  • I’m in Morocco during the month of Ramadan; the holiest month for Muslims around the world. I’ll be joining the locals in Marrakech and the Berber village of Imlil for the traditional breaking of fast, Iftar meal.
Many visitors aren’t sure whether Ramadan is a good time to visit Morocco but I’d really encourage you to do so because it’s such a unique holiday to witness! Lots of establishments serve food during the day because they know tourists aren’t fasting, and hotels serve alcohol and food. It’s just extra special during Ramadan because you get to experience Moroccan culture and its many traditions.
A huge thank you to Yaya for showing me some of the food spots in Marrakesh and inviting me into his family home for a home cooked Iftar, it was truly wonderful:

Also thank you to Lahcen who arranged the beautiful experience joining an Amazigh family for Iftar and an amazing hike around the village of Imlil. He runs the most amazing lodge too:

"there is no big difference right in the culture because the the religion becomes by islamic religion so berbers are the muslims as well and arabs are muslims so mostly we are concentrating with everything that comes in the quran". thank you to my brother Lahcen for your words, Islam unites all Muslims under one source: the Holy Quran.

Morocco is one of the greatest countries worth visiting not only because it is historically and culturally amazing, but also its people are exceptionally hospital. They are the very people who love to offer a hand of help. You can't be left without help while you are asking them for help. May Allah bless us and make of us the better versions.
Thanks for sharing our story to the world. I am typing this message on the first Ramadan day of 2024. Peace and love!

It’s all amazing beautiful. Thank you. In every vid l feel as being there. The peppermint teas in Arabia are the most tasty
I ever drunk, very well balance in flavour and sweet. I love Arabic food too, because of the spices and herbs used.
Cultures are something magic, every culture is unique according to territories, traditions. Thank you.
The most touching part was the Berber village with the mountain view for me. Heavenly experience with this humble family.
I am so in awe of it. You are so lucky Angelica going around the world for cultural exploration, and the outcomes of the documentaries are extraordinary, and something to be proud off. I like especially your calmness, explaining your points in a compassionate sensitive manner. The feeling being there with you in all these exotic ancient places is overwhelming, and radiates positive vibrations, gives hope for a peaceful life all people want globally. 🌞❤️Thank you.
