No, "doc' is so WRONG. He says "An eye floater is a strange little cobweb-like piece of something drifting in your eye. It tends to float around, especially if you try to focus on it or if you look away. It’s not dangerous.' Uh, NEWSFLASH -- if one has a sudden burst of floaters in their vision, it's extremely dangerous -- as it means you may be experiencing retinal or vitreous detachment! The guy is a SALESMAN, not a doctor. At least he admits there are no studies to back up his nonsense.

I was diabetic for 25 years and went low carb less than 20 g for me per day and normalized A1C and off meds. I had floaters for years and started to develop macular degeneration in one eye. Started vitamin A and it halted but started in other eye. Added E, B1 and B2. Reversed the shade affect and red line to the cornea. It took me months to realize the floaters were gone also.

Prior to knowing about Keto and intermittent fasting, which is what I am starting to do now, my floaters went away. My mother in law had macular degeneration and it was awful to see her slowly losing her sight. My husband and I didn’t want this to happen to us. We had heard about Lutein helping the eyes so we both started taking Lutein 25 mg with Zeaxanthin 5mg in the same pill. We started taking this about 15 years ago. We were in our late 50’s and I had lots of floaters. They were annoying but I lived with them. I had noticed they were getting less and less until they disappeared. So taking this pill took them away. We both went to a new eye dr and when there we told him about what and why we were taking (this was before my floaters were all gone) and he was impressed with what we were doing. He said that our eyes were in great shape and the pills would definitely help with preventing macular degeneration. My eyes are still in great shape and I have been wearing progressive glasses. I can now get single vision. It’s great not to have floaters anymore. I just thought I’d share this along with what Dr. Berg says. Thank you Dr. Berg for all do for us. I love every video you put out.

I found it on Reddit: "Ok wow! We need to talk about autophagy and eye floaters".
"Ok so most of you may know what autophagy is. It's a process where your cells begin to self heal or repair broken tissue ect. And protein synthesis is increased exponentially after the 20 hour mark of a fast.
So I did my first ever 3 day water fast where I didn't touch any food for a full 72 hours. It went great. I felt relatively not hungry and I lost 4 pounds. But one thing I noticed on the 4th day was my eye floaters were much better and weren't as blotched together. I had this horrible huge eye floaters right in the center of my vision on my left eye. It was so bad I was considering asking my eye doctor for a vitrectomy to fix it. But the horrible big eye floater I had in my center of my vision is freaking gone!!! It is not a placebo. I spent a good 20 minutes looking at a plain white screen on my computer to try and get my focus on that eye floater and I can't detect it at all no matter how hard I try. I am so happy I could jump for joy. You guys have no idea how depressing it was having the eye floaters distract you every damn time you look around or look at a computer screen all day.
There really needs to be more studies on this and how long fasts can be used as a viable treatment for eye floaters rather than super expensive surgery."

God made our bodies to heal. Jesus didn't say if you fast and pray, he said when. We as humans are meant to do occasional fasts and repentant prayer reboots. Many Jews and Christians fast on the Old Testament commanded day of fasting in September (Yom Kippur - Day of Repentance and Atonement) and many Christians fast the first few days of January as they dedicate it to the Lord. And some Jews and Christians fast the last and first day of the month. It's called "Yom Kippur Katan" (little fast of thankfulness for atonement) it comes from the biblical prescription to bring a sin offering on the first of every month Numbers 28:15. To the Jews the offering is their own sacrifice till they can sacrifice in the temple again, to the Christians it's their thankfulness of Christ being the blood sacrifice that atones for sins so no other blood offering is needed, but they want to feed on prayer rather than food and offer themselves as living sacrifices not saved by good works, but saved to do good works.

Dr. Berg almost always cites SEVERAL with his short videos he puts out for us. This is literally the first video I saw where he said he didn't have one to share. However, if you watch his videos, he bases it off years of experience and the thousands he surveys, and yet you rip him like he is a regular doctor who doesn't have a clue about research. He understands research better than most doing it with a PHD. Most doctors have fewer than 36 hours of nutritional education, this man literally makes a living off reading and teaching what he learns from spending more than that amount of time in study each week. The man is almost 60 and has more than 40 years' worth of research under his belt and thousands of testimonials. Just stop, you and not him sound like an uneducated fool. I am not trying to be rude to you, but why are you libeling him?
Dr. Berg's clients have included senior officials in the U.S. Government, medical doctors, actors, high-level executives of prominent corporations, scientists, professors, engineers, as well as nurses, stay-at-home moms, and high school students. He does expert in-house seminars several times a week, including external seminars in Governmental agencies, including the Library of Congress, Federal Communication Commission, National Institute of Science, FBI, and many others. He has trained over 2,500 health professionals and personally helped my life greatly and was part of my journey to excellent health after medical doctors failed me. Our family works in medical science, and we have excellent insurance because of that, but thanks to Dr. Berg I don't even need to use it. What do you do? Are you a comedian? We need to stop attacking those who provide natural and preventative solutions. Preventative and natural solutions are real solutions. He didn't cite people's personal testimonies of how fasting cleared up eye floaters, but that's where he is getting this from, it's not pulled out of a hat. Health improvements from fasting are well studied, his point is no one has yet to do a peer reviewed study on this, but people say it helps. He is allowed to say that and your allowed to try it or not.

