I enjoy your well explained Ashtanga tutorials very much. The only thing I'm missing in this one is the explanation of an "exit strategy" if you fall over. I don't know why, but most Yoga teachers conceal this topic. In the gymnastics sector You learn at the beginning how to proceed if You loose balance and this helps very to get rid of the fear from falling over! Even if exiting shirshasana backwards is not Ashtanga style ;) it helps a lot on the way to a perfect straight headstand.

Greetings Mr Khani! This morning in my practice I was able to do the full headstand for the first time, after many months of slowly working up to it. For me I really needed time to strengthen and correctly align my lower back and hips, while patiently developing the sensation of balance. Feedback and assistance in class all helped. I did try to use a wall a couple of times but that was a no go for me.

Great explanation! I particularly liked the shots of Jelena’s muscles flexing, because it gives me a better sense of how much muscular effort is going into the work. Also, great tip about puffing the the upper back; and again a great shot of that in action. Thank you.

Recently found you guys, and am hooked, you folks are totally drawing me into the practice slowly but surely, your videos are really engaging, and make a great team.
Mr. Connie, you are truly the calmest chihuahua I've ever seen, ( I've worked in dog rescue for many years in Ireland, so I've seen my fair share of sketchy chi's.) I think Mr. Connie has been practicing on the side. One of the long termers in my home is Churro the chihuahua, who will be consulting with Mr. Connie, to gather some helpful hints on how to be a gentleman.
Thanks folks , you guys are so endearing and really helpful and encouraging. Xxxx

If you could tutorial videos on all the marichyasanas in the primary series (A-D) that would be amazing especially taking into account that maybe some of us don't have access to classes or a teacher so how can help ourselves better so we can bind, or go deeper into the twist etc. Many thanks!!!

Thanks and LOVE the puppy!! :) SO strange with practice lately. Without a strain or fall etc. My legs started tingling in backbends etc and I lost what was an extremely stable sirsasana for months. Things are starting to get back to normal again...very strange but the tips here helped regain my stability with the pose....thanks again...and keep the puppy in the tutorials...too cute.

Thank you for this tutorial. Some teachers say to close the hands tight and put the top of the head on the wrists and lift up
What do you think of this? Though it is much harder but they say it is much safer for the neck.
    Thank you again ❤🙏

Really cool , thank you for this vidéo 🙏🏼 Connie is soo cute 🤩🐶(not really sure how to write it)he is the incarnation of Ananta the infinity of Shiva. I will focus on that on my next headstands ! More seriously these were really great tips and it was mostly being more conscious of all these mechanisms involved during the posture.

Ok!!!! now I know why I couldn't lift up my legs together. I am able to lift up my legs one first and then the other one. I will try your advices put the hips passing a little over the shoulders and try to lift up my legs pressing the knees. I will do it with a wall in my back. Thanks so much David and Jelena and of course, thanks to Mr. Conei (I am sorry I don't know how to write the name).

Bonjour, vos tutoriels sont merveilleux ! Merci
    Merci

It’s been a goal of mine for quite some time, and I’m so proud of myself for the accomplishment 😊 So now I work on it a little bit daily to improve my balance and posture etc. I will try your tips tomorrow 🧘🏻‍♀️😌🙏🏻
