The sinanju stein ve.ka was one of my first mgs and first ver.kas. I like it the best. The only downside, like stated, was the hand I don't care for that style of hands at all. I've only built three ver.kas. This still holds up as the best ver.ka for me to date. Obviously, as model kits have progressed, some more details could be added. But it's a soldid kit that has a nice shelf presence, and it's sturdy. It's one of the few kits I'd want to build again and paint.
An all time great MG. Joshua Darrah’s interpretation of this kit is by far one of the greatest executions of style on plastic I ever seen performed without any 3rd party add ons. Its crazy to think that was 10 years ago. Time flies.
Fun Fact: Sazabi ver. Ka's Long Rifle is also compatible with Sinanju's bazooka, so if you were wanting to donate the Stein's bazooka to another kit but your Sinanju already has one, you can just give it to Sazabi.
Really like the design of this suit but was really hoping this model was also released as a HGUC since I wanted to try repainting it in a Hyaku-shiki color scheme .
Love articulated hands never broke any on any kit I've had that has them. I understand that people have unfortunate luck with them, but I much prefer having fully possible hands than switching them out all the time. It makes me sad that all the hate for them has led to bandai not including them in newer kits anymore. Same goes with standing pilots on RG kits.
So, just as a funny fact. The sinanju stein is basically the main UC continuity version of the Hi Nu Gundam. In the sense of being a more developed Nu gundam, in this case with parts from the HWS Nu
I personally got the narrative version of the stien as I prefer the much more dark grey and navy blue of the narrative version Aldo helps the brown inner frame enhances the other colors I have the narrative stien next to its unit brother the sinanju and these two hsve quite the shelf presence
Does anyone know if the MG Turn A Gundam has been discontinued? I can't find it for sale anywhere other than on aftermarket sources for steeply inflated prices.
Almost no kits get discontinued. It just takes a while for reprints to happen. So you don't have to lose all hope, and just need to wait, if you want to get it for a decent price. Maybe the time in between reprints will get better once the factory expansion finishes this year.
@@fattiger6957They don't but the MG Turn A is popular enough that you'll only have to wait a few years between reprints. You're just looking for it at a bad time

Here's past reprint dates for MG Turn A to get you an idea of how often it happened April 2022 June 2020 April 2019 I see a box or two in retail from time to time for around 9000 yen but that's about it
I'm saving a spare head antenna "crest" from one of my MG OVA Sinanju's that I used the conversion kit on for the Narrative Stein coming out cause the only thing I don't like about Stein is it's "too bald" for my taste. Other than that it's Sinanju, & Sinanju is such an incredible design in all of it's versions.
I've acually had this for a long time. But I still don't think I'm quite good enough to tackle it yet as I really want to do a full metallic paint job on the inner frame. One day.
As someone who also broke the fingers on the RX-78 Origin's hands, I share the hatred in those manipulators. Looks like you can still open and close the fingers on this kit after you glued them on though. Or was it the right hand where the fingers came off? In which case, good thing you can still put the different weapons in it. Also, would you say the middle torso joint weakness is the same as the anime version kit?
The hands get too much hate. If theyre the same ones from sazabi/nu verka, i love them. They hands however from the mg rx78-2 3.0 are less than good. And that bazooka also connects to sazabi verka beam rifle too. Looks amazing!
Exclude special versions then we had: MG Sinanju Ver Ka. MG Sinanju OVA MG Sinanju Stein Ver Ka MG Sinanju Stein Narrative OVA MG Sinanju Stein Narrative Ver Ka. (Upcoming)
the "new" on is actually an old one, just with new sleeves only MG Narrative C-Packs Ver Ka is truly a new Master Grade this year. The rest are either recolors or variations of existing kits.
i really love this kit but all the sinanjus make me incredibly disappointed that they couldnt incorporate a full ab crunch bc the when youre building it up, the inner frame without the cockpit has an insane one that gets blocked by the cockpit and armor you add on.
The upcoming one is essentially a 2.0 of the Narrative Version of the Sinanju Stein that was off white and had the "Sleeves " iconography of the red Sinanju. The major difference being the sleeves iconography being actual color separated pieces rather than stickers. The one in this video is the canonical in-universe original version that was later modified by the Sleeves into the red design for Full-Frontal. IRL I think it was designed after. If someone knows for sure, feel free to correct me on that. Does this mean we're getting a color separated 2.0 of the anime version of the red Sinanju soon?
I have the Sinanju OVA and while I've also gravitated towards fixed posed hands vs fully articulated hands, I'll take the Stein Ver.Ka's articulated hands any day. I find that the long pull-out pegs are really good at holding weapons securely. Meanwhile the Sinanju OVA's hands with the TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE shallow and fixed peg can't hold any of the kit's included weapons even if its life depended on it. I've had the OVA for years now and I'm still salty over the fact that it can't hold the massive combined bazooka unassisted. It's false advertising that they put that in the box art.
bought the bootleg version. absolutely hated the way the skirt joints were designed. the ball jointed skirts meant they have very limited range of motion compared to the usual style skirt joints learned that some of the ver kas also shared this kind of skirt joint design. terrible idea

This is one of the most imposing gunpla ever, put it on a shelf and it will just awesome in any pose. Magnificent kit.
MAYBE my favorite MG of all time. absolutely killer kit
The Sinanju Stein’s red eyes, I think, are symbolic of the inner madness of its pilot, Zoltan Akkanen.
This is not the Zoltan Sinanju, this is supposed to be the one Frontal "stole" and after that converted to the red Sinanju
The master grade version Katoki is just around the corner and I’m dying for it!
Well the new one
$46 is a fair price considering I spent $90 on this kit on Amazon
I have this one but I am still getting the Narrative Sinanju Stein so I can have a display with it and the Narrative Gundam. Fantastic kit.
I really like the version without the sleeves. This is awesome

The sinanju stein has the COOLIST BACKSTORY
Your review brought back so many memories, I still love my MG Sinanju Stein Ver.Ka! 🚀🤖
one of my favorite master grades and i love the articulated hands
I think the Sinanju Stein is my favorite mobile suit design of all time.

A 10 year back log is nuts my guy! Wait, is this my future?😬
I still do not have a Sinanju kit in any grade and I don't know why! I love that beam rifle!!!
I just built one during Chinese New Year break, one of my favorite designs(i have three versions) Amazing kit and l loved the build

I built this one and i really enjoyed it. The only real issue i had was that the beam rifle is very heavy.
Ayy, just started building this last night!

Worth to buy sinanju stein narrative verka if i got this verka?
Built a master grade MS-09 DOM . Really impressed with how many extra parts I got in box.