Dr. Berg, thanks for the info, but you should also put a "Word" of caution to have an eye exam. If I followed the advice in this video, I would not have discovered that my floaters were due to tears in my retina on both eyes. I had to have laser eye treatment to seal the small tears. If not, one of those small tears could have developed into a detached retina which would have been more serious and would have require medical surgery or correct.

I have reversed my diabetes simply by doing intermittent fasting plus HIIT in May 2020. Since then I am off any kind of medication. In November 2019 I suddenly had floaters in my left eye and they spread in my right eye also. Thanks to you and some of good Doctors I learned to do IF and HIIT. NOW I NOTICE MY EYE FLOATERS HAVE BEEN DECREASED. Its wonderful to hear the reason from you, sir...

Keep in mind floaters can also be a sign of a detached retina in process, so if you’re seeing flashes of light in the periphery, massive areas of pepper -like specs.. you probably should see your eye doc to make sure it’s basic floaters.. or if you have diabetic retinopathy definitely see you doc.

I wanted to share my experience with a sudden and severe eye floater that blocked my vision, which was incredibly frightening. I rushed to the optician, who told me to just live with it. After doing some research online, I found success stories about using castor oil for eye floaters.
For six consecutive days, I applied cold-pressed castor oil to my eyelids and lashes, using a generous amount before bed. To my astonishment, my eye floater completely disappeared after just a week! I’m so grateful and relieved.
If you decide to try this, please choose high-quality cold-pressed castor oil-avoid buying from Amazon. Instead, look for it at a local Walmart and make sure to research the brand to confirm it’s organic.
Feel free to reach out with any questions! For context, I’m 28 years old. Thank you!

    I am not exaggerating with this report of completely unexpected 90% reduction of floaters;
I put a generous amount of castor oil (cold, pressed hexane free) in my naval area and covered with a 3 x 3” Band-Aid. (Naval area is suited for best transdermal absorption) I slept with a towel underneath overnight and wore an old shirt. (Turned out it never leaked)
I slept more deeply than I have in years and woke up relaxed with a still, calm visual field. Normally I have a LOT of annoying floaters.
In ALL my life I’ve never had such unexpected relief in terms of restfulness of sleep and clear vision from such a simple, inexpensive, minor treatment as Castor Oil.
Just to be clear, I did NOT put the castor oil in my eyes directly.
Give this a try if interested and don’t stray too far from a bathroom the next morning 😆

Plan: eyedrops from pure msm (bring sulfur to eyeballs, and makes cells permeable for edta and mb), edta (to pull metals), a bit of methylene blue (lock in melatonin), and melatonin (also iron chelator). The key seems to be msm, I used dmso before but that stings so it's hard to not be washed away by tears.

Tbh I haven't used it in a while because of the stinging. Also because I have limited success with the methylene blue I bought, it's the kardon fish brand. And I have not been able to find any more usp grade, all the so called brands claiming that are just lying knock offs, it would have to be a known chemical supplier. I did see an ecuadorian real product for external use so that might be usable.
Anyhow I should try it for a week straight which I've put off for now and report back. I used to have good results with it some years ago.
Edit: I did go back to using dmso again, the msm stings just as much. Brand: dr Moran.
Quantities I just made it a decent light blue, and about a third of the liquid dmso. The melatonin highly diluted see below

    • @Rene-uz3eb
      @Rene-uz3eb 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Regarding eye floaters, whatever else I did seems to be working for that, because I don't have any anymore I just noticed. So that might be my melatonin only eyedrops which don't sting, at extremely diluted quantities (3mg in 1oz, 8 times diluted, by throwing out 4/5 of it). It seems to last about a month in the fridge. The brand of the pure melatonin I use is LiftMode Synaptent

I've used the dmso and methylene combination for 3 days now and I'm stopping it it doesn't seem to work. Can't explain why, must be some form of contamination in the kardon methylene blue is all i can speculate. Until I get better purity I won't use it.

