It's always interesting watching your reviews Zeta Kai for all the considerations you do, in addiction to all the details and the beautiful framings you do to your kits! I think the Sinanju Stein is an awesome kit, with a so unique design and from what I've seen, it's incredibly good to build. You made a great video, the intro and outro with the Gunpla in the snow are imperious and a little bit romantic at the same time! Answering your interesting question, well I've started to build MG "regularly" only in the last year and a half/two years, because I didn't feel ready for them before. I've built only 10 MG at the moment (and I have the Wing EW Ver.ka from a couple of days and I can't wait to build it) and my personal top 3, at the moment (because I think Wing could fly just to the top) are: 1 - Gundam Barbados 2 - Gundam Wing Proto Zero EW 3 - Gundam Kyrios You made again a great video Zeta Kai, have a nice day, stay safe and see you next time!
@@zetakai6731 Ah ah ah ah! I trust you my friend, but you have to build at least one of them because they're all amazing in every aspect! The Barbatos is a very good choose, but the Kyrios is fully transformable and the Proto Zero is gorgeous! I'm happy of having built them and I wish you can do the same. Let me know if you're doing it...even if maybe you'll make a review in this case...ah ah ah! Have a nice day, see you next time!
My 1/100 scale Master Grade sinanju Stein narrative version comes with an extra Mega particle beam rifle, so I painted it with two-tone colors metallic black or some of the pieces and then I put pale gold on the outer casings and gave it to my Master Grade hyakushiki
Like the others, the hands are the main issue for this kit. This is also true for other variants of this kit which is the mg sinanju ova, mg sinanju nt, mg sinanju ova. For the price, they need to include a stand because it does have some minor balance issues.
If this is as good as the hguc, I wouldn't mind picking this thing up, even tho I tend to get more high grades, this would definitely be a mg I'd purchase
16:33 I have a sudden yearning to take my MG Sinanju Stein out into the snow and do a photoshoot… unfortunately mine hasn’t arrived yet and I don’t live near snow
Love this kit, prefer the Narrative version but do note you end up with soooooooooooo much leftover plastic with Sinanju Narrative because it includes everything you need to build this guy, too.
I didn't realize the hguc Stein is grey! I just thought it was white like the mg....I have the hg in my backlog hahah Edit. Just looked up some pictures. The Narrative version hg and mg are grey while the regular mg is white
Ive had this kit for at least a year and The only thing i found that lossened over time were the legs for me. It still can hold a pose but if you try to shake test it, the legs did not stay in place.
Built the red sinanju ova ver. That was still one of the best imo, is the stein narrative THAT much better? Who am i kidding, i’m getting it regardless.
Please, are there stickers, dry or water decals on this kit? Ordered it yesterday, un haste for it to be delivered! I'm some kind of a newbie in Gunpla world but from what I've seen, watched and searched, this model is among the most beautiful (in its range /scale/price point) that I have seen, particularly because of its mighty look despite being quite "simple" armor design. I mean not too many protruding parts, wings elements and so on... Thank you for your review, and maybe your answer to my question about decals. Or stickers. I have to say that I have not been able to watch the full video, being at work... Thank you for your help.
I had the bit at the wrist on the left hand break, actually, rather than the fingers. Now I just keep the gunzooka combo in the right hand using the dedicated grippy hand and transplanted the wrist joint from the unused right hand to replace the one on the left. Surgery!
@@39fwhatisthehandletoday I had the ball of the ball joint break off....I glued it but the ball still liked to come free if I move the hand. I may use the right hand off the 3.0 rx78 if I want to use something that isn't a beam sabre.
@@stevenhida It is possible to buy replacement hands of this style, looks like they go for anywhere from $6-10 USD. I'm not quite there yet thankfully but good to know they are a thing.
No issues with mine. The construction is basically the same as the regular Sinanju ver. Ka. It reuses the same part for the port, but the peg for the Stein is on a new runner. However, the Stein's peg is identical in construction, diameter, and length. The only difference is the use of polystyrene (PS) on the Stein, versus the ABS in the Sinanju ver. Ka. It seems that's another checkmark in the "Win" column for PS over ABS.
Yes! I should've turned it up more. I was so scared one of the pieces of the ALL WHITE Stein had fallen off in the snow. But, nay! This kit is too solid for that.
im really surprised you mentioned absolutely nothing about the dreaded waist peg issue and calling it a good first gunpla ever is even more surprising due to how notorious the waist peg in these kits breaking
That shot of it in the snow... heaven.
coming here so many years later to say... well this got released in 2013 not 2020, and getting a final revision next year damn
Dude.. that thumbnail though 👍

I actually haven't built any of those 3! Can you believe it? I really want to build the Barbatos, though.

MG Barbatos is also my top 3 🤘
My other two are
- MG Sazabi ver Ka
- MG Provedence
Loved the R34/Sinanju Stein comparison.
Just finished this kit. Very impressive. One of my faves of the year
"Cold open." Lol. Awesome
I'm still holding my breath for a PG SINANJU STEIN! Imagine all the added details, open hatch gimmicks, LED's, etc. Get your act together Bandai...
You might have to hold your breath longer,
if it's ever happened, most likely it's the red one that will get made.
Still holding?
0:11 nice 👌👍😄
Epic review man!
Narrator: It's a cold opening!
Sinanju Stein: Nah bruh, that's cringe *falls*
Honestly the fact that it can hold its beam rifle with no issues sold me on this kit
Thank for your reviews

love the r34 skyline reference
Three greatest rappers of all time
1. Dylan
2. Dylan
3. Dylan
Spitting hot fire 🔥 😂😂😂
one of the main reasons i want to get this kit is for that mega bazooka as it can attach to the bottom of the main gun from the sazabi ver ka

the underside of the shield is really similar to the Nu gundam. i prefer this color over regular red sinanju tho

Wait so na comes with 2 kits in 1?
I honestly like the Unicorn version more.

I didn't know the Sinanju stein were built for F.F
The release date for Sinanju stein ver ka is Feb 2013 though
I really liked this kit.... My only problem were the 3.0 hands....
I had the bit at the wrist on the left hand break, actually, rather than the fingers. Now I just keep the gunzooka combo in the right hand using the dedicated grippy hand and transplanted the wrist joint from the unused right hand to replace the one on the left. Surgery!
Yeah the hands were so frustrating. But loved the kit otherwise.

Damn decent kit imo, looks good all around
I built 2 PGs many MGs and to many HGs this kit has been my favorite for almost 5 years still
What about the decals?
I've been eyeing for this kit for a long time but the price is pretty steep for me that mostly play HG.
R34 for the win!
I have the bootleg version and its dope af
Does this sinanju also suffers from the weak waist joint too ?
No
No issues with mine.

top 3 MG:
Char's Zaku-ii
Black Tri-Stars Zaku
psycho Zaku
I could hear the plastic hit the snow

i picked up the Stein NT so that i could give my Hi-Nu the leftover Hi-beam rifle
Cool idea!
Dynames, Stein ver ka, and Nu Gundam Ver Ka
im really surprised you mentioned absolutely nothing about the dreaded waist peg issue and calling it a good first gunpla ever is even more surprising due to how notorious the waist peg in these kits breaking
Wasn’t that only the ova sinanju and the sinanju ver ka? The sinanju stein kits doesn’t seem to have this issue.
Good, not great, im definitely gonna mod mine and get it up to par tho
duh, its ver.Ka
you paid its quality PRICE beforehand :)
I would take an R34 skyline over a ferrari any day.
