What I learned from this video 1. Uhm 2. It is what it is 3. The truck isn’t destroyed 4. The truck survived 5. The truck is fine 6. The internet is lying
Love The Truck and The Confidence Behind the Product! Keep up the good work. The quality of the product and professionalism of the builders speaks for itself.
These are nicely built trucks. Top quality product, great and honest people to work with. Thanks Doug, to you and the team at DEFCO Trucks. I highly recommend any work one needs done to their truck to go here first.
I found a video of this company recently, it wasn't the full send. But I now love these guys! Mates awesome product. Can't wait to graduate and check this off my bucket list of things to buy!
AWESOME! Love you Trucks! Love the honesty!! Don't worry about the loose HATERS... There will always be idiots out there. My wife and I are moving to Colorado this summer.... Might have to get me a BA 350.... Love it!!
I can only surmise that the haters were unaware that it was not a stock truck. With the suspension upgrades made the truck is more than capable of making that jump. The minor damage is from other accessories and clearance issues with larger tires. Very nice piece! Keep it going guys!
The problem is that guys bend these raptor frames with aftermarket suspension all the time just doing small dune jumps and such, or even just high speed whoops do them in sometimes. With that kind of drop I'd be willing to bet that their frame is bent.
true mastersmiths... i loved your explanations... those under educated may jump to conclusions but your work ethic and experience shine thru! i look forward to future updates and the second jump!!!
Appreciate the jump and truck walk-through after the fact. I'd like to see other builders pull off the same jump. That ain't soft desert sand they're landing on.
I actually came from the Instagram post to here, I could tell more than likely it couldn't have just plowed it or anything so I guessed it was mainly fine. This interests me and I shall continue watching
@defco information about airbags . Airbags only deploy based on how fast you stop not what you hit. The sensors are made to register stopping motion. Since you did not dead stop the airbags would not deploy. Ask any Ford certified master technician and they will tell you the same thing. Love your guys trucks keep up the awesome work. Just wish they didn't cost so much. Love to have the megaraptor your giving away though!
Definitely appreciate the walk through on how everything held up. Seemed to handle it pretty damn well! Balls out testing is meant to find weak points and y'all didn't appear to skimp, haha. I'd really like to see how well it does (especially the canti-rear) through whoops. Hope y'all put out a lot more testing session videos. Sidenote: anytime somebody goes full send with what folks with a rough country lift kit would think of as a tow pig, they're gonna start yelling that you're destroying the truck..
Thank you for making this video. I knew the truck wasint totalled and it pisses me of when people don't pay attention an assume. This video shut all those people up. U guys are awesome
Haha!! Damn! Launched it! Certainly earned the BA badge! Everyone is just mad you didn't destroy it. Seems everyone is always more interested in destruction, failure, and negativity. Who cares what they think. That truck is Bad Ass!
One of the reasons y'all nose dove was due to the length of your ramp face. If the takeoff would have been long as the truck's wheel base or longer, it would have jumped a little smoother. Pretty impressive regardless!
Glad to see you guys using your builds for what there made for and testing their limits! Keep up the good work fellas. Always gonna be those naysayers, way to prove them wrong.
Cool truck, Jump it as much as you want because every time it breaks that creates a demand for someones job to fix it. I'm not sure why people say you're wasting a truck... You're creating jobs and doing it all for science and the love of making badass trucks, I think any truck person can respect that.
That jump was more like a huge curb and it would have destroyed most vehicles hitting it at that speed. I'm really surprised more damage wasn't done---nice solid build.
This video reminds me of the TV show "Fall Guy". Lee Majors stared in the show and he use to jump his lifted Chevy almost every episode. In modern days, he would absolutely chose to drive this truck! My 2017 F350 gets put through hell. Trust me, they can handle abuse..!
Always gonna be nah sayers. Bottom line the fab work in this truck is top notch. Chris Lewis @ Lewis Built goes above and beyond attention to detail. I have my pre runner in his shop now. And can’t wait for the final product.
