    Hi ,can I recommend using an adjustable pull up bar ( the type that you see in door frames ) to use for the main steel pipe . The body of it is 1 inch but has two fractionally smaller bars that slot in either end and screw Into a threaded rod that runs through the middle meaning You can easily screw to adjust the height. All you need to do is cut the flange off one end and it slots neatly instead the power bar Ps thanks for the great tutorials.

    Thanks man, I just finished building my own reflex bag, you saved me a lot of money. I was going to order a reflex bag from amazon but the reviews even on the $80 one weren’t good. I spent no more than $50 in material including the spring. The device works pretty good for what i will use it for and I think it works better than the $80 ones from other sites. The PVC is just incredibly fast. It's BETTER than a $300 Cobra bag, it's faster. If anyone has saw Ryan Garcia on a Cobra bag, his is not a legit official Cobra bag either. He has a custom one, it looks like they have some kind of industrial strength coil on it, either welded, or maybe just attached on like Reedy does it. But Reedy's is almost as good and way easier to make, IMO. I personally like his full body bag. I'm going to make one like that, but only about halfway down. I don't do kicks, so I don't need that. But I love to work the body.

    How about this: ONE fishing pole or fiber glass pole....MIGHT be too flexible (i dont know...just a guess), so if that turns out to be the case...use MULTIPLE/ NUMEROUS diffeent poles tied together....maybe 2?...3? 4? How ever many it takes.
    With that said...that would also give each unit...not only flexibility as far as how stiff/ fast it will be, but will essentially give it INFINITE flexibility in this area, because you can just always add more and more fishing poles/ fiber glads poles!!! TRY THAT!! Start with buying MULTIPLE different poles, just incase you discover that you need them.
    #2- also try a version of your current ones....using .a THICKER PVC pipe!! That alone should make it stiffer/ faster...and that seems to also be much cheaper than any other option.
    You might also be able to adjust the thicker PVC pipes speed/ stiffness by inserting a thinner PVC pipe inside of it (another thing for you to buy if you choose to go out to the store and get this stuff). In all reality...it seems like sticking to the PVC pipe versions will be the CHEAPEST and also still very effective...if not the most effective..and most adjustable. Let me know how this stuff turns out.

    What about the 50kg or 60kg powertwister? Will it be just like the one Ryan Garcia uses? I need more speed. Im ready to order, let me know. Thanks

    • @Kewlus
      @Kewlus  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The power twister springs are not the best type of springs for this. It does the job, but it slows down too quickly. I’m currently designing the perfect spring for it and might make it for sale in a couple of weeks. If you go with a power twister I recommend either 40kg or 50kg but not more as it will be too stiff. I tried 50kg and it was too stiff

    Hey Reedy.......what do you think about using a nerf basketball for the bag? Too heavy?

    • @Kewlus
      @Kewlus  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're going to use a basketball you might need a 50kg power twister. I have used a basketball before with a PVC pipe and the pipe had to be twice as rigid as when I used a soccer ball or a speed bag.

    • @junebug5644
      @junebug5644 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Kewlus Check out nerf if you are not familiar with it. It is well known in the US. It is a type of foam.....not nearly as heavy as a normal basketball but has nice density. Targeted at kids. Had nerf footballs and basketballs growing up..... could be a nice option for the "bag" versus pool noodles due to the density and weight.
