- Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in the Romhack Radical Red using only Dragon types?
Nuzlocke rules:
- Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
- Only one of EACH Dragon in the game
- All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
- Always Set mode
- No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
- No overleveling the next gym leader

Hey, Antlerboy, I tried Hard Mode on Radical Red and it's absolutely BONKERS (basically, almost all legendaries, even more difficult battles and the odds are completely stacked against you). I would be really hyped to see you try it.

I think a fun challenge Nuzlocke could be "Pokémon that are other games characters." So, for example, Shiny Armorouge is Megaman, Shiny Mega Salamence is Spyro, etc. Just to be creative to find full teams and back ups would be fascinating to watch!

Cannot wait to see Hardcore mode run, you do lose Protect, Set Up moves (Dragon Dance, Sword Dance, etc.) and the option to set terrain/weather, but Detect, Burning Bulwark, Obstruct and other Protect like moves are still in the game, and some moves like Mystical Power are still in the game, IMO if you want to use the Protect + Toxic strategy the best options is Mons Beautifly (Silk Trap + can learn Toxic + U-turn), you also lose access to things like Air Ballon, the terrain seeds, Weakness Policy, and last but not least all Gym Leaders and Elite Four have gimick like PERMA terrain/weather and after Falkner most fights have 6 Pokemons, so good luck and good Prep time.

Every pokemon has 3 abilities to pick snd 3 innates
You can set ev's, any move the pokemon can learn (tm, learn, egg, tutor)
3 new evolutions and a new one in the future
There are custom forms called redux forms

Started of as a Grass type challenge and said in the middle of it "f*ck it... DRAGONS"
Bring back Steven as master. Fix his teams move set to help it out. Make Wallace the 8th gym minus wailord. Help sceptile with more learn moveset. Take swablu off Winona. Put swellow back on her team. Have her skarmory as a lead with spikes and stealth rock. For Watson team should be voltorb, magnemite, Raichu, and Manectric. Put Aron on Roxie’s team and get rid of geodude. Make Juan a trainer outside sky pillar when you go to catch rayquaza. Make his team Wailord, gyarados, Gorebyss, Huntail, and Kingdra. You should fight him to see if you are worthy with a battle with Rayquaza. He can mention he was Wallace’s mentor.
You have some insane skill in nuzlockes. Radical red is hard, i still havent been able to nuzlocke it

Guys wanna know my short story about shiny dragonpult...no?...WELL TO BAD CAUSE I GONNA TELL YOU it all started on my run of pokemon sword and sheild i was hunting for a dreepy cause i wanted a dragonpult for my end game team after a VERY long time of hunting i encountered a dreepy BUT not just any dreepy A SHINY DREEPY i excited as ever for finding my first shiny ever i ran around my room and then back to my switch as i fell into panick because i didnt know if it had any recoil moves me carefully lowering until it has used all 4 diffrent moves none recoil i lowerd it and caught it in a ultra ball i used my Xp candies evolving it into a dragon pult imidently it helped me beat the game a couple year after this in late 2023 i released a few of my boxed pokemon have pokerus including my starter i spred it to the rest of my team including my dragonpult this dragonpult has been giving me the shiny god luck and now whenever i start a new play through i get 1 random shiny anytime through the game sadly i cant transfer this dragonpult into pokemon scarlet for some reason thus being stuck in my pokemon sword save file this is the story of my shiny dragonpult and i am happy if you read the whole of my story.
I love this story because I hunted a dreepy so thank you for telling us this story

Damn your para luck makes me feel bad..i recorded 100 turns of enemies stunned and 100 of me stunned and it was 81/19 for me failing to move and 59/41 for them being able to move..hate the mechanic

listen there is an ingame trade for a fricking pal once you get cut you can acsess it its in the building near the exit between diglet cave and pewter city(brook gym city), and its a ice dragon type. i guess you couldnt get it cause you have to capture a sentret a normal type for it.(it needs furfet) but if you do another run you should get it.