Yet, even with this video, a bunch of Chevy and Dodge fan boys will still call you liars. There's a reason Ford went to aluminum and then fully boxed the frames. Guess what? Chevy is going to do the same fucking thing here shortly although, they will likely still wax their frames instead of electro-coating them. Dodge? Buy that Cummins name. Cause Dodge will be cummin right in your....keep it nice? Well damn!
I've always been a Dodge guy and a strong ford hater. Until driving my bosses f150 and f350. If I wasn't a Cummins fan boy, I'd have a ford in a heartbeat
Dodge is alway my kind of truck, since i took over my dad's trucking company (ADL Transport ) i bought a Ford at first, goes what...the flipping engine blew the mechanic said, "The engine was totaled and we would need to buy a whole new engine, so i decided to do that, i got my truck back with a 6.7 ppowerstorke diesel, there goes 20k less then a month the engine blew.. again no explanation from the ford mechanic that time i was done, decided to go to dodge now i got 3 2013 Dodge Ram 3500 6.7 cummins diesel, after a couple years flew bye i denied to take one truck for myself, then later on i bought a second en ram lifted , then i got a 2019 dodge ram which i want to cummins swap, don't like HEMI to much. Ford is a truck for a family, dodge os the way to go for hauling
That is a sexy truck man. I wish I had the bank roll for that beast. Like the color too. Hell yeah you gotta use a ford. Those trolls were probably talkin about a Chevy.
I understood, when building ramps for this purpose, that you want it to be at least twice the length of the truck. This lets the rear suspension settle before going airborne so the rear doesn't get catapulted. Anyone else have insight?
That is a nice truck but I would rather have all that effort put into building a Ford E-Series... I just like the vans and cutaways better than the pickups. Even though the E-Series is now only available in cutaway form, at least it now has the 6.2L V8 option now that the 5.4L is finally gone. And they still have 6.8L V10 option. My dream is to build an E-Raptor using an E-Series cargo van. It'll never happen though. I currently own a 2000 Ford E150 cargo van with the little 4.2L V6 and a 1998 E-Super Duty (early E450) with the 6.8L V10 which also has a Dana-80 with 4.63 gears.
That was kick ass! What the fuck is everyones anus stirred up about? How else would you know your build quality if you don't test it. Glad to see this isn't a trailer queen. I think there's a you tube video of a big chevy making a jump and exploding upon impact. At least this beast can take a beating! Awesome job dudes!
What I learned from this video
1. Uhm
2. It is what it is
3. The truck isn’t destroyed
4. The truck survived
5. The truck is fine
6. The internet is lying
"Um" you forgot to put "um" inbetween each "um" thing you learned. Ummmmmm hahaha
Uhm.... lol.... umh.... not bad for such a long jump.... umh...
Fake news
Damn....Beat me to it!
CrawlerJamie you are gay
Props to you guys for jumping it and then showing everyone how it wasn't hurt. Enjoyed the video and the truck is badass
Fully sent! If the jump ramp was longer than the wheel base of the truck it wouldn't buck the nose down as much.
Because S C I E N C E
Love The Truck and The Confidence Behind the Product! Keep up the good work. The quality of the product and professionalism of the builders speaks for itself.
"I didn't want to jump that far, but I did" classic doug. Love the truck, I gotta see it when I'm back in Colorado.
These are nicely built trucks. Top quality product, great and honest people to work with. Thanks Doug, to you and the team at DEFCO Trucks. I highly recommend any work one needs done to their truck to go here first.
Came from Instagram as well. Very nice truck. Held up much better than I think anyone expected.
"If we can't break it you can't break it" oh I bet I can....
Justin Rowe you don’t know “the doug”
Justin Rowe we can only make vehicles “Doug Resistant”, it’s impossible to make them “Doug Proof”
Is easy to blow an engine in a powerstorke, done it twice, no more ford trucks for me.
I found a video of this company recently, it wasn't the full send. But I now love these guys! Mates awesome product. Can't wait to graduate and check this off my bucket list of things to buy!
That stood up much better than I thought! Can't wait to see it repaired and improved then jumped again!
As a duramax owner and fanboy, I'm impressed. Kudos to your Flying Fordtress, look forward to its next flight!
AWESOME! Love you Trucks! Love the honesty!! Don't worry about the loose HATERS... There will always be idiots out there.
My wife and I are moving to Colorado this summer.... Might have to get me a BA 350.... Love it!!
Awesome build, and thanks for showing fully the aftermath and repairs
I can only surmise that the haters were unaware that it was not a stock truck. With the suspension upgrades made the truck is more than capable of making that jump. The minor damage is from other accessories and clearance issues with larger tires. Very nice piece! Keep it going guys!

