Really digging all of these variations on a theme. Most would have stopped at good enough and called it done. You continue to tweak and evolve the design, essentially improving it by degrees. A plus to this is that each design has its own strengths and drawbacks. The fact that you keep it all simple and affordable is the best part. Really looking forward to further experiments. 👍

I needed it to be roughly the same diameter hole as the umbrella stand. Many of my latest builds are suited to such a wide hole, including the new Boxing Cobra prototype I’m working on

300mm is probably your best option. That's the height of what a standard umbrella comes with.
