Jolle Bindo fought in this war. He must've seen so many horrors in that short amount of time. No wonder he decided to spend several decades on the Wookie Homeworld. Who would blame him.
“What are you watching babe?” “Oh, just my emotional support background noise” This channel made cleaning out my condo today far more entertaining than it deserved to be, o7.
Exar Kun crashing the ttrial of Ulic Qel Droma and then preceding to freeze the senate while giving his speech may be the most badass thing in Star Wars lore
Exar Kun gave the Sith the power to shapeshift, allowing them to return again and again in another destructive form for the ages to come, until the Force bends to their individual wills and the Sith become dominant immortal gods. But if the Sith are shapeshifters, what would their final form be?
I think this might be the first video in a while without any music in the background. Also, it seems like we're back to Sith History once a week. Palpatine: Good. Good. lol.
King Adas turned the Sith from a Species to a people. Ajunta Pall and his surviving Dark Jedi turned the Sith from a people into an Empire. Exar Kun turned the Sith from an empire to a Cause.
When talking about planets or geography, maybe show a map of the galaxy where those planets and places are annotated? I only had a faint idea what "the slice" even is.
I recently beat the 2002 clone wars game again.Which features ulic qel-droma's spirit, the jedi monument on rhen var where he was buried, and also thule, the force harvester, and the dark reaper. In the game ulic's spirit teaches anakin the technique that would allow him to be immune to the dark reaper's affects, as well as teaching him how to destroy it for good that time.
@@CloneScavengerVulpin8389 Hmm I’ll check the Xbox marketplace, Xbox rn has the biggest selection of remastered SW games. I think I have 17 of the 25 or so that’s available. I’m hoping they release the Obi-Wan game I had when I was a kid soon as well. I just bought RoTS movie game it’s so fun.
I enjoy listening to the audio and not having to drag out My Dark Horse Comics to enjoy those stories, I usually have to open My vault to enjoy them. Thank You very much, and maybe one day possibly You can discuss Sith who are redeemed by their deaths.
The great sith war was the sith's best chance to conquer the galaxy until the days of the great galactic war, when they affectively did so and came away with control of half of it. They had a strong and resolute military, great tactical minds leading them and an offensive strategy of death by a thousands cuts, that was bleeding the republic dry. Until the old flaw of Sith treachery and infighting raised its ugly head once more and led to their defeat once more.
@Geetslys 😊great video love these sith lore videos can’t wait for the next installment. You are so underrated IMO u should have way more followers than that you currently have, hope people start to wake up and open their eyes to your content. This is true Star Wars not that junk that’s on the “big screen” in Hollywood, peace ✌🏼 and may the force be with you, always…
Sure is a bit confusing, the Great Sith War timeline. The TotJ comics show it appearing to be worth a few months' time and set on several planetary sectors, but expanded material like The Clone Wars 2002 video game show it to be somehow a full-on galactic war that took far longer than mere months. Not helping is the huge importance of the Dark Reaper superweapon, which is barely called upon in the aforementioned comics.
Republic Soldier 1: We did it boys. We beat the Sith. Destroyed the Krath and the Massassi. And the Mandalorians are not-so mandy anymore. Republic Soldier 2: Lame. But what if the Mandalorians come back? Republic Soldier 1: Don't worry about it. They're not going rally behind a new Mandalore on Dxun of all places and come at us again. I bet that fancy mask of his has been bitten and chewed up beyond use.
Because Disney star wars is about Kathleen Kennedy real world politics views and not about the real star wars which is about conflict between the light and the dark
The fact that you were able to say all those planets names in a single breath is astonishing! And without biting your tongue no less
Stars wars guru's can do that yup🤙

The Great Sith War scarred the Jedi Order for years to come as it was this war that forever place the Sith Order as the eternal enemies of the Jedi.
Felt like this was the highlight of the light and dark clashing at their full power.
About a thousand years before exar was the golden age for light vs dark
One of my favorite Characters is Mandalore The Indomitable, his Loyalty to Ulic Qel-Droma always felt touching.

I always loved the timeline videos from SWTOR. Your videos go even deeper than those

Exar kun the instrument who wrecked the galaxy in record Sith time
In a sick kind if way (if you think about it), Exar Kun committed his own version of Order 66 before it was a thing

funny how anakin met qel-droma and luke met exar kun
its like poetry, it rhymes

Which Clone Wars game is that ? The movie game or from the show ? Because now I want it lol.
@@jamariojackson4289 it takes place in between attack of the Clones and the first season of Clone Wars TV show.

Aleema. Smh. Played with fire.
Always happy to learn more about the Sith
Wishing to see more the Great Galactic War between the Republic and the Empire, I do.
I don’t know why my brain had a blonde moment when I heard “Mandalore the Planet.” I thought to myself “wait what leader was that?”
I love this series.... shoot I love anything about the Sith!!
First time viewer, but hearing that OG battlefront load screen, made me a lifer. Thank you for helping me remember that game exists.
Please do! Loving the series and would love more legends content, especially reading recommendations
1,800th like!👍

Great video and series. Really looking forward to when the history reaches the New Sith Wars and the Black Knights of the Sith. :)
Grateful to this channel for sharing these stories and good luck with your other one .
I love these videos!
Sounds about as dramatic as the 1 Year War in Gundam.

So I have to ask, how many ‘ancient’ home-worlds have the Jedi had and lost in their history?

Snickering in Revanite.
That's understatement 😅
Who else is voting this guy for Jedi Historian???
So many awesome stories....why do I dont feel the same way about the new shows I just dont know
It's because the new shows are more about boring regular people instead of the kick-ass space wizards.

This guy got almost everything wrong about exar kun, you need to do more research about exar kun sources outside of the tales of the jedi comics
