I think you still need a target in front of you to perform it the same as ghost curse. If the target is underground with dig it will fail.
I didn't know at the time either, but it looks like non-Ghost Curse does check for an opponent being around. If not, it 'misses'.
Why did the announcer call Riolu and Weedle "intense Pokemon" xD
Clearly they are very dangerous.It might be because of their high level.
Still unlucky none of them favorites 😞
