I can think of a few reasons. Outside the show, he's pretentious, self rightious, and loves certain.. mild altering substances. But sure, 'like' him for a single video, a snippet of his life where he is at his possible best. Internet man.. it rots you. Only shows the best, not the rest.

Saw him live back in November. He was incredibly humble and would occasionally thank everyone for being there in-between songs. He brought out a guitar and did a few acoustic versions of his songs. Right before that he said "alright everyone. This is the boring part of the show so if you gotta go number two do it now"
i saw him live a month ago with red hot chili peppers. he was amazing. he came and high-fived everyone in the front row including me, was very special 😇

I’m a big RHCP fan but I honestly enjoyed Posty so much more. I think because I didn’t have any expectations or idea of what his show would be like. I’ve always known he was talented and respected that but he seems like such a good bloke

Never stop being yourself Posty, he always is so genuinely kind and open and honest with the people around him. He is weird and totally embraces it.
I love all of his interview questions they're always so different and sometimes he even surprises the guests with questions they've never heard before
Post is such a positive guy and you can tell he goes by a rule similar to “treat people how you want to be treated” and he gives off such genuineness
I honestly feel like he doesn't need rules or codes so to speak, he's just like that. :) in my experience the nicest people are so genuine because they just have a beautiful outlook on life in general (doesn't mean they can't be sad or upset, but kinda like an extra appreciation for the small things most of us seem to miss or something)

It’s always great when post randomly pops up, I don’t listen to him or keep up with him, but I absolutely adore his demeanor. Also great background music for this interview, really fits his personality.
To be completely honest I'm not a fan of rap and I listen to about 3 of his songs but I'm still a fan. He's so down to earth and chill, just lights up the whole room. I agree with another comment, he is the perfect example of don't judge a book by its cover.

I do not like Posty's music at all. But I like Posty quite a bit. He is exactly as you describe him. Down to earth while being an absolute smash hit music star, even though he isn't for me. He's fun to listen to interviews of.

I think Post Malone is a perfect example of "Don't judge a book by it's cover." I'm almost 60 years old and I would not describe myself as a fan of rap music. When I heard his name for the first time I was thinking here's another gimmick name for someone to make some money off of. Then I saw pictures of him with the tattoo's and thought who does that. But, then I came across some interviews with him that showed me he is actually a very polite young man that is down to earth and just has a different style than what I grew up with. Being older I kind of not like when people say Sir to me but, I can tell when he says Sir it is out of respect of the other person even when they are in the same age range as he is. I watched this video because of the few other times I have seen him and glad I did. I learned even more nice things about this young man. Keep up the good work Post Malone.

I feel the same, even when he first became popular I wasn't on board. But once I found out that he is a true musician, and can even play instruments I started to follow him. It’s sad anyone would “judge” him on his looks, what just because he’s different and doesn’t fit YOUR narrative, whose to say how you should look, I definitely agree his personality outshines even the most “beautiful” LOOKING people on this planet, I love Post Malone’s personality I would just love to be his friend he is so down to earth and just a great all around person he is very unique I have never once seen him be rude or mean to anybody ever, he is such a nice person
