      I’m very torn because I always believe that no person is truly bad or good and we shouldn’t look up to anyone else really…
      One of my family members is head of security at a hotel where Tom stayed at to play golf and Tom was very demanding telling my FM to go get a certain brand of cigars for him despite having his own teams around and told the hotel to remove everyone else off the golf course. My FM had to travel nearly 20 miles to find this brand of cigar and he said that overall Tom was not pleasant to speak to or deal with.
      Having said that, they had worse experiences with some other people, especially footballers who actually drank drove and crashed their R8 into the hotel car park and regularly smashed the rooms apart. I felt disappointed to hear about that incident with Tom but perhaps he has changed or it is something he regrets behaviour wise

      @@FatTonyTheSkipper There are literally millions of people who didn't drink, didn't waste their hours on trivial nonsense, and didn't squander their opportunities. In fact, some of them are 30-60+ years of age, and worked 12x as hard as Holland or any other young-blood. Some did it totally alone. Some even have thrice the talent, and a far more disciplined, well-studied, broader set of skills...
      Yet just as I stated, that isn't how it works! Like Downey Jr., Holland was LUCKY. Same as Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchette, Warren Buffett, 3l0n Mu$k, Chump, Kimmel, Dinklage, Hedy Lamarr, Vlad Puton, Shenko, Schwarzenegger, D1ddee, Theranos chick, Bankman-Fraud, and thousands of others from all sorts of countries of origin. That's just how it is: once fortune and awesome circumstances arrive, there's nothing a person could do to F it up, lol. :) You could go to jail, go broke, swindle people, do druggz, bang hook-urrz, party hard or anything else and all would be forgiven. But again... meanwhile... there are millions of folks who were (and are) far more disciplined, talented, dedicated, etc. It is what it is. #facts

    I’m 17 and have never drank, and after seeing people like Tom modeling sobriety I never will.
    I’ve had some pretty great mock tails, but I don’t see a point in getting drunk. The line, “you’ll never wake up and wish you’d drank,” kinda sealed the deal for me.

    • @giulia6344
      @giulia6344 หลายเดือนก่อน +36

      You can drink without getting drunk. It’s not all one or the other. Tom’s experience is definitely a very real one and part of a wilder societal problem with drinking just for the sake of getting messed up, especially as a young person, but it’s also very much possible to drink just to enhance a meal. A good wine, paired with whatever dish, etcetera. Making everything black or white is never the solution.
      That being said, you do you.

      If your the type of person that's very outgoing and extroverted you probably don't have much to worry about in terms of alcohol, it's more an issue if your an introverted person who deals with a lot of generalized anxiety that you might get addicted because the alleviation of those problems feels liberating,

I love that he’s doing this with BERO and I love how proud of it he is. He should be. This was a wonderful talk that covered so many different topics and as a big Tom fan, it was like a gold mine for me. Love how many times he mentioned RDJ-I should have known that Robert would have been an ally to him in this endeavor, but I loved to hear it from Tom’s own mouth. When i quitted drinking I still go with friends to the eat out, to party, but i go home at 11 pm, cause by that time everyone is drunk and not fun anymore, can't hold conversation or thought, so i just go home, cause it is really pointless to stay. Whenever I hear Tom talking about his sobriety, I remember the interview he did during the pandemic, maybe...6 months before he started his sobriety journey? He was doing the interview via zoom at home, and he literally left screen to grab and open a beer mid-interview saying 'it's 5 o clock somewhere', and you can literally see this expression on his face, this awkward thought of not knowing how to not have it? I always think of that, and I'm glad he finally found recognition of that behavior. Super admirable and humbling to hear his voice and journey

    I like that more actors are on podcasts because they are more real with everything they feel comfortable talking about. That's why I love Inside of you because the actors on there feel more comfortable compared to a live audience watching you and clapping and all that. It is less superficial.

    Aside from all the humanity in this interview, after the MCU films, and indeed the Uncharted film. I really thought I'd never be able to see Tom Holland as a mature CHARACTER in a film. Seeing him more grown, both mentally and physically, I would love to see him take on more mature roles. Both when it comes to the obvious spider-man ocnnection, i.e: a more grown up spiderman, dealing with grown up and mature issues, not just teenage boy issues. But also in wider roles, showing deeper and more realistically deep, mature roles. I have so much confidence in his longevity now that he's grown up. He doesn't look like a boy anymore, he looks like a real young man.

    I do fully believe Hollywood loves Tom Holland more then he loves them. I do genuinely believe he loves being Spider-Man and doesn’t want to return to just spit on the hard work the third film did and just also think he rightfully wants to be paid more. Before it was Spider-Man in the MCU and Tom Holland is doing it and now it’s Tom Holland as the big name in the MCU as well as being one of the biggest names ever in fiction, Spider-Man.

Not an alcoholic, just realized how terrible it is for you.
