone/Bass ( 39 ) deep, rich voice(Does the juice harp sound in Man Of Constant Sorrow) has short dark hair short beard from Baldwin County, Alabama. Replaced Chris Rupp ( Adams Brother and co founder in 2016) They have collaborated with many singers and legends Don McLean: American Pie Oak Ridge Boys: Elvira Kenny Rodgers: Children Go Where I Send Thee (Please watch the end message) Billy Gilman: One Voice Alabama: Christmas In Dixie Mark Wills: Don’t Laugh At Me ( important message at the end ) Lee Greenwood & US Airforce Band: God Bless The USA Any many more. They have 3 amazing songwriters in the group Tim, Austin and Chance So they have a very large playlist of covers and original songs End of the Road (Boyz 2 Men cover ) When A Loves A Woman Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony masterpiece ) Unchained Melody Butts Medley/ Remix Listen To The Music Can’t Outrun You Brothers In Arms Stargazer Trilogy( All Originals written by Austin) Give Me A Sign ( Chapter 1) Stargazer Lilies( Chapter 2) MR (Chapter 3) Skull And Bones ( original written by Chance for Ubisoft new video game Skull And Bones) Might As Well Be Me ( Original) Playing With Fire ( Original) Remember My Name (Original) Oh Pretty Woman Life Is A Highway Stand By Me Cruise I Want Crazy Christmas In LA ( Newest Release Mayday(DON’T WATCH TILL YOU ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE GROUP AND THEIR RANGES ) There's not a song that you pick from their 200+ catalog that is bad I haven't found one yet. They are just funny, down to earth, humble really nice guys. They are the best A Cappella group there is IMO Sorry for the long read
Thank you so much for the information ! I’m definitely screenshotting this !! And I’d have to say out of all the accapella groups I’ve heard Home Free is %100 my favorite !!! Thank you for watching the video there’s plenty more to come !!
Adam Rupp ( Beatboxer) his Harmonica sound we call his Nomonica. Adam Chance aka Chance (Baritone/ Bass ) Standing in back with black vest did the juice harp sound Tim Foust ( Bass 5+ octave range ) Rob Lundquist ( Tenor ) Beard & Glasses Austin Brown ( High Tenor ) lead in this song.He has left the group a couple of weeks ago and had been replaced by Adam Bastien Aka Bastien ( Bass -Teen )
Home Free is incredible. Everything they do is great. And although they are a Country A-cappela group, they can really sing all genres. They really all have great voices with their own specialties. Even Adam Rupp who started the group with his brother Chris Rupp. Chris left the group in 2016 to go solo but also to start other projects with his sister, among others. Adam Rupp-Beatboxer but is actually an inhuman freaking good mouth artist. (Hear the incredible no-monica) Tim Foust- Deep bass but also as a tenor and everything in between is possible. Austin Brown-High tenor with his great runs and high notes. (Leave!😢, Replaced by Adam Bastien😄) Rob Lundquist (beard and glasses)-Tenor, with a voice like velvet and so much soul. Adam Chance (back left, who is called Chance) - Baritone/ Bass, a voice so smooth and sexy. And who here also makes the Jaw harp sound. There is no permanent lead singer in Home Free. They look at every song whose voice suits it best, the best harmony, no egos, no rivalries, great personalities etc. Besides, they can all beatbox (see their live performance 9to5). .. This is one of the many covers they do in addition to various originals, and each one is just amazing. Take the time to discover Home Free because it will be a great tour. For me they are number 1 A-Cappela group
Thats Adam's "NOmonica". He go nuts with it in "workin for a living" & "aint going down til the sun comes up". Aint going down is only on their fb or live fan videos. But worth checking out!!! ❤❤