0xsergy Except it’s not a Raptor, it’s an F-350.
I'm shocked it wasn't damaged more! Good truck y'all build!
true mastersmiths... i loved your explanations... those under educated may jump to conclusions but your work ethic and experience shine thru! i look forward to future updates and the second jump!!!
Appreciate the jump and truck walk-through after the fact. I'd like to see other builders pull off the same jump. That ain't soft desert sand they're landing on.
Good work fellas....thankful for guys like you out there putting new pickups to the test at your own expense
I actually came from the Instagram post to here, I could tell more than likely it couldn't have just plowed it or anything so I guessed it was mainly fine. This interests me and I shall continue watching

Super impressed you jumped a diesel, I don't think people even understand how heavy that motor is alone!!!
Definitely appreciate the walk through on how everything held up. Seemed to handle it pretty damn well! Balls out testing is meant to find weak points and y'all didn't appear to skimp, haha. Jack Sandoz and ur sidenote is well said and very very true..
If I had the money I would definitely have you guys build me a skookum truck like that! Hats off to your honesty and build quality.

Not a huge Ford fan, but damn this video has made me think differently. Totally awesome! Can’t wait to see what is next

Cool to see the final outcome. Truck is BA for sure. I'll keep watching. F. The haters keep doing what you're doing.
That was one hell of a jump.
Wicked...can't wait to see more guys!
Amazing video dude! I love it i gave it a liked and subscribe
Glad to see you guys using your builds for what there made for and testing their limits! Keep up the good work fellas. Always gonna be those naysayers, way to prove them wrong.
Impressive to say the least

Saw this on truck on TFL awesome truck guys!

Badass build. I lost track at 50+ uhs and uhms lol.
Looks mint considering you sent it with a massive alumiduty... I have a '17 350, maybe I'll send it!!
Sweet video! You just got another subscriber
This video reminds me of the TV show "Fall Guy". Lee Majors stared in the show and he use to jump his lifted Chevy almost every episode. In modern days, he would absolutely chose to drive this truck! My 2017 F350 gets put through hell. Trust me, they can handle abuse..!
Solid axle truck. Not made to jump and that’s where a lot of the nose dive you got came from . Real sweet truck tho !
Props to you guys!! Built a hell of a truck. Looks killer and it’s not a mall crawler! Props guys ready for the follow up video!! Sub to the page.
Always gonna be nah sayers. Bottom line the fab work in this truck is top notch. Chris Lewis @ Lewis Built goes above and beyond attention to detail. I have my pre runner in his shop now. And can’t wait for the final product.
head to head with the 250R - Raptors.. i'll take this one for sure
sweet truck good work guys

It's still all garbage built in Mexico

Ford is a truck for a family, dodge os the way to go for hauling
Thank you for the explanation. I 'assumed' that since the fender flew off, the frame (or something important, etc) got munched...I'm wrong...
That is a sexy truck man. I wish I had the bank roll for that beast.
Like the color too.
Hell yeah you gotta use a ford.
Those trolls were probably talkin about a Chevy.
Dude amazing truck!!!!!
But is it the same truck?
How many times did he say um 😂
That was insane
Good job
That jump was cool as shit
good job guys, and great follow up vid

That was freaking awesome!
"If we can't break it you can't break it" but you did break it though...
Right On Guys !!! Sweet Job !!!
what is the curb weight of the BA350?
It landed hard but not crazy, why do people think it would be totaled over that, for that size of a truck it did well
I have a 2002 GMC SIERRA SLT w/Z71 package 4x4 What aftr market parts do you recommend to make my duck bulletproof
Hold my beer and watch this...
The truck doesn't need more spring. It needs more damping...
That is a nice truck but I would rather have all that effort put into building a Ford E-Series...

This vid is going to be everywhere 🤘🤘
That was cool! Good job guy's...!
Love this truck
Great video, call out the haters and show the real picture
Good show!
Where is the updated jump video! I love showing raptor owners this video that the mega can indeed jump! LOL
Should build a landing ramp!
It is what it is. It is what it is. It is what it is. It is what it is. It is what it is. LOL, J/K Love the truck.
Gotta ask, how was your back after that landing? Cant believe the hit that truck took!
Terry Leimonis not going to lie I was a little sore but all in the name of progress! Thanks for watching
Straight sick
What does the back of the cab and front of bed look like. Are the bedsides fiberglass too?
Al Bundy absolutely unscathed.
Good shit boss... Love it
Built FORD TOUCH , don't think I would ever jump my 7.3 like that but that's just me
There's one in wilmington nc seen it this morning black badass 😮😮😮
That was kick ass! What the fuck is everyones anus stirred up about? How else would you know your build quality if you don't test it. Glad to see this isn't a trailer queen.
