Good to see that styro has confirmed that he's survived his own brand of insanity for another year.
I'm wondering if this is "if you bring this outside, you must call NASA first" level lol.

Ngl, I feel like some of his “fans” tend to work themselves up more than is necessary. Dude knows what he’s doing.

I'd say its more of how every video he makes convinces us that he is more likely to die between uploads, rather than being worked up or relieved.
Thats true
Nah he's just been on his Disney Princess Arc
watching the radiometer spin that fast was actually the one thing so far in the video that legitimately made me fear this device

Is that from energy stored in the inductors of the transformer in the form of a magnetic field?
@@jefferyduke6532 magnetic fields kind of are what stores energy in instructors. I'm assuming in this case it's probably a combination of that, and the capacitors draining off.
Depending on the switching circuit that runs the flyback transformer, it could be doing some LC resonance shenanigans that aren't getting interrupted by the power switch and basically have to ring down to zero.

If you've seen his video on eye safety it's a safe bet. He's crazy, but certainly doesn't mess around when it comes to his eyes.
You had this thought as well I see
hes very careful and a big advocate when it comes to eye safety. Theres no way it will happen unless its at the hands of someone else
@@CommentFrom I will say this. Even professionals mess up. I don't care how many years of experience you have. It can happen to anyone. I have seen more than 1 safety advocate loose their fingers to a table saw mishap due to the 1 second of "I can get away with it this 1 time." And these guys are not stupid. One I knew was a wood worker for 45 years before he lost 2 of his fingers. He was a massive saftey advocate, but got comfortable 1 time. Lost his fingers after 45 years of safe shop practices. For that reason I will never make those kinds of bets for sure. Because the second you are an expert and start to feel that it will not happen to you is the second it gets you. As my old mentor put it which I think applies here as well. "tools (or lazers) are inhumanly patient. They can wait decades or even century for their moment to strike. And the second you let your guard down is when they bite ya."
Remember everyone. It can happen to you. And it is my experience it is the "experts" who are more likely to hurt themselves. At least among people who have a basic level of knowledge. (obviously plenty of people who do not know better get themselves killed or hurt.)