These guys are crazy talented. Everything you hear comes from their mouths. Adam Rupp the beat boxer is a championship beat boxer. We lovingly call him the freak of nature. They never disappoint. Love your reaction! #HOMEFREE
@@anitawright7169 Ugh. The Ruppster has never competed in any competition involving beatboxing. Not to say he couldn't, but he says he has enough on his plate with Home Free and his family and that he has no interest in competing
I love your energy! Two others of theirs you might like are Listen to the Music (Dooby Brothers) or Can’t stop the feeling ( Yes, Bieber😅). Have fun! 🎶💕
Another great HF reaction! Isn't it incredible what they can do?! Not just Robes and clenched hands in front of them. AMAZING! Can't wait for more HF and the other groups too. You will be amazed by every single cover and original you hear! Thanks for a great time.
Came for Home Free! Subbed for your positive energy and hoping for more HF… … oh and never apologise for singing along. This is your channel and if people don’t like it, there’s plenty other reactors out there. Much love from a Danish 🇩🇰 Home Fry
I've found my favorite changes from song to song. Tim is probably slightly in front due to his vocal range and sense of humor. If you want to hear more of Adam Rupp's nomonica (as he calls it), listen to Workin For A Living or Ain't Going Down Till The Sun Comes Up.
Absolutely love Home Free. You also need to check out their buddies from The Sing-Off. VoicePlay #TheatreKidsOfACapella. They cover everything from Metallica to Disney. Tim Foust and Geoff Castellucci are my absolute two favorite Bass singers. Home Free and VoicePlay have done a video together plus different members have been in VoicePlays videos.
Austin Brown You're favorite He has just recently left the group. But has some solo projects that he has released You should check out his cover of Tears in Heaven (By Eric Clapton) and Unchained Melody ( By The Righteous Brothers)
Where do we draw the line with Adam Rupp?? THERE APPARENTLY IS NO LINE! Lol Not so far anyhow. People have asked him how long it took him to learn his craft and he relies that he's *still* learning. 😉👍 The guy you said was your favorite is Austin Brown, high tenor. Unfortunately, he's officially left Home Free now. No animosity or anything; he's just a young, newly-married man and had decided the touring life is just too much. The group has found another high tenor and already started him off with a bang at the Grand Ol' Opry, of all places! 😳 He's not Austin, but I think he'll be a good fit for HF. His name is Adam Bastien (which means there are now 3 Adams in the group!).
So - every home fry listening to your reactions has heard their original recording multiple times…and they know where to find the original track …. You ADD interest with your ANIMATED reactions… never apologize for that. Some people would complain if you gave them a free lobster dinner - that the lobster was tough.
@@georgemegaw9019 you nailed that analogy that made me crack up😂 thank you for the kind words and you’re so right I need to work on “overtly apologizing “ and be more confident. Thanks for boosting my confidence up and I’m glad you enjoyed the video! ❤️🙏
Austin has always my favorite since the sing off always will follow Austin even tho he is no longer apart of the group that one was a rough on to me. Love all of them but Austin was always it. Adam is the freak of nature! Best Beatboxer ever! Loved your reaction to ione, looks like I have a couple to catch up on of your reactions since I'm new to your channel! ❤
The song was originally published in 1913 and later covered by Bob Dylan & Joan Baez among others. There really are no instruments - Adam Rupp (IMHO) is the best beatboxer in any genre. Home Free's singing & harmonies are incomparable. There is no lead singer - Home Free is also ego-free. Whoever sounds best singing it, does. Uh oh - your favourite is Austin Brown - he recently left the band in furtherance of his home life & new wife. Adam Bastien just joined - I'm sure he'll be great but he's got a tough act to follow.
There's a live video of them singing "My Church" that is just jaw-dropping (with some terrific Tim-notes!): th-cam.com/video/4Tpa5D1UMrc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GmIFvT9Z2qeE-YH2.
Tell us the style of music you want to hear and we can recommend the music. They can and will sing anything (even the beatboxer,). But, do not listen to MAYDAY until you have 5-6 songs under your belt.
@@TociReacts Hmmm. Well, there's around 200 videos, if I recall correctly... There's a few things: Chance is really the folk singer of the group. He directed their video of Helplessly Hoping (Crosby, Stills &:Nash cover) Great harmonies in that one. It's also one of the rare ones that Adam sings instead of beatboxing (yes, he has a beautiful tenor). He's also got the widest range of the singers, octave-wise...and he plays the most instruments. He also learned Korean for one particular song he sings on their fan filmed concert skit called Guilty Pleasures Hilariously Derailed. Definitely a must see. You might flip over to Chance's channel and check out his folk stuff. He's a really nice guy and will frequently reply if you message him. Chance did do a version of Leave Her, Johnny, Leave Her. He loves sea shanties and that is normally a very rollicking one, but he sings it as sort of a lament, not depressing, just thoughtful... His wife, Sami, is also in the video (she's also the photographer of Home Free, that's how they met). Home Frees cover of Cover Me Up has special meaning to those two (he proposed at the end). Speaking of sea shanties, their popularity soared when Chance talked Home Free into doing their Sea Shanty Medley. He also wrote a sea shanty for Ubisoft, for their upcoming game, Skull & Bones (also the name of the song). Great song, Chance does play guitar in it and Austin plays the mandolin. Chance also sometimes collaborates with the husband - wife duo The Hound and the Fox and they have done some awesome folk songs together: Wayfaring Stranger, The Sound of Silence, The Whistling Lad, The Wellerman, and Hurt (Johnny Cash). You would probably find your own way there eventually, but it'll at least give you a "road map". Hound and the Fox have also collaborated with Tim as well. Hmmm. Oh, the Hound and the Fox also have directed a handful of Home Free videos: This Is How We Roll (spoofing the Big Lebowski) and Home Frees mashup of Thinking Out Loud (Ed Sheeran)/Let's Get It On (Marvin Gaye). The Hound and the Fox also appear as actors in that one as The Couple. The video is one, long take as well. Other Home Free mashups are: Fishing In The Dark/Boondocks (it's kinda trippy) and Country Fried Pop Medley. Some other songs you might like: In The Blood (John Mayer cover, a very introspective song), Traveling Soldier (keep some tissues handy for that one). Some funny ones: Working For A Living (Huey Lewis cover, spoofing the movie, Anchorman), Between A Rock and A Heartache (the boys get drunk at a bar) and Brother (Home Free goes LARPING) and you get to see Austin's girlfriend/wife (Amberly) beat the crap out of him with a sword. Speaking of Austin and Amberly, he has written a bunch of songs about her. They are two crazy peas in a pod! She's a gorgeous, sweet, sassy Georgia gal with a heart of gold. She's also a black belt (as is her parents), so she can kick Austin's butt if he needs it, lol. He wrote the Stargazer trilogy about her: Give Me A Sign/Stargazer Lilies/MR (Mister, a play on "missed her"). He also wrote Hers Aint Mine (about how she took over his life, in a good way), Do Both (about how she's his "mistress" and his wife, it's cute) and I'll Go First (Amberly wrote this with him). BTW, those last 2 don't have videos yet. The video for Hers Aint Mine is done but hasn't officially been released yet, but I got to see it 3 or 4 months ago and it's pretty funny.
That guy is Austin Brown tenor 1
Rob Lundquist tenor 2
Adam Chance Baritone
Tim Foust Bass
Adam Rupp Beatboxer
That "mouth harp" at the beginning is actually Mongolian Throat Singing and is done by Chance (back left).

