Im sorry all this is happening and I agree you have to prepare as much as one can....As for Roxy, little dogs are notorious for being hard to house train.... When she goes to the bathroom on her pad, take that pad and put it outside, when your husband goes to take her out, treasure her to the dirty pad outside . Right now she's thinking outside is for play time and inside is the bathroom, so she's just a bit confused right now, it's just a matter of getting her unconfused....
Oh, my goodness, Denise. What difficult and crazy stuff. It's so good to have family and friends there; keep hanging in and just know how much you are loved.

Oh I am so sorry to hear about your plight with health issues. My husband and I are in similar situations so I understand your stress. Hubby ended up in the hospital last year and I told him not to worry about me as home care would help. Well the help was in very short order and I ended up living on Ensure most of the time. But one can live on Ensure for a while and do well. You make it work as you have too. You can’t just give up and crater. If something were to happen again to him I to would end up in some kind of respite care. So many prayers for both of you and I hope it happens quickly so that its over quickly. Many blessings to you.
Oh dear. Poor Allen. I hope he is able to have surgery soon and that it results in a fast and full recovery! I can only imagine the intricate planning that needs to go into both Allen's recovery, and in arranging for your needs during his recovery. Its great that you have family and friends who are willing to help, and if needed, there are always temporary rehab/caregiving facilities. I know several people in similar situations, where when the caregiver suddenly was the one needing care, both people went into a rehab/care facility together, and that worked out well for them. Thank goodness you have Roxy to bring smiles to your faces. I sincerely hope you are able to get all the details worked out so that you and Allen can get over this latest bump with the least possible distress. PS. Your new short hair cut is cute! PSS. That video of Roxy running around the yard is just precious!!!

I adopt old dogs that need someone because they lost their homes for some reason or another. They still have lots of love and fun to give.
We almost adopted a senior poodle, but we decided in the end we wanted the joy of a puppy. They changed Allan's appointment until thursday. So we wait.

Hi Michelle. I have Primary Progressive M.S. and was diagnosed in 1995. There really is nothing they can do for me but I do take Clonazepam at night which is an anti-spasmodic and anti-anxiety drug. I take Gabapentin also but it is just to help with the inflammation and pain. My M.S. has progressed slowly over the years and I don't have attacks. The weird thing is, is that the pain of my M.S. is left hip and leg and that is where the Cancer is bugging me the most. It's a crap shoot as to what is causing what, so I just motor on. I'm sorry you have new marks. Take care of you, my TH-cam friend.

This is a hard situation for you both but I do believe prayers and Roxie will help. Try not to feel bad or guilty about what you are physically not capable of doing.
