Enjoyed video. Was there last week so nice to notice some places i went to. Should have known about paying at the airport coz those lines were hella long! Im noticing the video quality, beautiful. What camera do u use?
The Atlas lions have not disappeared; they have only become extinct in their natural habitats in the wild. However, they still exist in the Moroccan Rabat zoo, thanks to the royal family, who kept them in their private gardens.
I’m so happy that you chose to visit the beautiful kingdom of Morocco 🇲🇦 I promise that this will not be your last visit. You WILL be coming back again and again. You’re more than welcome at any time ❤ Enjoy!
Your next trip you should visit Azamour the birth place of Moustafa Zamouri (Estebanico) the first black man to step on the American Continent and gained his freedom through leadership and courage. Just a thought since you are interested in black history and culture.
Really enjoyed this detailed vlog going there next month can not wait although a bit nervous I hope it lives up to expectations Is there any way I can get in touch with Abdul gani he seems like he nos what he’s talking about 😊
You can buy it when you get your ticket. If you fly business or if you have status with your carrier (Gold, Platinum etc) you have access to fast track and the vip lounge.
or you can pay cash when you land but it must be cash. The agent let me pay after they helped us through. She just came with me to get the money and I paid her. Everyone is very nice and welcoming!
The was good wrote a cpl things down maybe visit them, going Jan 16th on my motorbike Glasgow to Plymouth...as long as no snow....ferry Santander 660 miles to the ferry buzzing for it....thanks.
Interesting to see African treasures and other regions have ended up in Morocco (and many other places) to these curators, this is largely due to the combined forces of colonial looting, trade networks, European interference in African affairs, and the global art market which serves western interests to take and own. Many curators overseeing these collections are from European culture and descent due to the ongoing dominance of Western institutions in the museum and heritage sectors. Efforts should be made to repatriate these treasures and correct historical wrongs.
Yep just learned that. I think there was extra context that I left out like consistent family name or something. I cant remember bc it was a quick 24 hours.
"marrakech" or Morr Akkosh means the Land Of God in Amazigh (native African language in Morocco), i don't know where he come up with that "To cross quickly"
The first black owned hotel in Morocco? That's incorrect my brother. We have millions of black moroccans who own many hotels all through the country but especially in the south.
Non Moroccan and a five star? Also, I hear that a lot of moroccans dont refer to themselves as black but that was not the case when i went to visit. I never felt so at home! Have you heard that also?
Welcome to Morocco I hope you enjoyed your stay in this magnificent kingdom. To tell you that England is the 4th oldest monarchy, Japan comes first and Morocco is second. I advise you to read the history of Morocco it is just fascinating!!
@@Craiglou Having been there, I can tell you the locals dont like their photos taken UNLESS YOU ASK. Most are adverse to photos, but will accommodate if nicely asked.

The oldest monarchie is JAPAN not England. Morocco is up there with the oldest monarchies. But not the second oldest .1 Japan 2 Cambodia 3 Oman 4 Morocco 5 united kingdom. Morocco is the fourth oldest monarchie in the world.
🤣🤣 Correction! The oldest monarchy is Japan, 667 years old, then Morocco in 789 years, then Denmark, please don't talk nonsense. I studied the history of Andalusia and some European monarchies and now I'm diving into the history of Japan and China.
@shirazadaonizuka6980 you haven't got a clue you can't even explain yourself in English never mind your lies about your andalusian historical study. The Japanese monarchie was created 7 centuries before jesus christ According to tradition, the office of emperor was created in the 7th century BC, The role of the emperor of Japan has historically alternated between a largely ceremonial symbolic role and that of an actual imperial ruler.Morocco my country was a sulanate of three different families the last is the alaouites dynastie that originated from Yemen. And not one word about the 1000's of scammers during the daytime and the rippers and hoodlums during the evening/night. Great buildings, great views, poor food; everything tastes like sugar, some friendly people but so sad they threaten and steal from the tourists; their main source of income. Glad i went last week but i'll never be coming back here due to the scammers and rippers.
marhaba in Marrakech... good resumee of all touristic, but not authentic marrakech :) the "women coop" is absolutely not woman's related :) it is a regular antique store :))) and your tour guide knows everyone, because they are partners, he get a percentage on your buys :) please come back and i will show you "real" and friendly locals that are not paid to smile :)
I usually never do but I had to get cash for the fast track. I used an ATM when I got into town after that! Great advice because they usually get you at the airport. Morocco seems to be more of a fair play country where they are trying to ruin tourism through gauging.

Hello, the oldest monarchy in the world is the Japanese, the 2nd is the Moroccan, and the 3rd is the British. Thank you for an exquisite video.
Hey thank you for that and you are correct. Maybe it was the one with a family name or some other factor!. Good to know!

I confirm 👍 👍👍👍👍