I doubt that there would be, as changing of diet or fasting won't help. Your
eyeball is filled with a gel like substance called the vitreous humor. Some
people actually have the vitreous taken out, and replaced with a substance
and this has cured the eye floaters for some. Usually after cataract surgery.
Another way is to have them zapped with a lag laser, which some eye doctors
specialize in. Bit risky though, as your better off with good vision, and the
distractions the floaters cause, than "no vision" from an operation gone wrong.
I've had them since very young, but "only" in my right eye, but my left has none.
If the floaters were related to your diet, I'd have them in both eyes. It's hard to
believe that people believe what's in the content of these videos. Not true.
I should add, I've had them since young, and they get worse with age. I hope
someday they find a safe cure.

@@ParagGovil you want to reach the scapula in the back, the side of which that runs parallel to the spinal cord. Get 2 socks, tie the toe ends together. Drop a ball on each side of the sock. Lean against a wall . And then holding the balls by the top of the socks, run the ball "inch by inch" staying 7 times each location along the spine from the beginning of the scapula to the bottom. Stay close to the ditch at the edge of the scapula and spinal cord, depending on the size of the ball you get. I usually get the pet toys so they are firmer. You can also do one side at a time with one sock. The living points usually are in the crevice or on the line that separates the dark skin and light skin. 2) make a fist on the left hand. You can pinch and pull or deep rotational pressure at the right edge of the knuckle on the side of your index finger. Just massage around it if you are not sure where exactly. 3) go to the wrist where there is a slight bone protrusion on the thumb side ( opposite to the big protrusion of the pinkie side) . Apply rotational pressure around it. Do it at least 7 times. Repeat for the other arm.
For any eye strength, at least massage with index and thumb fingers the second knuckle ( middle) of each finger 7 times, with this order, 4-1-3-2-5, 1 being the thumb, 5 being the pinkie. You can also do for all knuckles for Eyes and total health, the thumb being the central focus. On the leg you can go to the 2 front 2 holes of your knees and the holes around your ankles.
You need to do 3 times a day religiously. And don't overdo. Only 7 times each location. The living point is where you feel bad pain.
It has worked well with me. I do this routine once a day for eye maintenance once my floaters are gone. I was taught by a Vietnamese monk.

  • @farmur9680
    @farmur9680 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

I noticed that people have tried fasting and using MSM but didn't helped. Actually you need to address the root cause, since it is due to the breakdown of collagen fiber. Fasting will not restore the collagen but actually it is silica and vitamin C. For silica you need a full tablespoon of diatomaceous earth food grade adding in a gallon container, fill it up with water, let it sit there to settle it down which takes 3 to 5 days, after that you have to gently either pour the water without disturbing DE to the glass to drink but throughout the whole day, you can drink directly from the container but you have to do it gently for not disturbing the DE. The reason why this is important is because of orthosilicic acid that is organic silica gets very instantly fast absorbed. For vitamin C I recommend 1 ounce indian gooseberry powder, 1 ounce guava powder, mix them together as a formula and the dosing is a half teaspoon 30 minutes before meal 3 times a day. Both silica and vitamin C restores the collagen and elastin actually. Coleus forskholii eyedrop works too but it really depends on the root cause.
Before I go any further, I will explain the cause behind here, first of all the blood vessels in the eyes are being ruptured which causes leaking of the blood to the vitreous humor of the eye. This is why I am telling you guys that vitamin C, Silica and actually bioflavonoids which is found in Indian gooseberry can strengthen the blood vessels to prevent causing leaking, once that is stopped the body is then capable to remove the leaked blood. Another cause of floaters would be age related, which I will explain more about methylation. If it is due to age related issue then I recommend supplementing with hyaluronic acid or kombucha tea which contains rich source of hyaluronic acid which will get rid of the floaters.
Overall you need omega 3 fatty acid, vitamin E, beta carotene, vitamin A is important, like I said vitamin C, vitamin D is important too. I would also suggest to maintain your methylation for myelin regeneration of the nerve in the eyes, such as lecithin granules non-GMO taking a full tablespoon adding in a shake or in food 3 times a day, B12, B6, folate are important for methylation, but my favorite supplement is trimethylglycine of a 1000 MG 3 times a day which is a powerful methyl donor for methylation. You just have to keep in mind that it takes time to regenerate the nerve (if it is due to the nerve damage of course). Of course fasting is important for enhancing autophagy to remove damaged proteins, that also takes considered amount of time but you really have to focus on the root cause, eliminate high carbs or refined sugar. Get rid of processed junk foods. I would recommend temporarily a vegan keto, try to keep the meat and dairy products as minimum as possible to avoid the hormones that are in that product, if you are worried about iron, B12 and so on, you can find it in seaweeds such as dried purple laver called Nori. So there you go guys.

