A question I haven't found the answer for yet... If the drone is returning to home but is in sports mode, are the sensors off? I believe that's why I crashed my drone.
Hi Darren question if I move the left stick diagonally to the lower right and the right stick diagonally to the lower left won't the props stop in the air as that's how you start and stop the motors or does the mini 3 know your flying dont want to drop my drone out of the sky lol great info thanks
Great stuff - have recently got the DJI Mini 3 Pro so enjoying these! Easiest orbit move is surely using POI and then it does the orbit for you - just have to pick direction
just reach Gambia today with my new dji mini 3 pro, being new to flying how much fun i'm having. your footage is awesome and teaching me so much. thank youy
This is the best channel and content, as a beginner into drone photography I find this very helpful to gain more knowledge and learning from experienced seasoned drone pilot and creator. There is a lot of Dji mini 3 content and I find it helpful and I know where I can start off on low budget as a photographer, Keep up with the good work
Top notch video Darren, master these 5 is all you will ever need. Every show, advert, they all have drone shots that have these very shots you just shared with us. 👍
Thank you so much! You are so right about the effects that were applied in Hollywood films, nothing fancy, simple and effective. It was something like the text animations, after all the fancy staff, designers usually back to basics, a simple fade in, fade off will be nice enough!
Question: for the Orbit shot, did you previously disable CSC Emergency Shutdown? Surely those two stick movements (down and in or down and out) will activate CSC Stop and the drone will fall out of the sky. Or does this not happen with the Mini 3 Pro software as it does with other DJI?
@@davidcavaliere1525 That is what I thought (long time DJI user here). But this got me wondering if they'd done something else with the MP3P (unlikely).
The shut down will only happen if you continuously move the sticks to the diagonal positions. Doing the orbit shot won’t enable to shut down as you only move to that position once. Not continuously. I must of done more than 1000 orbits and never once has it turned the propellors off.
6:14 for orbit, when you do that i noticed the drone descending when you do that move, should that be happening or should it stay the same height? right stick you should be moving first then the left then holding both?
Hi Darren, good to watch and learn from you these fantastic moves. I am at the moment learning to keep my shots nice and slow. What a difference it makes.
Hi Darren, awesome video I am new to the drone scene but I am already feeling like a pro just watching your 5 drone moves. Hopefully soon I am able to reach your skill level. Good job👌
Shot 4, having the left joystick diagonally downwards to the left, isn't that downward left movement? won't you eventually crash into something? I don't own a drone but, I know the left joystick arrow up goes up then down arrow goes down, I'm lost.
The orbital as you shown it will just stop your rotors and the drone will fall down. The orbital move is done in two ways: Left stick to the left + right stick to the right...or left stick to the right + right stick to the left
This is not correct, the emergency propellor stop open happens when you continuously move the sticks in that direction and for a orbit you would only move it once not continuously hence why I haven’t lost hundreds of drones doing orbits over the years.
@@DMProductionsleeft one down-left will lower the hight and rotate and right one down-right will according to me turn and make the distance longer to the subject, not?
Yes, if you have a DJI drone with active tracking (like the mini 3 pro) you can track your subject, then use the master shot which now also includes the orbit move.
I need help. I have a mini three with the controller with the built-in screen. I see videos of great footage on TH-cam but nothing on how to download the video footage. I found 2 methods to either download the videos onto my cellphone using the DJI app or to my controller but then it turns into a circus. One method wants me to scan a bar code on my iPhone, the other says to pair the controller to the drone and neither works. I have a SD card in the controller and one in the drone. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi can I ask you to give me some tips on an event I doing this Saturday .It’s a ghost ship event loads of long boats are travelling up the river don .can you send me the best setting to capture this all the boats will be lit up I have a mini 3 pro .hope you can help .cheers Steve hall Doncaster flyer

I did NOT expect to you to be in the hot tub, hilarious. Great short video. I'm still waiting for you to tell me how to get your presets into ADOBE CAMERA RAW.
I think you should add additional info regarding the Orbit sequence after all its been questioned many times now although these posts have not been replied to by yourself unlike the majority of others.
@@DMProductions thanks!! Love your videos. Just got my mini 3 pro (had the phantom 4 first, then the original MAVIC pro-didn’t use either very much, but this one? I’ll use all the time). I really appreciate learning all of this great information from you. 😊

Hi Bro, should we practice with cheaper drone 1st before we get DJI?

I was just about to post this question myself.

Darren has answered the qiestion on Danny's he asked the same thing
@@philtasker2265 yes he did - well sort of. A follow up question was put to him requesting clarification of terms used which was never answered.

Newcomers to drones really need to watch and practice this. Great job of introducing these basic but super important and highly effective techniques!
Incredible footage and even better tuition
7:30 wont that do an emergency shutoff of the drone? when you do the sticks like that?

Just what I commented, yea mp3 will shut off with this stick movement
@@davidcavaliere1525 That is what I thought (long time DJI user here). But this got me wondering if they'd done something else with the MP3P (unlikely).
The CSC command only works in the event of an emergency already detected by the drone, unless you change the setting to "anytime"
I think Darren needs to jump in here as he posted the Orbit sequence but didn’t add additional info if needed.

mind blowing moves...i m new in drone flyings so pls advice how can rotate gimble left/right during flying
The quality from the mini 3 pro in this video is amazing
Great tips Darren.
Thank you
I like the reveal. Adding gimbal really changes things.
thanks! Is there a way to lock a movement once thumbs are placed, or have to stay as steady as possible?
you gotta be steady! The mini Pro has no cruise control
Where is the link to the sound music . Very solid and effective advice keep it simple
Love this video, also where are those cabins in the woods? I have to go there.
Thanks a lot for this 5 drone moves! Can these be made on cine mode ??
Thanks for all the great advise!

Does that orbit shot make altitude lower because you are pressing the left joystick diagonally down??
Another spectacular video . Incredible!

Great video mate thanks. Which is the place with the hotels on the cliff?
During the orbit move, sticks diagonally down and inward, do you run the risk of shutting off the propellers? Great vids, wish I was flying now.

Excellent video. Brilliant
Great information video- new to DJI drones! Can I ask if all these moves are in Cine mode?
you can start them in cine and the progress to normal and sports mode for different effect
are u on cinematic mode while doing this shot?

Is there a function where I could set it to do the orbit motion for me (automatic ) without fiddling with those buttons?

I’m not bragging but I think my grandma could have done the reveal shot too. Lol. Great info as always, man.

You’re welcome 😊
OK my friend let’s check it out
Let’s go
The orbit shot looks like the same stick position as the emergency stop. How does one avoid the propellers from stopping, when doing this move?
You’ll be fine, I must of done a million orbits and never have the propellors stopped

I thought both sticks down and inward was for emergency power off?
Only if done consistently in that direction