@@timworks991 and I am so grateful to have everyone of you guys to support the journey and help me with the knowledge along the way !!! ALSO We are going live TONIGHT 10:30 pm EST and we would love for everyone to stop by and drop some requests !! HAPPY FOURTH!!! 🇺🇸
I picked Adam, the beatboxer, as my favorite because he's amazing...and that way I don't have to pick a favorite singer. LoL Thank you for the Home Free reactions.
Ahhhh that’s smart !!!
❤🤠#HomeFree. Amazing. Great reaction 🏠🍟
Thank you 🙌
I don't have a favorite!
Welcome to the Home Free world. Looking forward to more of your enjoyable HF reactions. They have about 200 great songs, so get busy!
Thanks for the info!
I'll share this I stumbled across from another comment....It'll make your journey down that rabbit hole that much easier:
The group started in 2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp They won The Sing Off season 4 2013 that's where they became very popular.

Adam Chance aka Chance (Baritone/ Bass ) Standing in back with black vest did the juice harp sound
Tim Foust ( Bass 5+ octave range )
Rob Lundquist ( Tenor ) Beard & Glasses
Austin Brown ( High Tenor ) lead in this song.He has left the group a couple of weeks ago and had been replaced by Adam Bastien Aka Bastien ( Bass -Teen )
Howdy Lynn. That instrument is a jaw harp, AKA a Jew's harp. Can't believe there are now three Adams in HF.

(Hear the incredible no-monica)
Tim Foust- Deep bass but also as a tenor and everything in between is possible.
Austin Brown-High tenor with his great runs and high notes. (Leave!😢, Replaced by Adam Bastien😄)
Rob Lundquist (beard and glasses)-Tenor, with a voice like velvet and so much soul.

That is Austin Brown but just recently he left Home Free to go solo so he can stay at home with his wife.
Austin Brown You're favorite He has just recently left the group. But has some solo projects that he has released You should check out his cover of Tears in Heaven (By Eric Clapton) and Unchained Melody ( By The Righteous Brothers)
@@cherokeemammyof4boyz Don't forget Bring Him Home from Les Miserables.
Where do we draw the line with Adam Rupp?? THERE APPARENTLY IS NO LINE! Lol Not so far anyhow. People have asked him how long it took him to learn his craft and he relies that he's *still* learning. 😉👍
The guy you said was your favorite is Austin Brown, high tenor.

@@sghsrox09 welcome in and enjoy the reactions and live streams !!!
Che k out Michael Winslow. He's awesome with what he can do!
Tell us the style of music you want to hear and we can recommend the music. They can and will sing anything (even the beatboxer,).
But, do not listen to MAYDAY until you have 5-6 songs under your belt.
I would love to hear a more “folky” influenced song by them.. Got any recommendations?
Your talking about a juice harp.
That would be a Jew’s harp - not a juice harp.