The research behind this hypothesis is solid. Autophagy really and clearly is able to degrade protein, including collagen. But nobody knows anything about how the eye is able to degrade damaged collagen fibrils. According to some researchers, this is impossible since there is an eye specific enzyme for degrading and regenerating the vitreous. Allegedly the vitreous never regenerates, it only goes from more solid/gelly, to more liquid.

Absolutely amazing how fasting and prolonged fasting can positively affect soooo many conditions.
I have been fortunate to find Dr Berg among others over the last 2 to 3 years and listen to many hours of videos. I think I have been fasting like many on here and didn't know it especially when I was much younger growing up. And by fasting unknowingly , I believe I have good skin and complexion at 67 than many my age and younger. Or, I won the skin lottery. So, I think the takeaway with many health problems in most countries is really simple. Stay away from the so called fake food, eat real high nutrient dense real food , and fast like hell.
Translated....eat much much less than most people and much less frequently. That equals a healthy long life likely. To your long healthy life. Break the food addiction especially sugar and foods that stimulate sugar like most grains and you can live a quality life till you wear out , Not Rust Out !!

It’s not dangerous.' Uh, NEWSFLASH -- if one has a sudden burst of floaters in their vision, it's extremely dangerous -- as it means you may be experiencing retinal or vitreous detachment! You're over simplifying the word dangerous. Are they technically 'dangerous'? No. Could the onset of major floaters on an otherwise healthy eye affect the quality of your life? Lead to depression? Suicide? Yes! Absolutely and this is the problem with the misrepresentation of floaters. Just because you're probably no gonna go blind, depending on how bad they are they will negatively effect how you see for ever. To think this should be just 'not worried about' is hilarious to me. If someone drew with marker pen over your eyeballs as you slept and you couldn't get it off, I'm sure you're just happily ignore that and carry on with your life as 'techincally' it's not dangerous. So happy to hear this as fasting daily 18/6 my floaters have disappeared. I mentioned this to my eye Dr. and he was surprised. Probably thought I was crazy but hey I’m a happy camper!

I fast from 7 pm til 11 or 12 the next day. I have been doing intermittent fasting for about 4 years. Game changer.

@@neilkennethsado1637 I had several in both eyes. It freaked me out the first time I noticed them. They disappeared within a few months. Honestly, I forgot about them until one day I realized they went away. IF life style also can make skin tags disappear. Pretty amazing the power of allowing your body to heal itself when it doesn’t have to be digesting food all day!

Funny I should see this video sitting in my eye specialist’s office with my eyes dilated before my exam. I’ve had floaters since the age of 14; I’m 76 now. They are still bothersome, one of the reasons I’m here today. I’m on a keto diet and fast 18 hrs. each day.

I've had eye floaters since I was in my 40s, and I'm 60 now. They usually don't bother me but recently they've gotten a lot more dense. I had a neighbor who was older than me and wasn't crazy, she knew she had eye floaters but would be outside swatting at them. She had humor.

Some people claim that eating pineapple helps floaters because of the enzyme bromelain that pineapple contains.

Funny thing, I stopped eating pineapple years ago because it seemed to hurt my mouth but recently (a year or so) I started eating pineapple again and my floaters dramatically improved. I've had eye surgery 5 years ago and that's when the really bad floaters seemed to have started.

OK I'm going to try it. I was doing intermittent fasting years ago not realize that it was called intermittent fasting. I just wanted to abstain from eating for a while because it felt better on my stomach. I'm not saying it was a solution however, I did feel better when I would eat less. It's just always a challenge to try to find the right foods that agree with my stomach. But I will definitely try this as I have floaters now and they are pretty obnoxious. Thank you again.

I read that eating 2 slices of fresh pineapple a day, for a month, is a great way to get rid of eye floaters, and the effects last for about a year. Pineapples is sort of expensive, but it works.

Mine appeared about a month after cataract surgery,in both eyes. It’s when you disturb the vitreous layer in your eye, according to my eye doctor.

I had the same surgery and 1 week after I had floaters in one eye that looked like a bean with roots hanging from it. The next week I had them appear in the other eye and it looks like I am looking through seaweed. Sometimes I can ignore them but other times a real pain in the but. I might look into having them laser zapped. Just scared it might make them worse!
