Thanks for this video. I'm hoping to try my first pano soon and found this video during my research. I tend to always transfer my full SD card to my computer and just work from there. I am confused on these. Sounds like I should really focus the pano to the phone first if I want to say upload it to Facebook. I was hoping native software on my Mac could handle the pano for viewing versus needing more third party apps. Plan to play around with it soon. Thanks for the video.
Yes, you'd think it would be easier to display, it'll come soon. The best place to put them is Google maps which I show here th-cam.com/video/bsWsJ_dypuk/w-d-xo.html
I am so impressed the way you walk to the middle of the town square and get the drone launched, I always seem to feel like I’m doing something unlawful (I know I’m not) so I’m stealth like, even in very quiet places. Great video.
I thinkbits a blend of being bold and going for it but also being g super respectful of people's space and Privacy, and safety. Then people are actually fascinated and want to chat which can be distracting.
Thanks for the video. I have uploaded my 360 successfully to the Facebook, but failed with the Instagram. How to put the 360 to Insta, could you give any advice?
Thanks @SlipstreamCreativeAgency. If I'd have known about this feature earlier I'd have definitely been using it a lot more! Annoyingly, We shot a nationally award winning venue with our mini 4 pro but didn't know about this as we were focusing on the video aspects! Great video.
🤣 I just did a commercial job with the Air 3 shooting a diused football pitch for a developer and I've just released an updated version of this video, and while editing I kicked myself for not doing this shot for them..agh.
Hello! Where can I find photos in DNG format to make a 360 degree panorama myself? In a separate program, not in the drone itself. I want to buy such a drone, but I want to see first what quality the 360 panoramas are obtained
GREAT tutorial that helped me a lot! THANK YOU. However I failed to publish on Facebook or download interactive sphere pictures on iPhone 15 PRO or MacBook Air. Is that a known limitation you know of? Kind regards and thanks a lot in advance! :-)
I'm assuming 360 jpg is on controller. You should be able to turn drone on, open app and click quick transfer and choose the 360. Should then play 360 on phone through dji app. Then go to FB. Have you tried putting the card in a reader and slotting that into mac? Don't rename or edit image.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency All correct, thanks. But sharing to FB does simply nothing. Getting a sphere image to iPhone and May work both properly. But only as "flat" JPEG file! The nice spatial look&feel is missing. I suppose Android handles it smart (= correctly) unlike Apple? Thanks and greetings from Germany! :-)
Great tutorial. On my Mini4-pro it works just the sam! I wonder if there's a way to export a movie-clip form the 'viewer-app' in the controller.... (2:15 on timeline). Is there a DJI-app how can do this?
Great Video, I’m still struggling to share the 360 image in the sphere format. I can view the sphere on the DJI fly app, but screenshot just takes a normal image, I want to be able to share the sphere to Facebook, what am I missing 🤦♂️
Hi, Tim, I just shot 360 sphere mode with my DJI mini 4 pro, I'm using Mac laptop, (MacOS) How do I stich them together as an interactive photo ? Can I use LightRoom or Premere Pro? I already take all video and photos out of my Mini 4 pro memery card into my computer. Thank you if you can give me advise.
Hey buddy, you don't do any editing. It's already created, but the raw individual files are also there, ignore those. You're looking for a flat jpg that looks weird, likebits got some vertical mirror effect going on. That's the one, but you can only see it as 360 when uploaded to Facebook or Google or a sphere viewer. Trying to remember, I think you find the file with your video files, not in the pano folder. Let me know of you find it 🫡
Hi Tim, a question if I may - I have followed the steps up to 4:10 in your video but when I try and load to FB I don't get the 360 feature and just get a photo ! Please can you advise what I have done wrong ??? I am using DJI Mini 3 Pro with either iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPad Gen 9
Saving screenshots are just 2d photos. What file are you sharing that remains a scrollable, spherical file? Not quite clear on that - Need to use a file manager and drill down into DJI Fly App Album files?
Good question, sorry if that's not 100% clear. You simply use that jpg. (shown at 05:20 ) Withuot a viewer it will appear flat but Facbook recognises and has built in player to display the 360°. On your mobile it works when your inside the DJI Fly app or in the gallery on the Samsung you tap 'view 360° photo' (shown at 04:05 ) and it has some really interesting viewing options. Let me know how you get on.
@SlipstreamCreativeAgency Absolutely. The Fly App viewer works well, but is obviously limited and not helpful for sharing the files. This was the essence of my questions - I will let you know Tim!
Welcome to the community. Thanks for subscribing. The quick-transfer promt will pop up when the drone is on and you open the mobile app only and not on the RC. Try that buddy.
I like the idea. When I tried editing an image it then didn't work. Maybe to do with how the file is saved. I'm sure it must be possible. I'll try again and let you know.
Absolutely brilliant that you worked out the multitude of ways to view these on Social Media, Web Pages and others. I am good with the capturing - but was never able to find a good PC "stitching" app for panorama photos. Perhaps I need to simply get a viewer and use the generated files DJI creates? I am anxious to try more spere photo's with the New Air 3 I just acquired since it also can point the camera up 60 degrees mitigating the need to patch a "blue blur" of fake sky for the upward views. Thanks Tim!
@SlipstreamCreativeAgency It's an impressive package. For all to a "smaller sensor" - without any consideration that it's a stacked, front illuminated, dual native ISO, a really good lens, paired with a second camera that shoots in the same color, Log, FPS with super high ISO (12800) night mode that works. BOTH cameras do all of it, including Mastershots, Quickshots Hyperlapse, POI, Spotlight, Active Track. Panoramas are the exception. Quite impressive!
@SlipstreamCreativeAgency Better is a though word - its obviously incredible. Let's just say DJI was wise to deliver Air 3 after waiting to sell a lot of Mavic 3 Pro's. Air 3 is a better fit for someone like me, and possibly yourself sure the big daddy Hasselblad is king. But unless you really have client work requirements for it, you can do 80-90% of the same work with Air 3. Waypoints, long flight times and a pair of cameras thar are well matched for look, color, and features. Oh.. and is half the price. DJI knew a lot of Air 3 buyers would want, but no longer really need Mavic 3 Pro. I don't plan to sell it... yet. But some folks are doing just that 🤔
I throughly enjoyed this video - I was looking for more instruction on how to do the various panos on the Mini 3 Pro - I have subscribed and looking forward to more videos on the Mini 3 Pro. Thank you!

Check the image on yourr controller, youll see a workd symbol on the image and then open and view as 360. Try and transfer the original to your phone and put it straight on Facebook. I'm sure it will work.

Agh! I know your frustration. The image is 2d but needs a 3d player with the right algorithm.
